Hi Pfoursync,

Thank you for your feedback. You can simply look at glowing balls/Orbs and press your tongue button. To get close enough try to jump in the glowing ball direction and then shoot your tongue by looking at it.

Great game. I like the wind mechanic thats something i haven't seen before :D!

Great Game and i like the idea. I had some issues with the UI it felt slightly of selecting the cookie pieces. Controls could be a bit more simplified. I think game should be playable only with mouse.

Yeah absolutly your right. I was scared that people can't find or are confused this is why i overposted everywhere what to do on my pages and comments. There was just to less time in the end for a full tutorial. Thanks a lot for your feedback

I agree to the other comments visuals are very nice, but the controls feel very wanky because when i push W the charakter roles in a for me random direction.

Great game nailed the theme thats definetly a strange place. I was always scared that i get punched by a jump scare xD. In Day 1 i could not find the last evidence i searched a long time. I thought maybe its the glowy wall a hidden chamber, but i had to give up after 10 minutes xD.

Its a Material which i applied to the Camera, which distorts the Screen position based on time and noise :).

It's very nice funny idea for a game, but i would recommend making the charge of the jump load faster :D!

Awesome game got kinda hooked played until night 4. I don't what comes after night 4 but i think if you add more events like scanning for weapons or drugs it can enhance the game even more. Little think to improve it would be nicer to have smooth access to the "id" maybe by clicking  a button on the keyboard and not clicking the on the screen.

Otherwise as i said really fun game, keep going!

Add bowling pins to the end and play around with more momentun. Imagine like a big scale of pins and u have to explode with all the objects and hit as much as you can. :D

Jesus Christ, funny game, but really hard to remember all the objects. I would suggest starting for the first levels a bit easier :D

I like the concept with the portals and different dimensions, similar to my game concept :D! I could not figur out how to continue in the second house with the chimney and the goblet inside.

i looove the art style it is absolutely beautiful! its cozy and soothing to play for a good afternoon break

The gameplay is enjoyable overall, though it took a little time to understand how everything works. Once I figured it out, it became much more engaging.

Thank you lukeitslukas. You can find cookies around the map, which you have to collect. You can find trails on the ground, which lead you mushrooms which give you special vision to see more of the world :D.

You can find trails on the ground which lead you to the hidden mushrooms. The mushrooms let you see hidden objects like the swing balls

Franky Psychedelic Adventure

BE AWARE --> The game executable is not signed and will throw an warning message "Windows protected your pc" by startup, this software is completly safe and you can continue by clicking on"more info" --> "run anyway".

Gamplay: The game is all about going to different dimensions (in the current version only Mushroom World, first 3 cookies) and collecting all the cookies which got stolen.

Creation Process: All Assets like 3D Models, Music, Charakters, Animation, Textures Code, etc. are handcrafted just for this Game Jam. "No Reuse from other games", "No Assets from Asset Stores", "No AI". The only thing that is from a thrid party provider (Asset Store) are the Sounds (Commercial License).

More Gameplay Hints:

  • Tasks:
    • Jump through the TV and collect all Gummyworms and Cookies (3) in the Mushroom World. 
    • Spoiler: Find hidden traces and objects to collect all cookies. They will light up when your close enough
  • Controls:
    • WASD --> Walking
    • Left Mouse Button --> Hook & Collect with Tongue shot
    • Mouse --> Look Around
    • Space --> Jump

Graphic and sound solid, but i have no clue whats the goal.

I like the graphics and Charakters. The heads reminded me on parodius. The sounds are also pretty solid.

Improvement Points:

  • Please add a door indicator it was really hard to find it searched a long time at the start.
  • when the character moves its a bit blurry
  • add automatic reload when magazine is empty
  • items spawned in objects like satelite which i could not pickup
  • While shooting you get slowed. I would remove that slowing feels unrewarding
  • I lost my spaceship, add a small home indicator

I like the idea, but i think there is some room for improvement. I really struggled with the controls. I think controls should feel easy and flawless.

Things i would improve:

  • Not use x and arrow down. I would use the mouse and click which dashes into wall and bounce to the reflected angle. Thats easy to execute, but still challenging because you have to predict the angle.
  • I you would focus more on the orbiting. What i would do is increase the orbiting objects and make your game build up speed only by orbiting (Not by walking). So the orbit becomes  more important mechanic of your game.

Solid mechanics and idea. The aiming felt by me very gltichy and frustrating. I would also recommend adding a mouse cursor. I would focus a bit on harder levels instead of a lot of levels.

Thx a lot for your feedback, glad that you liked the game. :D

I kept the game in a static pattern and not procedural because speedrunners should learn the chapters and find out shortcuts and mechanics to get better times. I think in a procedural setup speedrun time measurement can be pretty unfair, because by some people its easier by some harder.

I would prefer the aim controls with the mouse instead of WASD. Was it intended to use WASD to make it harder?
