Your interpretation of the theme was very clear and understandable, congratulations! The sound, environment, and characters were also well done.
The game was enjoyable; I played it for a long time. The zigzagging of the bullets and the aliens' kicks when they took damage were great.
But I couldn't figure out the objective of the game. Maybe I missed something, but as far as I understand, the goal of the game is to collect as many precious stones as possible, right?
Dude, I loved the concept. You’ve really made a game that fits the casual game mindset perfectly—congrats. You should definitely consider releasing it on mobile; it’s a very enjoyable game, I’d totally play it :) There are a few small buggy spots where you can get stuck, but that’s okay. Congrats on finishing it on time and participating in the jam!
Sure, let’s see how the game turned out
Don’t forget to rate my game :) https://talha-dogan.itch.io/the-time-anamoly
Wow, you really analyzed the game well — I’m grateful for that, it’s a great developer-style comment.
Yes, I was very hesitant about making the mushroom level first-person and the city level third-person. I know it’s unconventional.
After watching the cutscene where the meteor crashes and the caveman approaches it a few times, I thought: the universe changes as the game continues, so let the perspective change too and let’s see how people react. :)
Anyway, thank you for your valuable comment, Matt.
I would’ve loved to see the moment when you hid and ran away, of course :) There are other ways too—for example, you can lure the dinosaur away from its nest and collect the mushrooms while it’s approaching you from a distance. Your comment and evaluation were really nice, thank you. I’ll fix the bugs and issues after the jam; I don’t want it to be unfair.
Hey everyone! 👋
My previous thread was incredible—I discovered so many amazing games and met great developers! Since the random queue seems to be a bit quieter (or changed) recently, I wanted to start a fresh thread to make sure no hidden gems get left behind.
Let’s help each other out in this final stretch!
The deal is the same:

I will play, rate, and leave constructive feedback.
In return, I’d be super grateful if you checked out my entry: The Time Anomaly.
My Game: https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2025/rate/4060379 It's a time-travel adventure where every step creates a butterfly effect! 🦋⏳
I check this thread constantly, so let’s get those ratings up! 🚀
Dude, let me be honest with you.
When I first opened the game, I was like, “What the hell is this?” Then I played for a few minutes and got hooked. You've handled the theme really well, and the logic is great. Even though the keys are different, I memorized them right away, haha.
It's an awesome project. If you tweak the graphics a bit, wow!
