Hi, thank you for playing! Dw about the kitchen ahah. To answer your question, everything was made in Picotron (the engine we used), that has an IDE, a spritesheet editor, a map editor and a sfx/music editor all built-in. The only thing we did not make are the instruments, because it's a lot of work and we don't really know anything about sfx and music

It's so nice to see a game made in Pico-8, we made ours in Picotron! It's a very very cool arcade game. The movement feels nice the art is very cute and the particles behind the floaty and the lines on the water to simulate it moving add a lot to the game (even if they are a small feature).
I got 955 after a couple of tries, however since there doesn't seem to be a max amount of objects thrown in the pool, you can just wait until the time is almost over and capitalize on the combo:

Thank you for playing the game! There is a ranged enemy but it spawns after some waves. The game is also 100% playable on controller, as Pico-8 supports it. If it looked like it wasn't registering the inputs, it's probably because of Itch, as it does that very often, regardless of the engine used. Usually reloading the page and/or unplugging the controller and plugging it back works.
I'm trying your game. This is mine: https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4699384
Finally a game I can play with a controller! I reached 1000m in Sunset. It does feel very relaxing to just run and dodge obstacles. Initially, while playing I was thinking that having the ability to jump would be neat, but maybe it would leave out the fun of being able to land on top of mushrooms and other obstacles by using ramps and small rocks.
Nice concept! I would have never thought of seeing a game where you use levers to put toppings on pizza but here I am ahahah. My only critic is that the game is a bit slow, but still it was good. Also idk if it was intended but the person speaking sounds like the Trenitalia announcer and I thought it was very funny
Very cool! We also thought of making a game like Beyblade at the start, but we ended making something very different. I like that you can customize your battle top, my only complaint is that the durability is too important compared to the other stats, but overall I found it very fun! Also the spinning sprites are really well made!
