I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with Mark that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.
Its so fuuun ! Maybe a bit too fast. I would love to have more levels. But the concept is very fun and i love the art. nice job

Very nice! Going under the water then popping up on the edge of another person is very satisfying.
One of my favorite games in the Jam.
Really remembers to me the wish of continue playing as a kid in any type of activity.
And about the gameplay, I could play the game before it's last version, an d all I can say, it's better.

Adorable game, especially the mum's slightly confused comments when you get a negative lap! The art has such a playful feel to it, and the 6-directional sprites are such a nice touch and give it so much more of a tactile feel than 4-directional :)
Such a creative idea! I really enjoyed controlling the game with the mouse, and the art style is truly beautiful as well.
Wow the amount of polish you added to this game, with the animations, level transitions etc. It's really impressive! I had so much fun playing this. And that spin out at the end made it worth all that effort I put in. Really good game, honestly! :)
Haha, this was a fun spin on the theme, deliberately looping ("lapping") backwards to stay in the lazy river forever. Mechanically, I found myself just right clicking and dashing instead of using the normal swim function. I don't think that's a drawback per se, just that the game got even more amusing when I was darting all over the place!
Glad you enjoyed it! I agree, as you get used to the game, the dash and dive overshadow the basic swimming movement. In movement/combo based games like this I feel like it's helpful to have simpler movement options for beginners that require less skill/precision to execute and aid in simply moving around. The tradeoff for ease-of-use is that they have to provide less scoring utility or else they would make the trickier tricks not worth it. Though in this case, maybe the basic swim could stand to offer a bit more...
Super cute! I really enjoyed the concept and art of this game. Ducking beneath the spike tubes in particular was satisfying.

Very fun arcade game! I have no idea how this happened but I managed to clip into the centre lol. My best score without cheating was 295475 (spinning is OP)

there's SO MUCH love put into this game and it shows! figuring out the 'spin bonus' and the negative laps was magical. Great art, very arcade-y, and a super creative take on the theme! <3 One! More! Lap!
This is a complete game! :)
Cute characters, radical game. once the concept clicked it was super fun. Lots of "tech" to discover like dive->bump to launch yourself. There is a bug where you can swim over the center island and it doesn't affect your lap count.

Awesome stuff!
Really cool and original! at first it was really chill, and i was just bouncing around for points, but then the speed ramped up and got action packed, it was a cool change of pace.
I also liked the narrative, simple but cute!
