Wow, This is an amazing game! But I dont understand why other people are calling it dark or creepy I though that it was a rather chill game! :D

The yellow-green stuff is wax, you have to deposit them by going near the central candle to increase the timer, maybe i couldve made this more clear.

Nice game! wouldve preferred that the shoot key was instead a held input instead of a press though.

Very fun game! The cards are great, it did actually felt that i could make builds and strategize with it, although it wouldve been nice to also have space as a jump input and the half-the-map wide attack is total bs.

ye, looking back at it the ladybug, heart (and probably others too) were probably some sort of symbolism given the fact that they a different color palette, But what I was more referring to is altering the mechanics as a form of storytelling (like maybe removing double jump as a sign of weakness or something like that), as I feel its more engaging when the player is actively feeling the emotion/struggles of the character.

This feels like a game I find in like a youtube video essay and not a jam submission lol. Seeing multiple different genres of games was a nice surprise though i wished that the story was more incorperated with the gameplay and not mostly just cutscenes but overall really cool game!

Neat Game! but the controls are a bit odd, it feels weird that there is a climb button that have to be held down climbing could just be triggered frome pressing up on a pole, and also where the next transition is, is unclear in some rooms.

Neat game! Very expressive artstyle. The platforming is nice but it felt like i walked off the platform too many times, some coyote time would've been nice.

Nice game! This is probably the first time I actually got scared (and not just startled) from a jam game lol.

Really fun game! having control remapping is very nice to have especially for someone like me who uses less conventional controls, despite being brief i found the story and world building quite intriguing and some rooms really nail that vibe (like that raining room) even with the limitations of a jam game. I also really like the fact that the player isnt immediately killed once the candle burns out, I might "borrow" that idea for my game 👀

Nice game! But i found that the game is really vague about its mechanics I got stuck in the first round for a couple minutes just because the game didnt tell me that I could collect multiple pieces at once. The game also doesnt really state how exactly sensitivity and durability works. I wish that the game was more clear on these mechanics.

The art is incredibly well made! but other than that the game and its story didnt really have that much going on to engage me with the characters. Not really a fan of visual novels so maybe this just wasnt for me.

Neat Game! and an interesting premise but maybe a tad bit difficult.

Neat Game! found a bug where if the last opponent dies to the potato the game becomes unwinnable cuz there would be no more chairs.

Nice & Polished game! though the game just doesnt provide any challenge past the first few waves.

Neat game! the visuals were nice, some acceleration on player movement would be nice. Also was alex saved? it felt like I just explored the caved and dipped lol.

Nice & Polished game! though the game just doesnt provide any challenge past the first few waves.

Very fun game! actually had to make me stop and think which is great for a puzzle game. Though I find that the little wax pellets are a bit annoying to control and the numbers on the weighed platforms too small to read, also it would be nice to know which thing opens which door before activating it.

Wow, this is such an incredibly well made game for a jam submission! one small nitpick i have over the game is that it felt a bit too hand holdy I like figuring things out on my own but the game sometimes feels like it gives clues too quickly (and half the time it gives clues to a puzzle i already figured out) one specific example is the barrel puzzle i would've preffered if the player had to connect the dots between the phrases "to become" and "a barrel" to get the cheatcode instead of just being given to the player. but still a very impressive game made in just a week.

Really fun game! loved the variety of enemies and weapons, incredibly well made for your first jam.

Neat game! reminded me of portal reloaded, though would've liked to see the mechanic developed further,

Neat game! i liked how certain enemies are stronger/weaker depending on the time period that you're in.

nothing gets me more nostalgic of the simpler times like massacring a horde of rabbits.

Sad to see that moving the tile the train was on doesnt also move the train. but overall nice game! couldve definitely used more levels though

Neat game! the controls could use some improvements but the game is pretty good for your first jam.

Fun and chaotic game! though i find that the small projectiles are quite hard to see when you are focusing on the mines adding a bit more contrast could help.

Really fun game! The movement was very well designed and the level design complimented it well.

Nice game! the physics is a bit jank and had some issues with floating trees but the game has good polish.

The attack felt a bit weird but still satisfying could use a bit more polish, but overall nice game!

Nice game, the art is really good! the game at its current state is quite simple but with some more work then this could be a really fun game.

If only making a friend irl is as easy as saying hello to them three times, I love the art its really cute and i found the dialogue quite funny, though for some reason i had to zoom in a lot to actually see the full game hope you find a way to fix this.

I think you were drunk on those 2 liters of apple juice you had like how do you come up with this.

Really fun game! I like how even the enemies are controlled by the turns, a little suggestion I have is to have the beat of the music sync to the steps of the snakes, its a small thing but it could help in intuiting the speed of the snakes.

Nice game, the art is great! If there are more mechanics introduced then I could see this be a really fun game.

theres not much to do in the game but its nice.

I used to make a game in geometry dash so i know how to use it to make assets and the other ways i know how to make art (shader art/pixel art) didn't really fit into the vision I had for the game, so with the help of a mod to export gd objects into an image geometry dash was used to make most of the art assets for the game. also its funny

nice game! it was fun strategizing about how to get the fruits, also maybe im missing something but there doesnt seem to be a penalty for drawing cards which i feel like it should have.

Nice game! We had a similar idea of using the snake's body for the cards. it'd also be nice if jokers act like wild cards (can be used as any part) with maybe giving less points to introduce some strategy to the game

Really fun game! I loved manipulating the snake's movement to make it take a longer route, though here it felt like the snake "cheated" (it has a path to go) which made me lose the run

Nice art! there is some layering issues i found when im fullscreened though
