How does the game fit the theme?
the game incentivizes risking another roll in order to earn cookies (biscuits, as i've heard them referred to as. idk i'm american). you can either play it safe and lose, or run the risk and have a shot at winning.
playing against a cat in the void has nothing to do with the theme but i've always wanted to do it

I really liked the visuals and music. They work together really well and give the game a nice atmosphere. The idea is simple but engaging. I think it could be even more fun if there were some additional elements introduced during the gameplay. Still, it’s a lovely project and I really enjoyed playing it! :)
agreed, and had some ideas planned (such as occasional chips you can earn to change your wager or force a specific roll for yourself or your opponent) but cut them pretty late in the jam to focus on "polish" and presentation. also, love your game and rated it accordingly

A huge vibe, I really love the art style. The game is simple but engaging, somehow i almost felt bad trying to win against the cat, he looks like a cool buddy.
I did have an issue after losing the game on web version once, where the numbers would stack on top of each other from then on as if there were 2 overlays with 2 sets of games/numbers, until i refreshed with shift+f5.
thanks for playing! i did notice that happening rarely upon launch but couldn’t recreate it consistently and it was so rare that i didn’t worry about it. i’ll try and see if i can figure out the cause if i have time before it locks. i assume the scene is getting created twice somehow but i’m not sure. also I saw your game in the discord last night and really liked how it looked! i’ll be sure to play it here in a bit
update: turns out that is what it was! i wasn't destroying the trigger that instantiates the main scene until after the fade out animation is finished, so double clicking the startup screen would lead to two instances of the game running at once. easy fix, just had to think about it harder. i’ve pushed an update to fix it

Nice little game! I really like the take on the theme, having to take risks with a mix of dice and blackjack :). Gameplay-wise, it's pretty simple, but enjoyable, and the graphics and general atmosphere is awesome. Congratulations!
