How does the game fit the theme?
There is a main game timer in which you must beat the game before it runs out. You can speed up the game, slowing down the game timer, or slow down the game and increase the speed of the game timer. Take a detour to get an item or speedrun right to the boss room? Whatever it takes to get to the cheese :3

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All assets were (very painfully jajaja) made by hand. Huge credit to Eferme, who did all of the character animation (in a very short time period).

I had fun!

I never took any damage so not sure if I'm really good or that was a bug.

I had about 3:15 remaining, not sure how other people got through so fast.

I recommend more feedback (like the sprite flashing white) when a character is hit instead of just the health bar going down.

This was fun!  I think the tradeoff you presented was very clever, it took me a sec to grasp why it wasnt superior to just be in slow mo all the time.  Also nice art!

Gimme the cheeessseee! Super fun, would be cool if there were different difficulty ratings as well for enemy health / dmg. Neat idea on the theme tho!

Cool art, and a nice old Zelda-like dungeon game, but I completely missed the time mechanics (I haven't 123 on my keyboard and just smashed through all enemies until I found the cheese).

The character seems very little compared to the environment and the sounds were a bit repetitive (a background track would have helped I guess).

Also, I think I wasn't affected by the spikes, but I like that enemies could be hurt by them.

Very cool idea of time manipulation as core mechanic. Game was very enjoyable, art is cute, storyboards at the start tell everything about game. Keybinds at the start of gameplay were a nice touch. Unfortunately I had many problems with time manipulation, because it would be so slow that my movement is reversed or so fast i go from side to side of screen in 1 frame, maybe a skill issue, but still, great levels and gameplay for this short time period.

Everything was nice and sweet until I started competing with the leaders (the top 1 in the table is a complete nutcase).

I actually added a leaderboard as a last minute addition because my sibling (Rebel) was obsessed with speed running the game when I had her playtest it LMFAO! Thank you so much for playing :)

really fun and interesting game, very nice art, sound design, and the gameplay is binding of isaac esque in the best way possible! cant wait to see what these guys do next!

Interesting concept, I just wish there was a UI element that better indicated what tempo you were on. Great job!

Thank you for playing and the feedback :DD! We did had a lot of questions on that part of the UI, especially since having the Keys being 1, 2, 3 being correlated to 0.5, 1, and 2 respectively felt a little weird jajajaja.

The Time control element is really cool because it makes you rethink: do I want to speed up to lose less time, but take more damage, or vice versa? Overall, nice game.
