Ah by progression, I meant just getting to a higher level. I guess "rewards" like unlocking more weapons/new ways to play, or cosmetics, or some sort of light story would be enjoyable for me.

I didn't want to stop playing, but I have too many things to do lol
- Which Flippers feel/work better? Top or Bottom?
Bit confused by this question - they both seemed to work fine/about the same for me!
- Are there any elements you don't understand?
Was sometimes a bit confused about what certain upgrades did, especially the Love Goo. I assume the tea sparkles is just cosmetic, but I got them anyway lol. It was hard to tell whether I would spawn ghost orbs - the upgrade made it seem like every time the ball hits a flipper, I'd get a ghost orb, but I didn't always notice one, and I thought the new orb would be hittable/bounce around too, but I only saw a glowy purple orb that didn't seem to do much. I also haven't fully figured out how to utilize the shifting the board...
- Do you want to know more about certain elements?
I'd like to learn a little more about the characters and the setting, but it's optional! I'm already enjoying the game as it is.
- What is your opinion on the weapon choice?
I like them!!
- What is the thing/aspect you like most?
The atmosphere, vibes, very sparkly, and just very entertaining pinball. I could feel my lizard brain neurons firing. I think it is kind of addicting lol
- What don't you like?
Control-wise it felt a little hard for me to both press the pinball flippers and be able to shift the board (I'm playing on keyboard), but maybe that's a me problem or on purpose.
- How do you perceive the difficulty?
I think it is reasonable.
- Is the game fair?
I think mostly, yes. This might just be me being bad at the game but I felt like the space between the flippers is a little too big lol.
- Do you normally enjoy other Pinball or Survivorlike Games?
I usually only play pinball in-person so it's fun to have one I can play digitally! I liked Vampire Survivors a lot but normally don't find typical survivorlike games engaging.
That was a lot of fun! Beat the game.
- Was the game enjoyable? Could you imagine playing a longer version?
- Yes, I enjoyed it (felt good to play, I enjoy these kinds of games), and I'd play a longer version.
- Was the boss too hard/easy?
- The boss was pretty easy but it was still fun, actually.
- What was frustrating?
- I would have liked a reload button for the ammo that is shot with the spacebar! It was also sometimes a little unclear when an enemy had been defeated, so there was a bit of an unexpected learning curve for learning when enemies were defeated or not.
- What did you wish you could do?
- Mostly wanted a reload button. I'd like to see more kinds of enemies, and maybe some additional reward besides just score or progression (though that may be more my personal preference.)
Hello! Played for a few minutes with my mouse, but my hand/wrist hurt and I needed to stop haha. The controls seemed interesting and blowing things up with the laser was satisfying, but I think the controls need improvement (I wanted to be able to play this on my keyboard as an alternative). Aiming the laser was difficult. I also didn't feel there was any real downside to having my ship destroyed, so rather than bothering to try to land on the launchpad (which is quite difficult), I just let myself run out of energy and crash and restart. The helicopters didn't seem to do much damage to me, so I didn't really worry about them or bother too much to destroy them.
I feel like the main thing the game is lacking is a sense of progression. I assume the main point of the game is to try to get the fastest time, but because the controls are quite difficult and there are so many buildings to blow up, I feel bored after a little bit and not very motivated to clear everything. I feel like rather than having the game time how long it takes me to clear, I'd rather the game give me a limited time to clear as much as I can. That way, I feel like there is an end to the run, and I can go back and try to beat my previous score.
Hey! I really wanted to enjoy this but struggled to do so. I played through all of season 1. I found the art rather messy and was rather surprised, because from a distance/zoomed out, the art looks like it'll be really nice, but since I have a big monitor, once I set the game to full-screen, it became apparent that the background art is some sort of part pixelated, part filtered, part photoshop, part random brush strokes to cover something on the screen. I liked that the cards are animated, and the RenFaire theme is fun. The gameplay I found too easy and my choices inconsequential. I usually play fairly safe, so once I was 2 or 3 outrage away, I simply stopped drawing and was able to clear rounds pretty quickly; watching outrage was pretty much the only thing I paid attention to. Beating levels also didn't feel particularly rewarding for me. I never had to stop and read a card or really understand the game to do well. The tutorial was also riddled with typos and needs quite a lot of copyediting before any kind of demo goes up on Steam. Best of luck; I know it's a lot of downer feedback, but if you have a specific question, I'd be happy to answer.
This was quite fun and well-executed! I don't have any technical advice, but my main feeling was that I really wish I didn't have to right-click every few seconds; it didn't feel to me like it added anything to the gameplay, and was mostly a nuisance. I felt like I wanted to auto-revive. It was fun as a time-waster for sure. I feel like basically for it to gain additional replayability, there needs to be a challenge at some point. I would study Vampire Survivors since I think that is the type of "emotional arc" I think you are going for with this game. In Vampire Survivors, the game starts out pretty relaxed and easy and you get new types of weapons and upgrades as you "level up" because enemies drop loot (maybe in this case, exp comes from how many skulls you revive?); perhaps in this game, maybe you can pick the kinds of units you get and how much/what kind of damage the units do, rather than only randomly picking them up as they spawn. It was fun in this game to walk around but I didn't get to really choose what units I get, basically it was just a numbers game/making sure to quickly revive a strong unit once I defeated one. Hope that helps a bit!
Was very hard not to laugh out loud at this at 3:30 am when I played this lmao
Only feedback is that 1) I was rather disappointed that I could stack Daves on the gurney in the Plinko game, but could only put one in the ambulance at a time, and 2) Dave moved around a bit slowly in pinball for me; I would have liked if he was able to sometimes bounce around/fly around much faster, like normal pinball. Sfx, music, atmosphere is hilarious.
Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! In theory there is a d4, but you have to draw the card that lets you change one of the dice to a d4, and I haven't gotten around to the game simulating a deck, so the cards you draw are completely random, unfortunately. The lack of control is something I've heard from a few folks and will definitely need to think about, even if a little RNG is intended. I plan to keep working on this, hopefully less ugly next time haha.
