What a cool game ! So nice to see this old school pc vibe. The concept is spot on, the visuals are super nice, fluid simulation is top notch. All that's left is really quality of life and onboarding. Have a few tutorials or a quick text for items would have been nice, especially when experimenting (which could be a very fun part) is "punished" with no restart button (unless I missed it ?). But still very cool, would love to see this expanded into a bigger game !

Developer

pressing escape will exit the current level, I should probably have made it a button on the screen though.

I will give you a perfect rating for this one! I wasn't sure at the beginning but it completely blew my mind when I got it. It may not be a revolutionary concept, but it's very well executed! Very cool! It's kinda like that old game where you have to build safe paths for the little guys. A bit old for my time, but I heard of it through talks. And here it was boiled down to two pixel blobs! Well done!

I really liked the visuals, both the stylization within the 64x64 px restriction, as well as the under-the-hood physics fpr both navigational and environmental elements!

the UI was elegant, tho a part of me wished to have had names for the items in-game before using them for the first time. overall, there's small areas of polish to nitpick at, such as diagonal panning in top left, esc to exit clashes with fullscreen, a fast forward and pause option and only moving the camera when the window is focused

but those are all small bits of polish that's not needed inside a game jam and really nitpicky

I wanna emphasize that I fundamentally really enjoyed my time with destructlings andits puzzles!!

The fluid modelling is awesome, I’m really impressed.

That was fun. Kinda like Lemmings meets Mortol.

Nice variation on lemmings, water physics is really cool addition. The only flaw I can imaging is music feels a bit too repetitive when you are past half pf the levels, given that it is composed in a way to bring anxiety. Otherwise, solid good job!

a kind of little pocket lemming, the fluid management is really impressive, well done for that

Good concept, the water/lava physics are impressive. I wish there was a way to restart levels though.

Interesting game idea! reminds me of falling sand game. i think a fast forward would be good, but regardless it's a fun experience. Interesting that you can also play this game with just the mouse, i think WASD would be appreciated for camera movement because it does feel a little difficult to control the camera.

Quite a good idea for the game. The sandbox world is always cool! Also, the physics of water in pixels looks very interesting. I would like to separately note the control of the viewing area by moving the mouse to the edges of the screen, this is very inconvenient. WASD is very much lacking

Good job, good way of handling the speech, I liked the level design.

Fun game, I especially like the simulated-sandbox feel. My only nitpick is that it would be nice to have a fast-forward button, for when you have successfully carved a path for your destructlings. Otherwise, good job :)
