To be honest, the easy mode doesn’t work—I couldn’t get it working. But I noticed that many people psychologically felt like it was easier anyway. The dinosaur kind of has its own memory: if you hide from it for a while, it forgets you and goes back to its nest. The idea of the easy mode was actually to increase the number of mushrooms, but as you know, there was a time constraint :)
I couldn’t fully understand the issue you mentioned about “stopped accepting my keyboard commands.” If you can explain it a bit more, it would help me a lot when I continue developing the game after the jam.
Haha, no no, those sounds aren’t mine 😄 There are a few sounds that belong to me, but the businessman definitely isn’t me hahaha.
Man, this is a seriously good Tower Defense game! You nailed the theme, and the art looks fantastic.
My absolute favorite has to be the Clownfish. The fact that it just provides 'psychological support' is hilarious and adorable. 😂 I feel invincible right now!
Sharing my Expert Mode run here (I consider myself a pro now 😎). One suggestion: It would be cool if we could upgrade the main fishes too. Great job!
Nooo, I can’t share the photo with you because the file is too big. I guess the platform can’t handle my score.
As I mentioned before, the art is just amazing! The story really pulled me in; I truly put myself in the character's shoes.
I wanted to mention a small visual bug I noticed: When the character walks downwards facing the camera, a square pixel line appears on the left side. It looks like the animation frames might have been cut a bit too wide in the sprite sheet.
Overall, a very cool game. I was bracing myself for a sad ending, so I'm really relieved and happy that it ended well!
Great first impression! The character movement is super smooth and the hand animation is fantastic. I especially loved how the world moves and syncs with the music—it creates such a nice atmosphere. It's really impressive that you pulled this off in just one month. The vibe and theme interpretation are legendary. Congrats!
For a game about freelance stress, I actually found the gameplay quite relaxing and casual! It was a fun experience. My only critique would be the lack of audio/music, adding some would really elevate the vibe. Big congrats on finishing this within the month!
P.S. (Out of context): While checking your page, I discovered Mastodon and did some research—it looks really cool! Would you recommend I sign up? Is it a good platform for game devs to hang out?"
When I first opened the game, I was like 'What is this?' haha. But then I opened the menu, the sounds kicked in, and I totally got into the vibe. I'm having a surprisingly good time right now! To be honest, I don't see much connection to the 'Wave' theme, but you managed to make something really enjoyable regardless.
Also, I laughed so hard at the GitHub link ('http://I don't have one')! 😂 Best repo ever. Congrats!
The implementation of the omni-directional movement in the Green Zone is exceptionally smooth; it captures that zero-g space sensation perfectly. The environmental combat mechanics—specifically luring those buzzing, red-orbed enemies into lasers—create a fantastic gameplay loop. Achieving this level of polish and enemy variety in just one month is a serious achievement. Memorable work!
The game is really enjoyable! The black and white aesthetic gives it a unique identity. I was a bit confused at first, but once I figured out the loop, I got much faster. Interpreting the theme as 'Microwaves' was a clever touch!
Just one piece of feedback: When dragging food items from the bottom to the microwave, the numbers on some items are almost impossible to read. Improving the contrast there would help a lot. Congrats on finishing in time, great job!
I absolutely loved the UI! The gameplay is super enjoyable, especially the mechanic of passing through walls. After playing the first level, I thought to myself, 'This would be legendary if it focused a bit more on puzzles,' and I was thrilled to see that you actually did that! It turned out to be an amazing result. Congratulations!

I really dug the mechanics in this one! The Q ability is absolute MVP; the visual feedback when clearing a wave with it feels incredibly satisfying and 'crunchy.' I built my run around maximizing that active playstyle and managed to hit a score of 12,000. It really keeps you on your toes compared to passive tower defenses. Awesome submission
Making a turn-based strategy MMO for a game jam is incredibly ambitious, respect! The concept of accumulating turns while offline is a great mechanic. Like others mentioned, the learning curve is a bit steep and the UI takes time to get used to, but the depth of the game is impressive. Great effort!
