Yeah that last throw feels a bit like a buzzer beater in basketball where you're biting your nails waiting to see if it goes in 🫣

Thanks, we didnt realize how hard level design was going into this. Glad you liked it!

The last level felt like a big difficulty spike compared to the rest, but still fun!

Liked the music and feel of the game. The car felt good to drive. Gamepad worked great on the download (windows)

No worries. It was a great learning experience for me to push something "finished" out the door on a deadline.

Agreed I think that was one of the bigger shortcomings. Thanks for playing!

thanks for playing glad you had fun. :)

Yeah, the stats are probably too obscured (health, threat, talking) and visual indications would be a big help "feeling" the choice. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

Very nice. Nice look and nice sounds. I made a 4x4 square, and the snake just circled for the longest time. Then it broke through. How does the breakthrough logic work? score 3600 :)

Fun aesthetic. cute little snakes. After 3 choices, the cards bled off the screen. I had fun. It should have a lose state though. These snakes are some happy, hungry snakes.

Score of 40! Diagonal movement was a fun surprise, but it made hairpin turns harder. I kept hitting myself while trying to 180. Hit boxes were a little weird. There were times when I thought I had the apple, and then I didn't. Hard to exit. Had to terminate the program from Windows. Visuals were nice and clean. Music was cute and slightly...ominous.

Wow, color me impressed. I have no idea how something like this gets built. Intimidating start for a game but I beat a few levels. As it stands, it feels like hitting the arrow keys but with more steps involved. Made me think about Zachtronic games and what turns the "programming" into a puzzle, wish there was a bit of that here. Also fullscreen view was different than the embedded player. Seeing all of it could be nice to try and get all the way to the end in one go.

Wow there is a lot going on here. I have no idea what the poweups do. Also I don't know why I died. Thought I was eating the apple guy, and then I lost 3 segments. The quit and retry buttons didn't work for me at the end. Thanks for sharing!

Well that was funny. Genuinely made me laugh. The mushrooms are great. The movement is awkward in a good way. Does the K.O. message occur because I tackled the mouse? Also, I got stuck, thought you would like to see:

Love the snake on pogostick animation. Worked great for me. As others mentioned, some patterns to the snake movement instead of random would benefit. Thematically, a jumping mechanic for the player and snakes to skip tiles could be fun to explore.

Great look and sound! Excellent presentation.

I felt like it was easy if you just waited in the holes until the snake passed, but that made it tedious, too, waiting for all the snakes to take their turn. Maybe a turn limit would be nice.

Cool variation on snake. Splitting the snake is a cool mechanic too. :)
