The art is so gorgeous! I love me some point-and-click games so this was nice. Any suggestions I would offer have already been offered by other people below. Nonetheless, good work! I will look forward to your updates!

Holy, this was hard! But fun! I really like the spritework; combined with the music, the overall aesthetic works well with the gameplay to make it feel really fast paced. I must have died like 50 times, but finishing to the end felt satisfying. Good work!

The best time I managed to get was a combined 1 minute 34 seconds.

Your writing is fire. Now I know, if I get a time machine, don't get rich through lottery numbers, just get rich through doppelganger combat. I enjoyed playing! (*gazes in horror upon the masses and masses of dead grem bodies CC slain for the big grem boss fight*)

This is magnificent. The art is so beautiful and amazing. All of the holomems' portraits and expressions... so pretty! The music is great too! I think I heard some Gigi noises too in the Gigi levels, but I couldn't tell if I was hallucinating or not because most of what I could hear from the game audio was the bgm; if I wasn't hallucinating, those were great :') (perhaps some settings to adjust audio levels would be nice?)

But the gameplay? *chef's kiss* I haven't played a match 3 where the goal was to clear the spots, rather than to just accumulate points so I had a lot of fun! So many levels and a bunch of different mechanics for each holomem... amazing! And I really like the little touches when beating the levels such as when you beat em without using any items. The game feels really good to play! Simply wonderful.

This is cool! The art is very pretty and combined with the sound design makes for a cool occult atmosphere. Those times that big white skull(?) skeleton(?) thing flashed on the screen got me good haha. The gameplay loop is fun too; it was really satisfying investing all the power ups into one skill and having that skill get super strong. I liked having an ina beam that was like 5 tiles wide or so :') I had a lot of fun!

Oh my god it's a rage game, and you got me-- I raged. Those freaking birds that I hate!!! But also I had a lot of fun. The music choice was good-- a fitting bpm to match the urgency of the climb. The art is very cute. I really like your grem sprite and animations :') And the sfx are sooo cute! I ran into that bug though where after I collect the time divide by 2 debuff and the golden boba next to it, the game freezes (Firefox browser). But all in all despite all my rage, I had a lot of fun!! Great stuff, especially for 1.5 days of work!

The best score I got was a HiScore of 9 with 1.85 seconds to spare. I had to lock in really hard on that final platforming sequence.

The vibes are scary, and this game is peak. Thus, I'm afraid this is peak. I'm a sucker for point-and-click adventures, especially scary ones, so I loved playing this. And your usage of popup windows for the timelines... it's genius. The Temari bgm also fits very well with the aesthetic and urgency of the situation in the game. I kept running into a bug where after I jumped timelines, when I tried to pick up the cloth the game would freeze. Despite that, I really enjoyed playing this. The art, the sound choices, the vibes, the writing-- it's all 10/10 for me. I'm very looking forward to any future updates. Just simply amazing...

For your first time doing game dev, this is some awesome stuff. I really like the game design with the missions unlocking new abilities (and so many of them, too). The auditory and visual feedback when you hit enemies or when enemies hit you, the screen shake and zoom in when you die, the game juice is there! And I like the meta humor you included in the dialogue. The line about the enemy with the paper clip head-- that gave me a chuckle. I had fun playing! Good stuff!! And I hope you continue on your game dev journey!

The music is really great!! And the art reminds me of the old armor games flash games I used to play a lot on the family computer a long time ago :') so playing this gave me some good nostalgia. I really enjoyed the gameplay loop too (though I've always been a sucker for these types of top-down action games hehe). While I do think boss Kronii's attacks are really hard to dodge, I didn't need to because I was so powered up from all the upgrades that it was a walk in the park haha! I enjoyed playing!! Great work!

Very interesting and fun! The gameplay felt very dondori (pikmin) esque; I love pikmin so I enjoyed this game quite a bit despite the multitasking taking some getting used to. The models for Bakatare Circus are cute too! Good stuff!!

Cute, quick, and fun! It was nice seeing the progress you posted on the discord during the jam and then finally playing your finished version. The highest score I managed to get was 11 😤 I enjoyed playing! Good stuff!

This game is simply wonderful. The art is very cute. The dialogue is well written. The music and sfx choices mesh well with the art style and gameplay to create good ambience and a satisfying experience. The puzzles were tricky for me, so it was all the more satisfying to beat the whole game. I really enjoyed it! Great work!!

Thank you for your kind words :')
It means a lot and fills me with determination.

I felt like this was crazier than Crazy Taxi because I think I collided and messed with so many NPC cars that they went haywire. At one point, I was just delivering ice cream and I see at the top of the screen an NPC car flying across the sky while facing down towards the ground. The NPC cars drive so erratically sometimes, I feel like their driving is crazier than mine haha.  Overall, I had a great time playing! Great work!

Challenging but fun! Playing this had me relive the days I played a ton of Downwell a long time ago :') Good times. The visuals are pretty, the ambience is chill, and the game is hard, but that's the fun of it in my opinion. I enjoyed playing!

It's peak... I kneel. It's very polished, the visuals are very pretty, the juice is there and the game feels good to play! I had a lot of fun!

(1 edit)

This is cute. I really like the little sound bites, and together with the music and theme, the game comes together for a pleasant experience. I thought the rewind mechanic was cool and helped me get the perfect positioning for attacking. I had fun!

Edit: And I forgot to mention that I liked your usage of the stock mixamo animations lol they fit very well

I really like the art! I can't emphasize it enough. And all of the gameplay you have so far is fun! I enjoyed playing!

Indeed it only took a minute, but it was a nice minute. I like all of the little sound bites, and your video editing for the intro is well done. It took like 10 tries, but I eventually got the win screen! I had fun!

