Fun concept.

I found that the game needed a game-over screen because it was unclear at first why my score kept getting reset. Also I found it hard to tell if one of my dice was showing a 1, maybe a shader that surrounded it with flames would make it clear.

The 3d dice rolling felt good.

I had fun. Loved the aesthetic.

Maybe we could unlock more types of biscuits with our scrumptious points.

Cool game, but didn’t quite manage to work out the strategy to get past the first level.

I had fun running through ignoring all the guards.

Did manage to get stuck though:

Having towers constantly miss enemies when they are adjacent to them is annoying.

I do like tower defence games though.

A fun game, I like the brown and teal aesthetic.

Drawing more corrupted cards when your corruption is high snowballs not in a fun way.

Otherwise interesting take on blackjack.

Much easier than the real thing.

Game did not fill the whole window for me. image.png

Has promise.

Interesting concept.

Interesting game.

I found that clicking on targets rarely hit when I expected it to.

You have some nice visuals.

It felt counter-intuitive to need to kill all the enemies in each level to progress when it cost health to attack. Maybe you only need to get to the end, but killing enemies would make it easier doing so without getting hit.

The platforming felt nice.

Fun game.

It might be better to make the objective box/spheres more easily seen - perhaps particle effects or an opaque outline around the volumes.

I thought the game was keyboard only. You probably shouldn’t assume the player will know much about anything. Adding a list of controls to the itch page should remedy this.

I found the artwork quite pleasant.

I was a bit confused if I was adding cards to my deck or my opponents deck.

Also a list of what cards are in each deck might help, I couldn’t formulate a strategy for how many cards I wanted to flip over.

The opponent choosing what cards to flip was also slow.

Nice job with the sound effects and animations though.

I liked the voice acting and that each character has their own pictures when thinking. But the game felt a bit slow.

The visual aesthetics of the game are nice, but I don’t understand how to play. I just press all the ingredients without the thumbs-down.

It would be nice if it was clearer that the run ended when I lose a hand.

A good implementation of blackjack nonetheless.

I really liked the pixel art.

I accidentality went left on the second screen and fell out of the world.

I restarted the game and got stuck again. image.png

I soft-locked a third time when I accidentality went back a room and the guard sees me instantly.

The gameplay was fun, I’m a fan of tower defence games.

One gripe was that choosing what wave modifiers to add was a bit too much guesswork. I would have liked to know the base stats of the next wave and the total stats of the next wave after the modifiers I’ve chosen.

Its fun watching the skeletons shoot each other.

I liked how the dough changes how it looks based on its upgrades.

You really need better inform the player about what is going on.

  • The battles are confusing, when are the characters attacking, how much damage are they doing and how much health they have?
  • The shop does not explain how much things cost and the current health of my dough-man.

Still, I wanted to bake then eat him 😋

I liked the visuals of the game, you made a decent shader.

The gambling mini-games felt like they - at best - had an expected value of 0, so that by playing them I wound up with about the same amount of chips. The only game then that was a net positive was the dishwashing - which was really discouraging as the bid on the auction went up faster than what I was earning.

The intro movie was quite fun.

Excellent game 🎉

I like the idea that the falling objects can hurt the enemy.

However it took me too long to work out how to swing the sword.

It would also be worth checking out platformer-toolkit.

I hope that you stick with game-dev and become an awesome programmer.

Maybe have a minimum distance away from the spinner might, it was annoying trying to regain distance when I missed a jump. Otherwise it was fun.

Sound design was fun.

Nice

Found a couple bugs:

  • Managed to have a item slot but was unable to fill it, I think it was due to having to bins.
  • A freeze, probably due to having a Lucky 7 image.png image.png

Also getting a choice of the same prize twice is not good.

Keyboard is backwards! Shelves are too small to fit any of the wheels.

I had fun never the less.

Fast forward button please.

How much do I need to collect?

I feel there wasn’t any coyote time.

Please make the collection sound quieter or at least a mute button.

The game can be completed without charging the lasso, also felt running up to the cow was quicker than charging the lasso.

Nice game.

I didn’t have fun being punished for not completing the level in less than 10 seconds or spikes appearing out of nowhere.

I missed where I could see how much science I had. Other wise interesting concept.

Cute dogo

I can only turn right? Nothing spamming space bar three times cannot fix :P

It wasn’t obvious that you needed both taters on trapdoors. I don’t really understand how the “command” system works, how to get taters to stop on trapdoors. It seems that it sometimes goes back levels.

Voice acting was a fun touch.

I like the idea, but sometime I die at the end of a level. The upgrades button does not work.

Sound effects are good. I don’t see how the idle and snake aspects connect though.
