This was super cute and I liked the approach to coloring!

Absolutely loved it. There's something satisfying about coloring the scene. But I will say I wished there were more scenes to color, and hopefully better hitboxes so I'm not accidently coloring the wrong thing. Lovely game though!

Ikr, my finger never felt so fat xD I had to delete some details because they were too small :,) thanks for playing!

The gamne looks pretty good and has good music but the gameplay is pretty boring, there is nothing to do. Also I'm wondering why fall is pink? Despite that the game has a good chance to turn into something interesting. Nice job in only 1 day!

A game with a simple but nice concept ✨
I would have liked to be able to pick between different colour palettes.
Also, it could be interesting to have a bit more contrast between colours or a wider range of choices because I think it can be difficult for people with sight disabilities to see the difference between the actual colour options. Otherwise, it is cozy and very cute, well done 🌈

That was lovely :)

That was really fun! I wish there were more levels so I could keep playing ^^ (maybe each with a different color scheme , e.g. a pond with blue and green tones etc.)

Developer

ohhh that sounds lovely!

This is a 5/5 game for me. I really really enjoy it. The mechanics is super easy to get, and I love how you could just click randomly on the screen and can still enjoy the fantastic artwork. The sound effects when you change the color is very satisfying.

I was wondering how you could get the more vibrant color in your screenshot actually, haha.

The game leaving me wanting to have more artwork that I can explore. Great job!

Developer(+1)

hahaha the screenshot is my original drawing, but the palette in-game is slightly different xD

awww thank you!

Hee-Ho. Very interesting and creative mechanics

That is really an excellent idea! Coloring on pc is sometimes such a pain. With just clicking and randomizing it is a breeze. Nice mechanic and great colors! Loved it!

The game feel is pretty good and I like the vibes. It could be fun to have more images to color.

Well done.

I'm not gonna lie when I first started the game I thought it would be kinda lame but I had a suprising amount of fun coloring that image! The effects feel great and you can really set the mood of the scene by changing the colors. Great work! Especially for one day <3

Developer(+1)

Not gona lie, you and me both sir xD then I started losing count of how many times I colored the entire thing while playtesting haha

Really cozy and relaxing little game. I liked clicking around and watching the colors change, it feels calm and pleasant. The sounds are nice too, they fit perfectly. I only wish there was a way to change the volume a bit. Still, really lovely idea and vibe.

Developer

oops, too loud?

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, it was a bit loud :)
Might be just on my setup, but I didn’t want to lower the whole system volume since I was still on a work call while playing😅

Developer(+1)

LOL  a work call xD

This was really creative and surprising! I really liked how it made the game more accessible. It could definitely be even more, but I think it was a really creative and accessible way to paint a drawing and discover it as we do it! Very beautiful.

thank you!

You’re welcome! I will develop a bit on the accessibility comment I made:

You could definitely make this a full game with lots of illustrations for children to play around. I would recommend that the clicking area has touch-targets large enough to see and interact with easily, you can take a look here at Xbox Accessibility Guidelines and their recommended minimum sizes (so you’d do that or more) https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/gaming/accessibility/xbox-accessibility-guidelines/107

You could also make a simplified version where the kids can click just the hat and change color but you provide already the hat with correct ‘shadows’ and light. This, made keyboard and screen reader accessible, would make kids with low vision or blind be able to paint their own as well. The cherry on top of the cake would be having an option to save and print it.

This absolutely has a massive potential.

For kids I’d provide some more vivid color options too.

There’s a website that kinda does this and it’s very inclusive: https://sinterklaasjournaal.ntr.nl/ & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRmk0joqdqg

Wow, lovely ideas! Unfortunately as an accessibility user myself, I wouldn’t be able to implement xD but please do feel free to use the idea 😄 if you want the code just lmk too ^^
