This game feels very polished. The visuals, sound effects and music make it a very satisfying experience. I also loved the level where the arrows give you directions and the last one is just lying. Mean, but in a good way xd

I would have appreciated WASD controls which would have felt a bit more natural to me but that's only a minor thing, great game!

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, the puzzles had a lot of problems, I totally agree. And I also agree about the dialog, especially in the beginning of the game, it's a bit much at once.

The art in this one is so cute! I also love the story, it really nails that cozy fall vibe.

I was kind of confused on what to do in the threading screen but when I found that you could thread the pearls onto the necklace from the bottom that was really satisfying. Maybe some sort of indication of how many pearls you need would have been nice, I had to look through the comments here to find that out. Also I noticed quite late that the pearls only count once they snap in place at the top of the string.

But those are only minor things. This is a great entry, good job! :)

Really simple but satisfying game. I love the broom walking animation xd Also the water animation is kind of a cool effect, maybe a bit daring mixed with the pixel art but I think it works. Overall good job! :)

It's a satisfying game for sure. I love that you can upgrade the size of tile destruction to a ridiculus level. There wasn't much variety, but in a 3 day game jam that's asking a lot. With a bit more time this could definitely be made into a game that sucks you in for hours.

I like the overall aesthetics in this on a lot. The music is also really fun and the mechanics are super straighforward and easy to understand.

There were a few things that could be improved, like the player being able to just leave the level at the borders or the tree trunks being a bit hard to distinguish from the ground at times. I would also like to hold down the mouse button to attack continously instead of clicking rapidly.

But all in all a fun and promising game! :)

This is definitely one of my favorites so far. The gameplay is super simple but the beautiful artstyle, music (so so good) and voice acting make it a really enjoyable experience. Good job!

The sprites and animations are super cute and all but the best part for me was the aerial movement. It was so good I wish it would be a proper parcour game. I think that could work super well. Good job!

I like the visual effects in this game, not quite like something I've seen before. The music is also super good and the animations are smooth. Good job!

It was actually! The artist and writer had their first experience with game development in general :)

I'm surprised this one isn't more popular. The visual aesthetic as well as the sound design create such a nice cozy ambience. The characters and animations are really cute too.

Also... is the ghost that looks like a pepper a ghost pepper joke? If yes, I LOVE IT xd

Thanks for the kind words!

And yeah you're right, it could be considered a cozy escape room :D

This game has a simple concept but the presentation is done super well. It's actually good for practicing vocabulary for non native speakers too xd

Thanks for the feedback! :)

I think we definitely didn't do a good job at communicating to the player what it is they have to do and how to do it exactly. It is a valuable lesson on truly assuming the players perspective and not taking for granted what you already know about the game as the designer.

Hey thanks! I tried my best to give it a new spin with the darkness being a mechanic to make it more difficult. I'm glad you liked it :)

Thanks for the input! :)

I agree with everything you said. For the antenna we should have made a better way to show the path, maybe a faint line or something. In general this jam was a great learning experience on the need to design puzzles to be more intuitive and give the player the quality of life features that make it feel more fair.

I'm surprised that this game isn't more popular. The aesthetics are so good! I really like the crt effect together with the artwork. The music is really good too and the polish is super impressive. The only point I want to bring up is that some objects are really small and therefore hard to identify. But apart from that I can't complain. Good job! :)

Really simple but really cute. I liked the sprites and overall aesthetics. There was definitely some mechanics missing that would have improved the game and wouldn't need that much time to implement, but with the limited time that's totally normal.

Thank you! ^^

The puzzle difficulty was probably to high, that's true. We kind of lost sight of how difficult the puzzles actually were after staring at them for hours :,)

Thanks for playing! And yeah, we love the little guy too xd

The arrows would have been a great idea. Either that or making the controls drag and drop.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! ^^

And yeah, the input system was definitely not optimal, which is a good lesson for the next time.

Cute! I like the art style and music, creates a nice vibe. The game loop is very simple but satisfying.

Super fun. This one is probably the coziest one I've played so far. The music and visual aesthetic really blend well together. The puzzles were the perfect difficulty in my opinion, not too hard, not too easy.

