How does the game fit the theme?
You play as a cat making biscuits, and you're risking your way through a crazy racing track while also snacking on biscuits which makes you go faster, which also makes things even more risky.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We made everything except for the psx shader we're using and the leaderboard.

This was so intense that I was actually tired at the end :D This game looks and sounds amazing and is so fun to play!
Super great looking and sounding game. The controls were hard to learn at first when it came to drifting, but then I hit the sweet spot in terms of speed where you NEED to drift in order turn and I was in peak flow state. Then I grabbed one biscuit too many, and I was going too fast to make the turn every time lmao. Definitely needs tighter controls, but other than that, a fun high-intensity racer! Great job!
Fun idea but the controls feel kind of weird, fell off the map several times. Also the bushes have no collider it seems.
The best driving game I’ve ever played! Feels so like Mario kart and the chaotic nature of combo drifts, all around Wonderful game :D
Loved it!! Music changing with each lap was absolutely amazing, visuals are incredible and gameplay was so satisfying! It's a pity there's the clipping problem, but for one-week project? Amazing. Congrats to all the team! I hope you keep working on this game because it's so worth it!
I loved playing this. Cute retro graphics reminded me of N64 era. Lovely submission to the jam!
I was SUPER impressed by the music and the speedups after laps really made each lap feel unique. I did find it particularly difficult to resume racing at a few checkpoints. I love a good leaderboard too, it gives more replayability! Overall excellent entry!

It's very thoughtful for you guys to respawn the player when they hit themselves totally into the bushes. I'm not good at car racing game and has 3D motion sickness but your game makes me want to retry over and over again. Nice work!
This game is incredibly cute! You guys did an amazing job with the art. By far one of the best looking games I've seen in this jam. The gameplay is really fun and the element of risk is implemented really well! The audio was nice, but I think I've encountered a bug where the music wasn't playing? The game was great regardless! You've all done an amazing job with this game.

third lap was the most stressful fast paced lap ever but being able to jump and drift really helped the gameplay and even advanced the stearing alot!

The game art style is really cute, although the gameplay does feel too slippery
1st place winner here (72.1 sec, for now)! This game is AWESOME. I loved how biscuits were placed behind all the risky shortcuts, which made finding all the optimizations super satisfying. And the controls were a great blend of chaotic and tight which it made me want to keep playing to try to master them. Making it easy to fall off was frustrating at first, but at a high level you're really risking it for the biscuit to take those shortcuts, so it works in my opinion. Amazing art style and music as well! This is definitely my favorite game of the jam that I've played so far, and I'd love to see this expanded with more maps!
