Very cool and solid mechanics. I liked how u managed to make beginning forgiving just by decreasing play space. And eventually you get more and more corrupted increasing difficulty in this kind of way, eventually creating positive loop. I would say that it imo snowballs way too quickly, eventually almost removing all choice from the player.

The risk implementation is really good imo, I like that you immediately get feedback on whether risk was successful.

Fun game! I managed to get to level 9. I do think there needs to be a way to mitigate corruption, because as it is it kind of feels impossible to not eventually lose, but I guess that's the idea. The art and the music are great as well! Overall, really good!

A fun game, I like the brown and teal aesthetic.

Drawing more corrupted cards when your corruption is high snowballs not in a fun way.

Otherwise interesting take on blackjack.

Super cool game loop and the cards reminds me of Onitama! It took me several levels to understand how the mechanic worked, but I enjoyed it! I liked that I had some control over my odds with the deck building aspect, would be interesting to see how else you guys expand on this concept :)

Great game! Love the visuals and the music. The theme is very interesting too.

This is absolutely amazing! I made it to level 10 so far. I wish there were some way to reduce your corruption. The sound and visuals work very well together. The game mechanics are also well-balanced for such a short jam. Congratulations on the great entry!

Very nice game, I'll be coming back to this to play some more when rating season is over :) well done!

Thanks! Let us know what high score you reach! :D

This game was so much fun! It took me a few minutes to understand the energy/corruption but once my hand got discarded I noticed the blackjack idea. The mechanics were fun and the better cards I got, the more safe I started to play. Great work!

Developer

Hopefully it didn't take too long to grasp the mechanics, but it looks like you got the hang of it! Playing it safe is def a good idea, I'm interested to see all the strategies people come up with for the later levels :)

There is so much depth to this game! Just when I thought I figured out the pattern, another twist was thrown in. That is good design right there.

Developer

That's very high praise, thank you!

I wasn’t sure if I quite understood what my goal was or how to best play, but this was still a very fun game!

Developer

Yeah, in hindsight we should have made it clearer lol. You have to get to the yellow tiles to move on the next level. It's an endless game so it's all about going for as long as you can. Thanks for playing!

Very fun game! I thought the deckbuilding worked very well, and there were a ton of interesting mechanics (flipped cards, corrupted cards, etc.) Well done!

Thanks for making this!

Developer

Thank you for playing! :D

I loved this one! The addition of spikes after level 5 were a nice touch. I busted during the tutorial lol

Feels so smooth and fun to play, nice work!

Amazing game! Loved how it constantly pushes you into risk with all its mechanics, so good.

Cool how every part of this has a push-your-luck mechanic. Lots to this game, well done.

Thank you! We tweaked the probabilities a lot and hopefully we ended up with something that is risky but still skill-based

Had a great time playing, the deckbuilding worked really well. Super polished for a week and definitely something that could grow bigger, well done!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm glad it felt polished, starting work on the ui a bit early helped a lot in that regard.

Wow, totally got me with it!
A really well polished roguelike deckbuilding, with a good difficulty curve, replayability, really really loved it, keep it up! :)

Developer

Thank you so much! :D
