A great twist on the classic snake formula! Turning the staple genre on its head, love the crt visual and all the glitchy eerie vibe, reminds me of Pony Island a bit.
I especially love the wrapping screen effect, I can only imagine how hard that is pulled of in just a few days, overall great job on this!
The game is really beautiful and unique. I loved it! I also really liked the visuals.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it and liked the graphics!
This was great! I really liked the aesthetic choices of making the start/end screens part of the gameplay as well as having the character visible in different areas of the screen. I was really pleasantly surprised by the levels where the duplication effect factored into gameplay, too. My only point of feedback would be the audio mix--I found the sound effects to be pretty loud compared to the music. Really nice job--I had a great time playing!
Thanks for the feedback! Audio mixing is something I've struggled with in the past, and I definitely agree that many of the sound effects (mainly the synth noises) are a bit too loud. Thanks for playing and rating, I'm glad you enjoyed!
We have the same name but completely different concepts, this is what's great about this game jam, Really enjoyed playing your game~ the visuals are simple yet the game feels so polished, Great idea and well execution, Great job Keep it up 🙌
I wholeheartedly agree! Thanks for playing and rating, glad you enjoyed!
Simple idea that's well executed and polished. The visuals are very clean! Great job
Thanks! Glad you liked the polish and the visuals, since I spent a lot of time on those!
I love the visual!
Thanks for playing! I spent a lot of time on the graphics, so I'm happy to see you enjoyed those!
Interesting take on a snake inspired game, I can imagine some interesting puzzle levels arising from this mechanic of having to reach your own tail to complete it. Some of the levels were quite difficult, and it was enjoyable.
Thanks for playing and rating! Glad you enjoyed!
The design of this game is something else, truely a professional approach!
Thanks! Can't say I've ever had one of my games called "professional," so that means a lot to me ;D
Great game! Loved the design of the ouroboros!
Thanks! Glad you like it!
This is one of my favorite ouroboros themed games from the jam. The aesthetic is really cool, kinda reminds me of Rainworld. Controls feel good, the levels were cool!
The rainworld comparison means a lot to me, since I really love that game's visual style :D Glad to be one of your top Ouroboros games, thanks for playing and rating!
Really creative way to mix the theme with snake! Loved the visuals by the way, cit really makes the game unique :)
Congrats on the submission!
Thanks for playing! I'm happy you liked the visuals, since that's something I spent a lot of time on this time around!
Interesting how with the same theme, idea and even vibe we managed to make such different games.
I really enjoyed my time with your game, thanks
Glad you liked it! One of my favorite parts of game jams is that people can make wildly different games from the same idea, so it was cool to see that in action with both our games ;D Thanks for playing and rating!
This is a pretty cool idea and an awesome execution. I liked the fact that you don't have to get EVERY apple in the scene to loop, the level design concepts were interesting as well.
I always tried to add an extra 1 or 2 apples to the scenes, since my playtesters (friends and family members) sometimes struggled with one specific apple, so I thought I would give them some more options to win! Anyways, thanks for playing and rating, I'm glad you liked it!
that was the better game ive seen so far, prety briliant the ouroboros aplication 5/5 :0
I feel very honored to be one of your better games you've seen :D Thanks for playing and rating!
The style is great! I also just love the concept of Ouroboros, and I'd say you used it in a really cool way :)
Thanks! I did my best to stand out from the dozens of other ouroborus games on the market, so I'm glad you think I succeeded ;)
Neat game, I like the looping level mechanic and the visuals!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
Really liked the visuals, animations are very smooth.
I spent a lot of time on some of the visuals and animation, so I'm happy you liked them! Thanks for playing + rating!
Really great visuals. I enjoyed the twist/realization
Glad you liked my spiffy graphics! Thanks for playing!
Very enjoyable. I like the take on the classic snake where the apples are just means to an end.
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for playing and rating!
Good controls, nice visuals and audio. Its so trippy when you realize that its not infinite board but just looping stage
Thanks! Half of development was just spent getting the looping stage effect to work, so I'm happy you liked it!
