Interesting game idea! reminds me of falling sand game. i think a fast forward would be good, but regardless it's a fun experience. Interesting that you can also play this game with just the mouse, i think WASD would be appreciated for camera movement because it does feel a little difficult to control the camera.

Very early in development, I think the idea is neat but it needs work because it's very buggy; The green sparkle action (i think this is meant to be heal?) crashes the game for me; The goblins cannot be evaded AFAIK; you can change the health sliders by clicking on them, which breaks the game sometimes too. I like that you've thought of building systems into the game - presumably you would be able to choose other weapons and fight multiple enemies, but for a jam i think its too ambitious.
I liked the theming of this game, it reminded me kinda of the shining with the claustrophobic trapped in a mansion vibe. wish the textures and art direction were a bit more consistent, and it is a shame about the lack of animations. Played it 3 times, unfortunately got trapped by the fly guy and couldn't escape. Hopefully you and your team keep working on it.
Loved the music throughout, and voice acting is cool.
However, I don't think this game was very scary, other than the theming there isn't a lot of tension.
Dear boss of jam,
I hope this message finds you well.
I would like to propose the creation of a Discord server to facilitate discussions about games. I believe this would provide an excellent platform for collaboration, idea-sharing, and engagement among like-minded individuals.
Please let me know your thoughts on this initiative. I would be happy to assist in setting it up if needed.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Kind regards,
Jeb
Honestly the different scaling on the visuals and the intensely patterned backgrounds give a really nice crunchy aesthetic to the game that would be hard to replicate organically. I appreciate the cutscene at the start too. The music was a bit repetitive but I liked it, kinda reminded me of geometry dash music
