Hey there, I really enjoyed your cute little game! You have a true talent for drawing! I've recorded my playthrough and gave some honest feedback by the end of it, you can check it out here if you want to:

All I can say here is:

Keep up the good work!

Sorry for the delay in my answer. Well, the only thing that worked was planting the first 2 plants and the day/night cycle, so it's hard for me to say what exactly didn't work as, well, nothing else did.

I've recorded my session so you can see it for yourself if you want to:

Staircase of leaves

When I first launched the game I went up the stairs, found an elevator, went up the elevator a couple of times and closed the game because I thought that "hey, it's just about going up the elevator. What's so fancy about it?" Well, I'm glad I decided to give this game another shot because then I found negative floors right off the bat...

This is truly a wonderful surreal experience that's unfortunately not for everyone. This is about exploring and inhaling the eerie and weird atmosphere, an interactive painting so to speak. Still, it's a interesting game that's definitely your time. Can't wait to see the full version!

Keep up the good work!

Hey there, I covered your game and gave some honest feedback here, feel free to check it out:

Overral there's a lot to improve here, but it's great that you started your gameDev journey. The first, hardest step is already past you.

Keep up the good work!

Th-the capibaras... they're evil!

Interesting little game.

No problem, always glad to help!

Damn, maybe I should've just kept Stan around...

Amazing little experience, the atmosphere was top notch from start to finish! Not many "horror" games on this site manage to actually scare me, but you managed to do that, great job! I played your game and gave you some honest feedback in this video, feel free to take a look:

All I can say here is that you've made a phenomenal job!

Keep up the good work!

Hey there!

Congrats on making a video game! Even if it's just a prototype, making the first step is what really counts.

I've played your game and gave a little bit of feedback! You can check it out here:

Plants vs bugs

Gosh, the concept for the game looks hella interesting. It's really a shame that nothing in the game actually works. Hopefully you'll be able to fix all of the issues so that people can experience this brilliant idea!

Keep up the good work!

Amazing little project! Scaring off as many people as you can is really satisfying damn, that doesn't sound so good... once you meet all of them and learn their "weak spots". The short run time makes it very replayable and enjoyable: you can try to beat that high score of yours as much as you want, you won't snap out of it several hours later after only a few attempts!

Overral, great game!

Keep up the good work!

I think I should be greatful that I was deemed a candidate. Can't wait to finally get rid of my eyes, having them has been a real chore...

Charming little horror experience, you managed to create a really unsettling experience, well done! Can't wait to see the full game on steam!

Keep up the good work!

Charming little game, congrats on finishing it! You guys have potential as a team, never give up, don't stop improving and I'm sure one day you'll make a truly beautiful game.

Keep up the good work!

Charming little game, you've clearly put lots of passion and effort into it! Graphics look amazing and music creates a very good atmosphere. My only suggestion as of now would be to set the events that are supposed to move during cutscenes to maximum frequency to avoid them "catching a breather" after each step. Also, you can make them move at the same time by putting all of their route commands one after another, but only checking the "wait for completion" option on the last route, which should preferably be the longest. Overral, there's amazing potential here, don't ever give up!

Keep up the good work!

Yep, it works. I'll play the game later and provide some feedback.

No problem, always glad to help.

Dang, the game crashes on launch because it can't load some kind of png file. The project looks really interesting though and I'll definitely play it once the problem is fixed!

Interesting project, you're going in the right direction. Sound design is definitely the best aspect of this game, both the groans and ambient create a really nice atmosphere, though the groans were a bit too frequent (and the spiders jumpscare is pretty uncalled for and becomes annoying after it appears 2 times. Maybe instead of making it pop out of nowhere add a cabinet search mechanic and make the spiders a thing that can be found inside them.) The upstairs area definitely builds up some kind of mystery that I'd like to see develop. There are some technical issues I wanted to point out so that you could improve the project:

- By going up the stairs on the 2nd floor with the pentagram I was sure that I ended up on the 3rd floor. I was pretty confused when walking up again took me back to 2nd floor. The stairs that go down shouldn't have a sprite of stairs that go up.

- When going through a door or climbing the stairs the player character should freeze after touching them.

- Every furniture feels so... big compared to the protagonist.

- I couldn't find 2 keys. I searched the entire map 3 times and still didn't find them. I ended up accidently finding out that saving saves the amount of keys collected, but doesn't save the keys' picked-up state, so I just reloaded the game 2 times and collected the same key three times.

Overral the game has potential to be good, just don't forget to add some sort of compelling plot.

Keep up the good work!

Just played yours and really enjoyed it, great job!

Very solid RPG with intriguing story, I really enjoyed it!

Keep up the good work!

Hi, if you're still going to stream games then it would be awesome if you give mine a shot: https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2025/rate/3965712

Hope you enjoy it!

Hi, if you're still doing this then it would be awesome if you play my game https://itch.io/jam/scream-jam-2025/rate/3965712

It's a little horror game about exploring a hostile environment and managing pretty sparse amount of resources you find along the way.

Hope you enjoy it!

Nice little platformer. The only issue I had while played was the camera which would always show the world from weird, uncomfortable angles. Other than that the game is very good, great job!

Keep up the good work!

Nice little builder game, it definitely has potential to be further improved. Both the music and artstyle created a nice atmosphere.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I was kind of aiming for the unknown battery life to be an additional scare factor, as in the player would be worried how much light they have left and whether they'll be able to find additional batteries on time.

Thanks for playing!

Nah, it's 90% game's fault. I have to experiment more and learn how to properly make web builds, so it's highly probable that the resolution is bugged. Thanks for giving the game a shot!

Well, it might've been a bold move from me, but I was aiming for the uncertainty of whether there's a limited battery or not to be an additional tension factor for the player to worry about.

Thanks for playing and providing some feedback!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere!

Thanks for giving it a shot anyway. I'll definitely look more into why those bugs happen in the web version

Thanks, I'm glad you liked the atmosphere of the game

Thanks for playing and leaving some feedback!

Thanks for the feedback. It was my first attempt at making a web build, so I wasn't sure how it would turn out. I'll definitely do my best to improve it  in  the future

Oh, wasn't expecting anyone to actually get so far or even attempt to finish the game at this point XD Thank you so much for giving the game a go!

And, yes, the voice lines happen later ;)

Really well done game with engaging gameplay and narration. The graphics are also top notch here.

Keep up the good work!

Very well polished and atmospheric project, I really enjoyed it!

Keep up the good work!

Damn, can't even hide a body without someone pestering me every five minutes...

Amazing game! I can't believe that you haven't gotten any ratings or comments yet, you deserve more recognition! This game is a delightful visual novel with a lot of cool moments.

Keep up the good work!

This game has a really interesting and promising concept that could be really well expanded. Everything is nice as it is, but some more polishing and more feedback for the player (especially to let them know whether they hit THE VOID or not) would make the game a lot more enjoyable.

Keep up the good work!