You art for Immerofficeworker is beautiful. It was a pleasant 2 minutes. I enjoyed playing :)

This was great! You really captured the feel of this game jam lmao!!! When I designed the level with 4 days left, lost a day, and then had to playtest and then redesign on the last 2 days, it really felt like I was workin on the game jam all over again :')

I enjoyed the experience!

This was truly amazing. I had a really great time and I really loved the experience. I'm gonna gush for a bit:

  • All of the art is sooo cute and pretty and amazing. I was already looking forward to this entry after I saw the preview WIPs of the Shiori, Raden, and exhibit models, and seeing how they're implemented in game was so satisfying!
  • All of the little game juice bits improve the experience so much! The little sound bites that play whenever you interact with an object (Gigi's 6-7, Kiara's kikkeriki, the bau baus)-- they make the experience so enjoyable and endearing!
  • All the references... I see you 😌↕ (<-- that's me nodding in approval and understanding)
  • The ambience is well done! The lighting combined with the glitchy effects to some things in the environment as well as the creepy but not too creepy bgm-- mmm*chef's kiss*
  • The way you implemented how the credits are shown and the way you implemented the tutorial... damn it's genius!
  • And all I saw in the game were anomalies, no bugs!

My results: 6:25:27 time, 3 mistakes total, and a lot of fun :') Amazing work

That's fair. Some feedback I got from playtesters were about certain attack patterns (especially Kiara's) being too unforgiving. At the time, it was near deadline, so rather than spend time on fixing aspects like the speed and hitboxes of attacks, I decided to focus on making the rest game playable at least, since I also figured that the player's (Gigi and Ceci's) health pools being so high combined with the fact that the revive action restores so much health would mean that the player can effectively not ever lose as long as they were thinking.

Sandalphon is from Grandblue Fantasy ("GBF"), who also appears in Shadowverse because GBF and Shadowverse are both by Cygames. If you search up "Gigi sandalphon" you can go down that rabbit hole, because one of Gigi's... hyperfixations(?)... is Sandalphon and his story and character dynamics and relationships.

I liked this a lot! The art is cute and the music is great. Although I found myself not utilizing the punch mechanic much, the gameplay was simple and fun. A really great "turn off brain and relax" kind of game in my eyes.

I loved Grem'o'war from last jam so I was happy to see a continuation in story! The game is fun! I really like the art. Fuwamoco are so intimidating and have so much aura when they strut towards you lol. My only criticisms are:

1. I felt like Biboo's judgement cut move was instant and I couldn't tell if I was hit by it or by a pebble, so I also didn't know how to dodge it. Perhaps adding a clearer indicator of that move would help?

2. The Shiori fight takes much longer than the other fights because she is so tanky. I kept running out of ammo and thought the ammo drops would keep spawning, but when they didn't, I succumbed to so many novelites that my game lagged like crazy. I think making Shiori less tanky or making the novelites tankier (but deal more damage to Shiori when defeated) would improve the gameplay flow, because I felt like I was breezing through each boss until Shiori, at which point it felt like I hit a wall.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed this very much! Great work again!

you're a god

Thanks for the bug report! Hopefully they're fixed now!

Once I got the hang of placing and arming bombs in the boss's attack zones while dodging all the attacks, setting off multiple armed bombs at the same time was pretty satisfying! The gameplay loop works well with your audio selection to create a nice arcade game feeling. I enjoyed playing!

The vibes are nice and comfy. I really like all of the art that you made and I appreciate all the little references you've added here and there. The foundation is there, and if you decide to build upon the progress you've made with this piece, I think you'll end up with something great. I enjoyed playing!

The art is gorgeous. Regarding gameplay, I appreciate the game juice you've included-- such as the screen shake and particle effects on attack hit-- but I feel that adding a setting to tone down the screen shaking would be helpful (because I got kind of dizzy after some time ^-^"). I see the vision though, and I enjoyed playing.

I enjoyed playing! Your idea and execution is funny, and I really like all of the art and assets you made! Doki's poses juxtaposed with the things she was reacting to were golden. And seeing chat's messages was pretty funny. I thought the timing of pressing the keys to get perfect reacts was pretty tricky and unclear though because I had to press the keys before the clips would come on the screen. Nonetheless, I had a fun experience!

I enjoyed playing! It's always satisfying to see the rube goldberg machines you build succeed in completing the objective. I appreciate all of the clever ways the simple machines/pieces were designed to reference all sorts of things. The cutscenes after completing each level were cute as well. If I may offer a suggestion, adding a way to zoom in with the camera would be helpful; I struggled sometimes when trying to set up things precisely. Nonetheless, I had fun.

This is really silly and fun! All of the talents' voicelines and art is so funny! And the talents' unique shapes made the simple gameplay challenging and interesting! I had fun playing!

I remember seeing all of your Chattino work in progress updates in the Holojam discord; the finished Chattino model is really nice and cute!! I love it! Despite not being really good at platformers, I eventually made it to the jetpack! I had fun!

I haven't come across a dual control rhythm game before, so it was interesting having to control both Ceci and Gigi at the same time. The music remixes are nice, and I like the art. I had fun playing!

I think Ceci and Gigi's Naimonodenari designs are some of the most beautiful and handsome designs for them, and you really nailed their pixel art! All of your art of their different expressions are wonderful! The writing is lovely too! I enjoyed the CCGG banter!

This is pretty sick! I really like all of the pixel art, especially the portraits! The really fast quiz questions adds to the chaotic atmosphere of the game, and I was always kept on my toes. Getting the hang of dodging all of the hazards in the final sequence made me feel badass! I had fun playing!
