Interesting game idea! reminds me of falling sand game. i think a fast forward would be good, but regardless it's a fun experience. Interesting that you can also play this game with just the mouse, i think WASD would be appreciated for camera movement because it does feel a little difficult to control the camera.

Very early in development, I think the idea is neat but it needs work because it's very buggy; The green sparkle action (i think this is meant to be heal?) crashes the game for me; The goblins cannot be evaded AFAIK; you can change the health sliders by clicking on them, which breaks the game sometimes too. I like that you've thought of building systems into the game - presumably you would be able to choose other weapons and fight multiple enemies, but for a jam i think its too ambitious.

My bad, the web version should be scaled up now and the windows version will start maximized. The game only renders at 64x64, so I've just scaled the viewport up a bit. Once LOWREZJAM2025 jam's voting period is done i'll probably change the resolution anyway.

Sent you a dm on disc!

Seems unfinished sadly, i got out of the first room but couldn't figure out what to do in the hallway :// but the art is good!

- Great sound and voice acting

- Cool lore and unique concept- extremely atmospheric

- Interesting camera angles

- Maybe the best game here

Really enjoyed my time playing this!

I liked the theming of this game, it reminded me kinda of the shining with the claustrophobic trapped in a mansion vibe. wish the textures and art direction were a bit more consistent, and it is a shame about the lack of animations. Played it 3 times, unfortunately got trapped by the fly guy and couldn't escape. Hopefully you and your team keep working on it.

Loved the music throughout, and voice acting is cool.

However, I don't think this game was very scary, other than the theming there isn't a lot of tension.

The gun and shooting is great in this game, loved the dense atmosphere and it kinda fits both themes. great work!

Quite difficult! I had a great time playing it and it has to be one of the best looking and feeling games in the jam, extremely polished and the animations are perfect.

Love that we got a story based game in the jam, and the frog walk cycle is so cute hahahaha

great work!

no worries! forgot to mention but i love that the tongue drags the flies back to the frog when they're caught, such a good detail

oml the sfx make it so good, great work! game feels pretty responsive. wish there was an option to make the custom cursor size a little smaller but i still had fun! got 55 on sharpshooter so i am kinda the aim god around these parts B)

Very difficult!!! But i managed to catch a dragonfly after a couple attempts. not sure if this is a chrome issue but the hitboxes were a little off.

pretty fun, love that each stage of the frog feels like it moves differently. I got stuck on froglet though because the game would only spawn flies which i couldn't eat. will play again if it gets fixed!

game doesn't seem to work for me, menu is fine but in game its just a whitescreen :/// shame because the lil toots model in the cover image is so funny

the movement is so cool in this game w the grappling, wish the player was a bit easier to see but i loved how swampy it looked!

cute little rage game, quit when I lost my progress

Thanks! Wish i had one more day, just never got to that stage 🫠

Dear boss of jam,

I hope this message finds you well.

I would like to propose the creation of a Discord server to facilitate discussions about games. I believe this would provide an excellent platform for collaboration, idea-sharing, and engagement among like-minded individuals.

Please let me know your thoughts on this initiative. I would be happy to assist in setting it up if needed.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Kind regards,
Jeb

pretty good i love td if

its so cute, imagine having this on real hardware like a tamagotchi... the art is really nice and i hope in the color version there is some audio too! i agree with the other commenter about having a minigame, but finding a minigame that wouldn't feel repetitive is gonna be tough.

Playing this game late at night was a mistake, was so anxious about the fictional family i met 5 minutes ago and my poor wife did not make it ;-; loved the sprites and overall vibe of the game, but the SFX is a bit much and the game feels a little slow.

Honestly the different scaling on the visuals and the intensely patterned backgrounds give a really nice crunchy aesthetic to the game that would be hard to replicate organically. I appreciate the cutscene at the start too. The music was a bit repetitive but I liked it, kinda reminded me of geometry dash music

Very clever and zen. The bitcrushed//chiptune sounds fit the retro 1-bit aesthetic perfectly and gives a whole extra layer of polish to the game. 5 STARS!

I played this game twice just to see what happens if you don't do the steps right, even though i knew what was gonna happen i still got scared lmao. Super original game and I'm glad we got a 3D entry into the jam!

Love how the game looks and feels, the cutscene at the beginning is great and really sets the tone for the game.  We love a bit of lore
