so cool bro

I absolutely loved the UI! The gameplay is super enjoyable, especially the mechanic of passing through walls. After playing the first level, I thought to myself, 'This would be legendary if it focused a bit more on puzzles,' and I was thrilled to see that you actually did that! It turned out to be an amazing result. Congratulations!

Very good game, its unique and we have implemented similar shader of the wave haha. Well polished and the music fits well!
That's a 5/5 for me. Holy crap that was well done. I love the music! It felt like it really belonged with this game. The jumping sound and wave activation sounds are perfect. I don't mind hearing them a lot. Gives the game a lot of character.
The challenges were just hard enough that I didn't get annoyed by losing so often haha. I felt like I really had to practice my wave air travel in order to progress and it felt rewarding to finally get it. Art is great and simple, but informative.
Really cool submission!
Interesting mechanic. It fits very well with the jam. I will say, the steel looked very close to the glass at a glance. The audio was done well, plenty of SFX, and nice music. The controls felt nice on the keyboard and mouse. I liked that you could chain the transformations; additionally, it's a cool touch that the light form travels faster than sound. The environments are aesthetically pleasing, as well.
Cool submission.
I actually saw this game way earlier, before realizing I had review games in my queue. Still, I felt I had to come back to it later.
This is a very polished game! I love the minimal artstyle and the music, the transition from the main menu to the game is a great first impression. You've got great game feel with excellent visual effects, sounds, screenshake, a good difficulty curve with optional levels, and I appreciate the small detail that light is faster than sound!

Two pieces of feedback: I think the one way platforms could use a little more clarity. I can see the one row of solid pixels for the 'solid' side and the side you pass through skips every other pixel, but I think which side is which could be made more clear. I also got stuck in the environment a couple times with the wave, the first time being the very first feather. I got stuck in the ground and needed to restart. Screenshot below.
Awesome job!
thanks for this really nice feedback! Artist here, so very glad you enjoyed all of the graphics, I spent a lot of time making it look nice :D The one way platforms is definitely something that people have talked about, and I do see how it could be difficult to notice. We will definitely fix that in our next update. As for the ground stuff, it is a known bug that we have been trying desperately to fix since early in development, but were only able to mitigate it a little bit. Hopefully we can find a way to fix it fully! thanks again for playing :DD
Snappy and responsive controls, brilliant interpretation of the theme. Might be one of the more polished games submitted. I enjoyed changing forms midair and penetrating through walls.
This is amazing. Such a good interpretation of the theme. It's incredible you made all this in a month. This deserves a full release. Definite 5 star from me,
Really nice platformer, had my eye on this since seeing it in the discord, big fan of precision platformers and it took way too long to get around to it, I'll be coming back to this one again.
My favourite interpretation of the theme so far.
Its really impressive that this game was made in just one month. Music and graphics are incredible and the veery ingenious mechanics is very well made. Outstanding work!
Thank you so much! I also really enjoyed your game, the mechanic was so fun and unique!
I like the game, the sound and specially the loading animation from monitor screen to full screen is beautifully executed. My sugestion is maybe choosing a different color palette for the player, also the texts too, With the current pixel art style it is very difficult for me to understand what to do and also I kept missing where my player went. Overall a really good game! Also I struggled to really jump higher and was stuck at level 1 :'(
Sick game! Love to see more platformers :) Really enjoyed the art and fun mechanics. Only thing I wish were some different hotkey options on keyboard, but maybe I just have a hard time with hitting X. Great job all around!
Supa good, supa polished. 👍
Best game of the jam.
Awesome! That's so cool! I love your pixel art and music effects, and the interpretation of the wave is spot on! This pixel art brings back memories of playing NES games as a kid. I love it! Even though it's a little blurry at times, it's still fantastic! The overall quality is also very high; I think you guys are a very professional team! Well done!
My only suggestion is that perhaps the main character's colors could be made more vibrant, making it visually clearer if it's distinguished from the background. Also, adding some checkpoints would make it easier to retry difficult parts and avoid repeatedly running through the map.
(artist here) thank you so much for the awesome feedback!!! I would love to know where the pixel art is blurry, just for my own sanity working on the game! (I don't know much about Godot but i do know we made it 'pixel perfect' meaning that there are only so many pixels on the screen, so idk where blur could be a factor.) I used a specific 20 color palette to achieve the old NES style, and I tried to make the character as bright with those colors, but maybe making use of some of the red or green could help make it stand out more. And yeah, your point about checkpoints is very fair, many of our playtesters have commented on that so we are definitely going to do something to fix the difficulty/add checkpoints. Thanks again for the wonderful feedback :3
The blurriness I'm referring to is that some of the main character's colors are the same as the ground, so sometimes they look like they're connected, especially when I'm looking at the road ahead and using my peripheral vision to locate the character. I think changing the character to a color that doesn't exist in the scene would be a better idea. Don't worry, your "perfect pixels" is perfectly fine! I also used "perfect pixels," although I'm using Unity.
I really enjoyed this one. I appreciate the controls :) Though I felt like it could have more dynamic - maybe to have reset of wave abilities after jump in mid air. Because it is sooooo satisfying to move mid air through the map swapping from one wave to another.
I was stuck on one level after I realized that my recording stopped, I didn't manage to finish it though :D
Thank you so much for the great feedback, and the video of your gameplay! Which level did you get stuck on? I'd love to help you get through it!
It was the same as the last on the video. If I remember correctly you need to go up through the double surface all the way and then right to pick up the thingy and then go back down and to the right also through double surface. I am not sure if that item on top is required but I couldn't either finish without it or get it without dying on the way back 😅
THIS GAME IS SO COOL. Very fun and unique, I like the gameplay of both waves. Nice artstyle with calming melodies. :D
thanks so much! glad you enjoyed playing it! happy that you liked the artstyle :3 (the artist is writing this)
Very high quality, you get a surprising amount of mileage out of these mechanics. Just wish I could use j and k for my wave buttons.
was planning on adding it, but forgot ToT, thanks for the kind words and feedback!
I enjoyed this game a lot ! The movement feels really nice and the transition from one waveform to another is really smooth and satisfying. I like the music, sfx, and the visuals. Although I also think the visuals need to be a bit clearer. You're the first game I get to rate so thank you for letting me start with a banger ^-^
