The best game on this Game Jam!
That's a lot of praise! Glad you enjoyed it! :D
he got me! i thought about making a similar game too, i really like the way you approached it. nice work!
Great minds think alike! Glad you enjoyed it :D
This was a really fun game. I really enjoyed the art style and cute sounds. I did have issue with phantom blocks not letting me move there or use the space. All in all, it was a great experience.
Glad you enjoyed it!
There's phantom blocks too?? I thought I did a pretty good job bug fixing but apparently not. Ah well, thanks for playing and giving feedback!
great game, really hooked me in! though snake moved backwards and killed me unfairly at the end... cheater snake!
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I've been told that the snake can just cheat at certain times, that's a bummer. I'd thought I fixed that bug but it somehow returned :(
Thanks for the feedback though!
Really fun game! I loved manipulating the snake's movement to make it take a longer route, though here it felt like the snake "cheated" (it has a path to go) which made me lose the run

I spent like 4 hours fixing this bug, and apparently it has somehow returned :/
Though I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Though you do have a ton of abilities left yet, so I'm assuming game was generally pretty easy to you? Well played!
Thanks for the feedback!
Very nice. Nice look and nice sounds. I made a 4x4 square, and the snake just circled for the longest time. Then it broke through. How does the breakthrough logic work? score 3600 :)
The snake breaks through if it cannot find a path to the player. Perhaps it got stuck with it's tail on the other side or smth and decided to do that? One other person did report it breaking through without reason, so it might've been a bug
Thanks for the feedback!
Really enjoyable puzzle. I like simple artistic style . There lot potential if you decide expand it further.
Glad you liked it! I'm looking to try out other projects right now, but I'll see if I come back to this idea later. Thanks for the feedback :)
Very nice game, Love the art style and the smooth gameplay. I really like it. Great job on the game and its concept.
Thank you!
Very cool style and a very engaging game!I really like it
That's great! Thanks for playing :D
this game is so good, I hope you make it to the top 5
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
It's a cute game with a good vibe. I like the concept and options given to the player to flee, and it is enjoyable to plan the game ahead. Only complain would be that the game is "too easy" as I quickly just entered a state where i was always at the opposite of the snake. Anyway it was fun and a great entry, good job :)
Yeah until your abilities run out you can pretty comfortably just stay away from the snake, but giving less abilities would make it impossible to play a longer game, and I sadly couldn't find a solution to avoid both problems. Thanks for the feedback and happy that you enjoyed it!
Love the art style. Very smooth. I like the gameplay a lot. I've found a few patterns that forces the snake to make 2 or 3 moves per block placed so you can just stay still and never get caught. Maybe a harder mode where the snake moves farther per turn or every few turns goes berserk and eats through all walls.
Glad to know that you liked it!
Yeah the game definitely isn't without it's flaws. Even though the scope was not big it was a pretty tough first project, so forgive my terrible coding letting in bugs xD
Cool ideas! I don't plan to work on this game more since I wanna try more projects but I'll keep that in mind for the type of features i should add to future games!
Thanks for the feedback :D
It' such a cute game ! Loving a lot the art ! It was clear to see what is happening with the snake moving step by step
It was very interesting discovering the ways you can bait out the snake and make it do more steps to reach you, and trying to keep the powerups for later more peculiar situations
I saw this complain in another comment but yea I'm clicking a lot to toggle things and I didn't had the possibility with the block icon xD
The art assets were mostly made by Naashit's Dev Stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it! Balancing the powerups was really difficult so glad to know it wasn't that bad.
Yeah I sadly couldn't get the toggling to work properly due to the way I structured it, even though it should really be a simple fix. Thanks for your feedback!
The art is very cute. The animations are smooth. But I don't understand how to play the other skills.
Some of the markers which show you where you can move have icons in them , which indicates that by moving there that item will be used. We originally planned for more functionality to be added to them which is why their icons on the side are just as big, sorry for the confusion!
had a good time. thanks! cute, iconic art :) this would scale really well on mobile!
Glad you enjoyed it! The credit for the art completely goes to Naashits Dev Stuff
The click only nature of this game does make it a good fit for mobile. Thanks for the feedback!
The art-style is really good.
Unfortunately at a certain point the game didn't work anymore for some reason.
Also I suggest you to give the possibility to deselect the blocks, because when you do you can't go back to "moving mode".
That aside it's a very well done game in only 3 days.
Pretty much all the art was done by Naashits Dev Stuff, glad to know you liked it!
That's a bummer :(
This was on the feature list, but I sadly ran out of time
Thanks for playing and giving feedback!
3900 points! I thought I was going to go much further, but I ended up without any power-ups to move ahead and trick the snake into taking a wider turn — in the end, it got me. Really well made, congratulations!
That's a great score! The powerups get more and more useful later on so it can be hard to keep them from running out. Glad you enjoyed it!
Fun turn-based game. The level of difficulty felt about right.
I liked the hand-drawn art style you used.
I got up to a score of 5500. Unfortunately, the game stopped working then (I think theres a bug where if you drag the shovel icon with no valid tiles and then let go of the mouse button, it's still your turn but there are no options for making a move).
Still, I enjoyed playing your submission. Bugs are to be expected in Game Jams!
Well done!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Pretty much all of the art was drawn by Naashit's Dev Stuff
That's a really good score! Honestly I have no idea what might be causing that, but ah well
Thanks for the feedback! :D
I'd say it's a pretty decent score! More balancing would've been done had the time allowed it, but alas.
Glad to hear you had fun! Thanks for playing and for the feedback :D
Wow this art is super cute and I love the game mechanic very unique and balanced. Overall great game!
If you get the time it would be awesome if you could give me some feedback on mine :)
Glad to hear you found it to be balanced! That was one of my main concerns
Thanks for playing!
I believe I already did play and comment on your game! Fun premise, I enjoyed it lot :)
