I really like this! The art is so cute! And while I didn't have the brainpower to craft a deck to get me past day 4, I had a lot of fun! The music though... it's so good... I spent a lot of time enjoying the vibes and the music :') I enjoyed playing!!
So good of a concept. As others mentioned, there is a bit of a balance issue on the later days. Even a well planned deck doesn't cut it (something like, the time penalty punishes pretty hard). But I had a ton of fun with this, super cute and great theming!
Great art and concept!!
Sadly I didn't understand the flavor mechanics enough to get past the "9 points" level...
Still, all the little details, the card stats and overall gameplay were quite good.
Keep it up!
Fun as heck this game! I feel like more options to choose cards from would be cool or some way to modify the cards in your deck kinda like in Inscryption. But either way very enjoyable! Love the art style and the cute customers! Sound effects and music are so cute. Great game!
Thank you very much for playing! Yeah, I tried making the customers based off of certain talents, glad you enjoyed it~
Interesting concept and really good art!! My only issue was with how heavy it relied on the RNG. There were some things you could do to counter it, such as instantly serve orders that were too hard to roll a new one right away, but it still felt like some orders could easily overpower your deck.
I really liked that you could start again from the level you lost, instead having to do the entire run again. Good job!
Really like the idea, art, and music on this!
But I can't help but feel there's an issue with the difficulty that echoes what some of the other players have said. Even trying to evenly disperse my card options, there seems to be a pretty big spike on day 4, I was able to get to 7/9 at the closest. I wonder if a good way to balance this would be granting more time on perfect orders - which would let the player have more room to discard or play the correct cards.
It feels like sometimes the close enough gauge is a little finnicky, where it will accept dishes that are slightly off from the request sometimes, but not others.
Would definitely be good to see some more cards added, so its not just the same 5 card selection per run, since it seems like even if you try to evenly disperse your card options, its still not enough to get over that difficulty hump.
Otherwise, I think this is an awesome premise that has some great vibes, just needs a couple small tweaks to be a top of the charts submission, good work from the team!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I agree, the last days seem to bring out the rushed balance; between the time, available cards/tastes, grading, etc. makes it tougher to do well on the back of the deck building (vs getting lucky).
Regardless, I appreciate that you and others enjoyed it enough to give it multiple goes! The feedback and ideas help a lot
Cute art and neat visual presentation.
Nicely done BGM!
Simple to understand and play.
I couldn't get past day 4, consistently failing at 4/9 plates, no matter if I went fast and picked the closest cards or took my time and discarded unwanted cards to find a closer match.
I'm not kidding. I played that day probably 5 times, always failing at the exact same count.
Maybe I didn't pick the right cards in previous days, dooming my run.
Good game, team!Fun little deck builder that gets quite hard quite fast. I could not for the life of my get past Day 4, though mayhaps I had the wrong cards in my hand.
I was a bit lost with the gameplay logic, but that's honestly perfectly matches Haachama.
The art is so cute, that was my favourite part. I liked the music too and the gameplay is fun and interesting.
Thank you!
The game reflect Haachama's cooking style very well. Making it into a roguelike card game is quite novel too.
I think one is mostly good. The only thing I felt was lacking is any way to intelligently strategize. The ways the orders progress are unpredictable, so I wasn't sure what deck changes would actually help.
I felt very powerful with all the test cards I had. :P I think it embodies Haachama's cooking pretty well. One thing I noticed is the deck isn't reset if you start a new game, so I still had all the cards in the previous run.
I faced some of this kind of gameplay! But this one has to be the most puzzling and frenetic due to time! I liked the BGM and... was the SFX supposed to be a bite?🤣
I enjoyed it, regardless!
Very fun and cute!! A simple deck builder but spiced up with serving meals on a time limit, the art and music was very cute, I really liked it!!
Thank youu, glad you enjoyed it!
I really like the feel of this one. The fast paced gameplay leaves you wanting to just keep going. Music was pretty good too. Only problem I had was I was dumb and didn't understand what I was supposed to do at first.
Yeeah, a how-to was actually in the talks, but the last few days got occupied by other tasks... haha Anyway, I'm glad you liked it, and thanks for playing it!!
