Super impressive for 1 week! feels great to play. For me it has a sort of corporate quality to it, which takes away from the soul a little bit, but its polished and nice to play in all regards. Consider adding more sound, particularly on collecting XP. If you are planning to take this further try making the camera a bit more zoomed out and doing something else with the crosshair, its static distance isnt working for me.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I understand. The story and things like that will come later — my main focus for now was the gameplay ^^

Thanks a lot for your feedback! 😉

Really polished for a first jam; specially the UI on the main menu, even considering the pre-made asset use. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! ^^

Pretty impressive for a first jam. Maybe there is a lack of feedback on hitting an enemy. Anyway a very cool little survivor like !

Developer(+1)

Yeah, you’re right — it will definitely be improved. Thanks! ^^

I was addicted to Vampire Survivors for a while so I enjoyed playing this :D I think you got the main part of the mechanic very well, it felt good to run around and defeat the other enemies, and anytime I stood still the enemies damaged quite a bit, so it felt balanced

my main feedback would be that some additional sound effects would have been very cool, I felt like a lot was happening but I only heard a squishy/liquid blood sound. This would have made it more immersive, but overall this was a complete game and it was fun to play

Developer(+1)

Hey, thanks a lot for the kind words — I’m really glad you like it. I’ll definitely take your feedback into consideration!

It’s a good game, similar to Vampire Survivors in terms of interface  I initially thought it was a Diablo‑like. The time between character upgrades feels long, but overall I enjoyed the game.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback — I’ll definitely take that into account!

webpage wouldn't load

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I don’t really understand why either. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s probably an issue with the Web Player rather than the game itself. But there is also a downloadable version ;-)

Great presentation! I love survivor-likes good stuff!

Developer(+1)

Glad to hear that — thanks! ^^

this is so polished and in-depth i was so shocked you did it solo in a week!! :D massive congrats!! :] took me a little second to get the hang of, but really drew me in. amazing work!

Developer(+2)

Thanks a lot — that really means a lot to hear. That’s exactly why I’m doing this, and I’ll definitely keep working on the game ^^

Really impressive and polished game given you’ve only had a single week of time!

I felt very invincible until I got oneshot in wave 15 or so :D Some additional hurt feedback would help, or make it more clear if you are very low on health.

Very good job :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot! Yes, you’re right — I’m still working on the balancing ^^

That’s an impressively well-designed game for something made solo in just a week. There’s plenty of content, with the level system, buffs, different classes, abilities, and more. The passion and effort really show. Awesome work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, that really means a lot to hear — and it definitely motivates me to keep going! 😊

Very impressive - I can't believe how much you managed to fit into a week. Classes, spell craft - seeing multiple options on that title menu we super surprising for a game jam entry! I confess I didn't go too deep into the various systems - a little too much to explore with so many games to play - but I'm impressed nonetheless!

Some things that could have improved this for me:

- A bit of a spell description when you're choosing what spell you'd like to pick up. Helps players make the choice and gives more context to the effects they see on screen

- In a game like this, I think increasing the number of projectiles is a more appealing upgrade than simply upping the damage of each. (This might've been a feature of the spell forge, so sorry if I missed that). You want to see a whole lot of spells flying around screen after some level ups - it's a much more visual difference.

- I felt that difficulty could have ramped up a bit faster. I think I was on wave 7 by the time I started taking any damage, and I'm not a particularly skilled gamer either.

That said, super polished and expansive game, you should be very proud!

Developer(+2)

Hey, thanks a lot! I’ll keep your ideas in mind for the final version 😉

Really good game especially for your first game jam, Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I really appreciate it! ^^

Submitted(+2)

Insanely good for a first jam! All in all very fun to play, I think the only thing I could criticize would be getting no feedback on receiving damage. But yea that's basically it. Well done dude!

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I’ll definitely add that in 😉

Very cool game, the bees are my favorite ability, they’re super cute

Developer

Thanks — yeah, I think so too ^^

The most impressive part is that you managed to make all of this in just a week. I’m not really into this genre, but I have to admit it’s well done.

Developer

Thanks, that’s great to hear! ^^

Great game. A lot going on under the hood here and a serious amount of work for a solo dev in a week. I am impressed!

I have played a bit too much vampire survivors and so got quickly sort of over powered, but I still got the dopamine hit of surviving another wave and wanting to see what next upgrades would be.

If you add some more juice to this, e.g. softer lighting, explosion and player damage sound effects, camera shake on hit damage and other things like that - this could be a seriously great wee game - focus on building out that lore and arenas too and this can find an audience. It might not be your intention - and sure the genre is pretty busy - but with with a bit of polish...

Thanks for sharing and again, well done on getting this submission wrapped in the week. Kudos!

Developer

A thousand thanks for the kind words — that truly made my day! I will definitely continue developing the game, and the Steam page is already in progress. Your ideas are really great and I will absolutely take them into consideration for future development. Thank you so much!

A tremendous job

Developer

Thanks^^

That’s a pretty ambitious scope for a solo jam entry well done !

The progression system and crafting mechanics work nicely, and the gameplay feedback feels rewarding.
Great job!
i’d love to hear your thoughts on our game as well if you get the chance.

Developer

Thank you, that's great to hear! I'm already in the process of creating a Steam page :-)