I really liked this one! The visuals were super fun and (in a good way) cursed sometimes. And the fact that there are multiple endings to this is cool too. Probably my favorite so far :)

Thank you! The limitited vision was definitely a core part of the game idea but I agree that it can be really frustrating at times. An Upgrade to increase the strength of the light source would have helped a lot. Also the part about getting stuck between enemies is really annoying, I didn't manage to fix that in time :,)

Such a calming and beautiful game. I really like the art style and minimalistic controls.

Thanks again for playing it on stream and giving us your feedback :)

(our artist almost had a heart attack since he can't deal with receiving compliments xd)

That was really fun! I wish there were more levels so I could keep playing ^^ (maybe each with a different color scheme , e.g. a pond with blue and green tones etc.)

So gooood! The gameplay is simple but super fun. And the polish in regards to artwork, animation, music and sound design is really astonishing.

Hey Lestavol! Thank you for your extensive feedback! :D

First of all I'm glad to hear that you liked the art in the game and our itch page! It was our artist's first game dev project ever and I think he did an amazing job.

To address the points you made:

  1. All things audio were simply victim to us not calculating time properly. We started working on audio wayyyy to late and even though I wanted to add some sort of ambient wind/rain audio playing from the beginning of the game we simply started tackling that too late (I didn't want there to be any music from the beginning because that would be specifically unlocked by solving the radio puzzle).
  2. The controls were something I just implemented as a simple placeholder to be replaced later. But since we obviously played the game a lot to test everything we go used to the controls and kind of forgot that they should be replaced by something better. A classic example of "Betriebsblindheit" (a german expression that basically means "being blind to the way things could be improved when working in a certain environment for a long time").
  3. The lack of feedback and indications on what to do in order to progress were something we noticed quite late. We originally thought that the puzzles would be pretty much self-explanatory, which didn't turn out to be true. I think it was a good lesson on really assuming the players perspective and laying everything down in a more clear and understandable way.

Once again, thank you for your feedback and good luck to you! :)

The art in this game is so beautiful it's insane. When I saw the main menu for the first time I thought to myself that this could just be a fully released game. Apart from that the narration was also really nice.

It took me quite a while to find the watch. Maybe that could be made a bit more obvious. But honestly all in all a really wonderful game :)

The artwork and sound design really create a nice vibe! The gameplay is fun too. I realized that magnet speed is kind of a bait because bigger objects started falling down again when moving the magnet up at that speed xD

Simple but fun. I liked the leaf scene transition, felt really smooth. The music and voice acting was good too. Maybe some complexity in the gameplay especially during later levels would have been nice. But then again in a game jam it's not easy to get everything done in time.

Super cuuute! The sprites of the capibaras chilling in different treatments were perfect. I don't have much to complain about with this game honestly. Just a great experience.

Thanks for the feedback! There is actually a speed update but I forgot to implement a vision upgrade which would have been super easy to do and also super helpful. And yeah, a mobile version would definitely make sense.

This one is so damn good. I can't wrap my head around how polished it feels, good job! I love the absolute minimalism of this game, with just one input and a very simple currency system.

I never really went for the agility option since after a round or two it's pretty easy to get it down concistently. Maybe with some sort of difficulty curve it would have made sense at some point to make the game easier with that upgrade.

But yeah, great gameplay, great artwork, great animations. great music, great game! :)

Super fun game! I love the music and artstyle. Also all interactions with the phone seem really polished which is impressive for a three day jam.
I gotta admit it took me a minute to understand that the clothing upgrades were basically upgrades, maybe a text message regarding that would have been nice.
But yeah all in all a super nice game and one of my favorites so far :)

Really cute, really cozy :)
It took me a minute to find the way outside of the house xD Maybe some sort of door sprite or other indication would have been helpful. But apart from that I love the aesthetic of the game. The music and art style fit together super well which is impressive since you guys are multiple artists if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks for the feedback! The point about the missing explanation is fair. We intentionally tried to make it as easy as possible for the player to understand what it is they have to do since we didn't want to have any sort of tutorial. But in the end product we maybe didn't make it clear enough with the narration. I'm glad you still liked it though! :)

Thanks for playing! ^^
