Fun, interesting game really enjoyed it great job
Thanks a lot!
Very nice game and indeed very strange but cool planets and inhabitants!
Thanks, glad you liked it! :)
Man, that title screen track is a straight-up banger. This is a lot of fun! The flying section is such a nice throwback (major Star Fox / old-school arcade vibes), but it still feels like its own universe. Then dropping into the melee sections caught me off guard in a good way, swinging the sword with the mouse is chaotic but super satisfying once you get the feel for it, especially when you're cleaving through a whole swarm. And I love their physics-based death; makes it really fun to take them out.
The art direction is wild, the portraits/characters have so much personality, and the animations and little sound cues make everything feel alive. Also huge respect for pulling this off solo and having it run smooth in WebGL as a 3D game. Really great jam entry.
Thanks so much for the kind words! Really glad you enjoyed it.
Cool that you made this by yourself and added multiple gameplay sections too. There’s a lot of content in this game. The ship reminds me of Star Fox. Good music choice as well; it reminds me of old NES music back in the day. Overall, it’s a very interesting experience. Good job!
(Feel free to check out our game as well if you have the time)
Thank you very much! I'll be sure to check it out
I absolutely adore this game's wackiness! The artstyle has to be one of my favorites from this jam - If I could give 6 starts for visuals, I fucking damn would. I loved the combat too, it reminded me of the weapons in REPO, where you have to manually swing them to attack.
This is a really fun submission, great job!
Wow thank you very much! I really tried to make artstyle weird and different so I'm really glad you liked it! :)
I had a good time, the game is funny, the ship section is a bit clunky(don't know really "where I am" to collect fuel) but it works. Reminds me gummy ship in Kingdom Hearts. Anyway good job !
Glad you had good time! Thanks! :)
Wow, that was an interesting experience and actually a had a lot of fun!
As for the bitter points:
Overall - cool entry!
Thank you very much glad you liked it! Thank you for the feedback too! For the flying I tried to get that unprecise feeling of older games but sure it can be improved and for the fighting I think you don't have to swing that hard, but yeah plan on improving it too by adding some lock-on or on-command slashing.
Damn the variety of gameplay ! And the visuals too !! Good job !
Thankss! :)
That's fun! I like the retro style of it. The spaceship section was fun, reminds me of Star Fox a lot. The melee section was cool as well, I guess i didn't have to swing it like crazy and it touching enemies also does the work. Also I suppose the collectible bubbles only get picked up by the sword and not the player. Other than that, great job on the game:)
Glad you had fun!
naaaah, that’s waaay too cool, bro!!!! I loved the art style (especially the portraits, they were so charming), and the idea of having a different kind of gameplay in between levels ;) Kudos for that!
Thanks! Glad you liked it
Incredible amount of work, looks great and it is very fun. Great job
Thanks! :)
Super fun! Agree with the suggestions KelvinHM made below, some camera smoothing could definitely help with the dizziness. But overall the game definitely has a distinct feel and sensibility that is just fun throughout. I thought the level design for the city was particularly cool and liked the factory as well.
Few ideas if you do keep working on future iterations:
The gameplay got a lot more interesting on the third level with the ranged enemies adding a whole new element of strategy to it. Adding some additional enemy behaviors like flanking could help bring that out in the earlier levels too, where you get the fear of being closed in on from all sides while mostly moving backwards.
I also think it'd be cool to add some powerups in the flying sections that might help you in the combat so there's more connectivity between the two different game modes.
Enjoyed playing it and would definitely be interested to see an updated version in the future if you do decide to keep working on it!
Thank you very much for nice such a detailed feedback, I like your ideas and thought about some of that myself. Glad you had fun! :)
I liked the game feel and the overall balance.
The progression feels well tuned, and there’s a surprising amount of content.
Really impressive for a solo dev.
Nice work!
I’d love to hear your thoughts on our game as well if you get the chance.
Than you very much, I just did and I liked it very much! :)
First of all, kudos for even having two entirely different types of gameplay in a single game, especially when you are just doing this solo. The game is fun and does have quite unique art. It has a special look that makes it stand out quite a lot. Gameplay-wise, both game types are easy enough yet still feel exciting to play, but I think they can be further polished and improved. Regardless, I think you've already done a good job making the game despite the issues. Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much on such detailed and professional review! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
It remembers me on old gaming times with N64. Great Job!
I'm glad I succesfully did that! Thanks! :)
The art style and sounds are amazing! I think the idea of swinging your mouse to swing the sword is cool! however I wish I could lock the camera and just swing the sword or not sure if there is motion blur on or something but I found it a bit hard on the eyes with having the screen move back and forth fast, but overall still really cool game and really nice job!
Thank you for playing, glad you liked it! :)
Great job on making both mechanics (ship and action brawler) work so good. The art is crazy, and really creative and different!
Tanks a lot! Glad you liked it :)
A bizarre game, definitely strange!
Good work in having two different levels with two different gameplay styles. The dialogue scroll was a little slow for me and unskippable, but that's personal preference.
I found the sword swinging interesting, but tying it to the camera view made me motion sick. I found the best strategy was to close my eyes and move my mouse in one direction, spinning the character and the camera round in circles, then opening my eyes to see what the outcome was.
Well, that’s definitely one way to deal with the enemies. You don’t actually have to swing that hard though - even a small swipe will deal full damage. If you don’t swipe at all, it still works, just with slightly reduced damage.
Thanks so much for playing! :)
