this game was so fun1!! i really enjoyed the gameplay loop, buying upgrades and killing heroes! there definitely seemed to be a point where it just didnt even matter to get upgrades anymore because i was too strong and just had to keep clicking 'fix. A thing you could change is maybe making the structures removable, it felt like i added a structure at the beginning that was just in the way the entire time. It was a super fun game though nice job!

Game description
You are the villain in a 2D platformer. Waves of tiny “heroes” are trying to break into your castle and wreak havoc and you have to quickly construct defenses to stop them.
Theme interpretation
The waves are hundreds of the heroes of a 2D platformer. Normally this would be the player character, but in this case you're building the level to try to stop them. The "wave" is constructed of 100s of simple characters, all with minimal intelligence and the same actions that a player can perform in a 2D platformer. Like water, with a big enough number of them, they will flow into every crevice of a level.

Enjoyed thius for a while but got really repetative.
Ended up with mostly crushers and one or 2 guns.did't find a way to sell structures I don't want anymore.
Would be more interesting if there wehre more enemy types, like flying enemy, "hard hat" enemy that can stop a crusherand so on.
Same goes for structures - more variety would be cool.
I'd also say repairing structures is annying - would be geeat if they self repaierdeither at start of the wave or periodically.
Hey, thanks for playing the game! Totally agree with what you're saying. We have a new build coming out on the 10th with a lot more enemies and traps, auto-repair, some more levels and a bunch of balancing updates that should make it a lot more fun.
I think long term we might want to add some unlocks and whatnot, but that's for later. Thanks for checking it out! Would love to see you come back and give it a go next month :)
That was a lot of fun! There are some bugs with selecting upgrades, and having an upgrade get stuck, which almost made me ragequit, but then I kept playing and had a blast. I got to wave 25 before I decided by base was effectively unbeatable.
Addicted right away. This game is really good. Great idea and execution
Pretty fun! I ADORED the music - very well put together. The gameplay loop was short and sweet, which I admire, though I wasn't the biggest fan of the fact that you couldn't remove traps after you placing them. Still, a smartly-executed work. Nice job!
That was interesting - like building a Super Mario level to defend your tower. There is something satisfying watching hundreds of little guys getting shredded in your evil contraption.
It was a bit weird that there is no separate building phase. I really would like to strategize how I place my traps but now I need to do it in a hurry as enemies start coming immediately.
As a side note, it took me a couple of restarts to even understand that I can buy things at the start. I thought the start was a main menu, so it was a bit confusing that the game immediately started inside a game.
But overall, this was a pleasant and quite creative entry!
A very innovative tower defense game, with excellent sound effects and art. The only downside is that I might need more time to place the blocks before the game starts; heroes start appearing before I can even place the first one. Nice work!
Very fun to play! I found myself quickly finding any strategy to survive and kill those little heros. The gameplay is easy and enjoyable. And a good new turn for a tower defense game.
Entertaining game!! I get some bugs with the obstacles but overrall is cool
Terribly fun. Reminds me of those simulations with thousands of Marios running the Mario maker levels. Or like reverse lemmings. I massively applaud you managing to code that many enemies running across the screen with minimal AI and still making it performant. I got a little slowdown around level 20 but that's not too bad. The UI is lovely and the assets are clean and cute. I loved the chunky sound design. More hero types or the ability to sell blocks is all I could see improving or a bigger level over time. I dug this game a lot and I feel like it's got some legs.
This is loads of fun, very nice work on this one, in fact I'm going back to play a bit more of it after this review!
