I'm hoping I did well too. It was difficult to rate a lot of games.

It's a charming puzzle platformer. It's a solid game and I had fun playing it. My only complaint is that the controls are a little bit unforgiving. The timing of some jumps feels too tight. I did notice the coyote time, but it didn't feel long enough. I also couldn't make some jumps without having it use the coyote time.
I played and rated your game. It had great 3D graphics and the game play was fun. It almost felt like a console game.

Pirate Waves is a fast-paced survival game where you command a ship and face increasingly difficult waves of enemy vessels. The goal is simple: survive as long as possible while managing positioning, timing, and pressure from all sides.
Each wave ramps up the challenge, pushing you to adapt and stay sharp. It’s designed to be straightforward to pick up, but tense and satisfying as the difficulty climbs.
I’d really appreciate anyone who checks it out and gives feedback. If you play my game, I’m happy to check out yours as well. Feel free to drop a link in the replies.
Thanks for playing ☠️🌊

Well done game. My only complaint is that having to click on each coin strains the wrist after time. Other than that and a small UI issue where it is difficult to read the tool tips. To me the game seems great and I can clearly see what you were aiming for. The rainbow text "A new defender has joined" is a lot of fun too.
The pixel art is actually https://dqnuts.itch.io/ I didn't do anything besides minor stuff when plugging it in.
I love that we had the same music. I played your game it was great and I loved seeing the similarities. Thanks for commenting
>Also in the begining of the level my ship should be facing north instead of south because from that position controls are inverted. that is confusing for most of the players
This is good to know and keep in mind. I originally had the ship facing north, but due to ships taking a long time to turn, when not moving, the player had to spend 5 boring seconds each wave turning around to leave the town and start the zone.
>If anything seems of then it's the spawning of enemy ships right in your face
🤣 for sure. If you zoom out with the spyglass, you can see all the enemies spawn along a ring around the circle.
Enemy AI scripting is my weakest spot. I wish I could've learned more during this jam, but I had to focus on other areas to make a playable game.
