Fun concept! Really loved all the background solar system art!

How does your game fit the theme?
We made a game about fixing the orbit of planets. Orbits are just fancy loops and we've made a lot of them!

Enjoyed all the levels, and beating the last one in particular felt really satisfying. I agree with some of the other comments that a bit more information to make it more about strategic thinking and less about guess-and-checking would be good but I don't know how to do that well. I really liked the "Any collisions after this point will be outside of our Warranty Window™ and out of our hands" setup and how most levels, at least for me, ended like "A collision about to happen, but I got my next contract, so who cares 😀." Good gob!
Cool aesthetics and vibes! The stars, planets, and music all worked really nicely together. It was fun to get things working correctly, and the time limit was a good amount. It would have been nice to have a little more information to make informed decisions about where to place planets--it felt like trial and error was the main strategy (for me, at least!). But thanks to the short warranty period that wasn't a big deal--nice job overall! Cool take on the theme :)
The thing that stuck out to me was that the speed of all the orbiting bodies would vary, and the only way to find out how fast they were was to just send things moving at least once. It's quick to try and see how they move, so it didn't feel like a big problem so much as my first guess was completely random each time. On the other hand, in the current design, hints might make things too easy. Kind of a non-answer but hopefully that helped! 😅
It's a solid foundation and I could see it going in a variety of directions!
Very good and unique game, love the concept and the chill vibe! One thing I would have added is an arrow marker, that shows the player where on the track they had last put any given planet, so they can micro adjust afterwards. I found myself trying to guess each time where I had put a planet before, this would be a nice quality of life change! Apart from that I like the visuals and the look of the planets and galaxies! Well done!
Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed! Feedback is really appreciated. It more or less aligns with what others have been saying as well, which is encouraging, We're looking at adding an arrow marker for orbit direction and some sort of visual indicator on the last starting position the player has tried to remove some of the frustration!
Cool game! I really like how simple the mechanics are but how ridiculously hard it gets at the end. I would suggest to show a shadow of the last placement of your planets because it gets hard to remember where exactly it was on longer loops. Art and music are nice and fit very well to the theme, good job!
Great game! Could not beat 12th contract but it still was very intertaining
Probably if there was a mark on where you last put a planet it would be much easier
The choise of music and visuals are great!
Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback as well. The 12th level is probably the hardest, but you can always skip it in the 'Contract Selector'. Hopefully you can finish the last two! We might look to make that slightly easier in future. R.e. the planet placement, adding a last placed marker definitely a short-term aim.
Great idea and funny satirical setting! planets and stars are lofi but their movement and rotation create a truly 3D illusion.
I really like the story setting for this! It often happens that the warranty expires just before disaster strikes, but it's still considered a win because for the company, well, that is a win :) . And I just love the humorous cynicism in that. The game design itself is not something I'd consider 'fun' to play for a longer time, but in the context of this short game it works, so congrats ^^
It was very fun! I like the creative idea
I think small tweaks that can change the experience a long way.
I agree with the small tweaks like remembering position and the direction, I would also add that the restart button is in the same position as the start button, so I won but accidentally restarted (maybe because I'm dumb) and had to win again at the beginning. Maybe switching places between the "restart" and "start new level" buttons?
That aside, it's a nice game! It's satisfying to win the puzzles :)
very good for the first godot game (and game entirely!)
I will agree with some of the previous comments - a few small things could go a long way in making it more user friendly, like travel direction and remembering the last set position, but I think the interpretation of the theme is super interesting and that's one of the main goals
you made a game, congrats!
Very interesting concept and I enjoyed it, but like the commenter below me mentioned - really needed to remember the starting positions. Once there was more than one planet, it became really hard to tweak and adjust.
Liked the idea and good use of the loop theme - I think the one thing that would be great is if it remembered starting positions so you could iterate a little easier. All in all well done.
Love the artwork and sound. Puzzles where very satisfying when solved.
It's fun to push the planet a bit so can squeeze right through. But was also a bit random and hard when the duration was long. Couldn't really predict what will happen so it ended in try and error. Keep the duration short or the movement predictable and it would be more rewarding.
