Normally not a fan of this style of game, but you guys pulled it off pretty well! My only criticism would be that the player was sometimes too offset from the camera centre, so I was able to dodge enemies that came from offscreen in time while I was moving. Other than that, the music and visuals are pretty good, the powerup system works really well, and weaving around enemies was really addicting XD Great job! :D
Pretty fun, but the gameplay got a bit repetitive after a while (not sure if there was a progression system?). I'd also love to see the people I pushed fly off the pier and land in the water rather than just disappear >:D Otherwise, it was pretty enjoyable and the newspaper intro + story was a nice touch :D
Really fun idea! Finding out I could jump was a game-changer (don't know how I missed it in the first place) XD. Only criticism would be that the connections would vary in length (and generally get longer), meaning that logs were piling up on the other side! Other than that, great game, good theming and I'd love to see this get expanded on in the future :D
Loved the aesthetic and theming, and the gameplay is pretty good! My only complaint is that I struggled to think of any words before the hint appeared as the only direction that was given was the animal, meaning that I was just waiting for the hint to appear each time (maybe giving the total score of the letters could help?). Other than that, the core idea is fun and the sound design and graphics are well implemented. Great job! :D
I really like the aesthetic and theme interpretation but for the life of me I could not get a hang of the controls and the perspective T-T (although that could be because I'm trying to play on a laptop). Really, really good idea for a game, just wish there was a better indication of what I'm doing :D
