How does your game fit the theme?
The loop is death and the return. You play as an immortal who sacrifices themselves again and again to feed a flower, hoping to reclaim lost time. Each time you die, a glowing bloom marks your passing — a platform for future attempts. Progress is only possible through repeated sacrifices. Your body becomes the path forward. It’s not only a gameplay loop but also a narrative one. The player loops through life, death, and rebirth, haunted by memory and driven by purpose. The world changes with each run, ever nudging the player forward, or backward.

Loved the music! Too bad I only had 20 minutes, so I couldn’t reach the ending.
The creepy atmosphere is effective and the poetic writing is great! I love the music in the background as well!
If possible, please consider rating my game too.
Love the atmosphere and the song was amazing! Love the message aswell. Presentation wise top notch. The platforming needs a bit of work but that is the only flaw! Great game! You should be proud! ^^
This games sounds beautiful. I was not expecting to get a whole custom song with lyrics in a game jam game. The whole aesthetic is also very cool. I stopped playing when it seemed to be looping endlessly, although now I'm looking at some of the other reviews and thinking I may have missed the real ending.
There is indeed the real ending, though you yourself must break the cycle of GOING RIGHT :>
Loved the mood and aesthetic! From all the jam games I've played, this one has the best narrative yet. The only issue is that the platforming is a bit buggy. But I recommend finishing the game and putting it out because it really stands out as a unique experience.
Thanks for trying the game out. A fixed version is getting cooked, hopefully will be published soon
Nicely put together! Must try! really good.
The atmosphere, narrative and art are amazing, but the "die to leave platforms" mechanic gets really tiring after a while.
Pretty spooky atmosphere and cool story! Not much in the way of gameplay of course, but that's fine for a game like this.
Loved the kitty cat easter egg lol.
"I did not expect much of this game when I saw it. But while playing couldn't comprehend how someone can do a better narrative in 4 days that a AAA studio" - me :D
This game is a masterpiece, a gem, a treasure in the wast ocean of games. And this is honesty here my friend. I don't accept payment 4 good ratings here.
I must be honest, I played this game longer than most others and I didn't come close to the end (so I believe). It is a beautiful story of rebirth (I believe so ), represented by the big flower.
This game has so much good, that I can't put it in such a small message, but here is my critique:
- Movement isn't responsive, not a big problem though
- Great sounds, but the movement seems too flat. Add footsteps please!
- Remove the birds imo (except they are important for the story). They don't fit to the vibes of the game
And that is it! Gread job!
Thanks for playing the game. I agree with your first two points. But which birds? Do you mean the 2 eyes staring from the background or the bird sounds?
I meant the singing birds in the backround. Everything else is perfect :)
A poetic piece of work!! perfectly complementing the environment and sounds. really like the game design and look forward to more content!:D By the way, I got stuck here when I first entered the game, I don’t know why.
finally, lovely cat ^^
Thanks for playing. That's a very odd part to get stuck in, I'll try to see what's up with that corner
One of the most unique games I played for this jam. I think this is the first game I've played where an entire song was written and sung for it. Really feels like something special and would love to see lyrics somewhere for the in-game track. Going from whistling to vocals on later stages is an incredible touch. The rest of the audio design is top-notch too -- it feels very immersive with all the woodland ambience and sounds.
The main frustration I had was the repeating levels and the repetitive gameplay. I simply assumed when I saw a level layout repeat and read "How many times must you die until you realize?" that the game was just going to loop repeatedly. I could understand the narrative purpose dying serves as part of the self-sacrifice theme of the game, but this doesn't make it any less exhausting to have to die 10+ times to get to the flower on each level.
I even played through the game a 2nd time to better understand the story and to see if there was anything after where I stopped. Imagine my shock when I had to play the same level not once, not twice, but three times (!!!). I do understand from other comments there is supposed to be an ending, and it makes me sad I couldn't get to it.
In terms of writing, I wish more was unsaid than said. There's a lot of context in the jam page and game page that I wish was more hinted at through gameplay and visual elements than outright stated. For how interestingly the game obliquely hints at its worldbuilding and themes through the in-game writing and mechanics, being straight up told "You play as an immortal who sacrifices themselves again and again to feed a flower, hoping to reclaim lost time" kinda feels like it gives up part of the plot too easily.
I understand the frustration since I did put priorities elsewhere rather than the MAIN traversing ability and the most BASIC platform design. The hint at the final stage is kinda weak so a bit more clues probably help. Regardless thank you for playing the game, TWICE, despite the intentional hostility design. I hope maybe the felines you find along the way helped
Nice game, The shadows give good ambience, Unfortunately i lost the B4B (Break 4 Break) So i can say, I did not find any bugs. WP.
I really like the atmosphere you created and this is the first time I've heard someone perform vocals for a game jam's soundtrack. The controls, mostly how the character would get stuck on walls and edges, started to become an issue near the end of the game where you needed to jump so many times but I did complete the game. I think some tweaks to the movement and maybe some hitbox adjustments, this would be just about perfect. Also, bonus points for cats.
Thanks for enjoying the game
Very nice game. well excecuted (except for how slow the movement is)
Great atmosphere. The sound design and art take the player to a serene yet eerie place.
Could improve the platforming physics. Look up "coyote time" and consider a similar tweak for when players press the "jump" button a little too early before landing. Holding a direction against a wall in mid-air also sticks you to the wall - probably a quirk when using Unity's rigidbodies for character movement.
I like how the gameplay loop fits the theme well and contributes to the overall tone. But I do think there's more potential for puzzle/problem solving and just "fun" factor. The most optimal approach is basically to hold right and jump until eventually you can reach the goal. It stops being interesting after a handful of levels.
Thanks for for feedback, jumping is one of the top things to tackle post jam time. A lot of time was not allocated to fixing the jump XD
Wow, the game "calls" you in and makes you need to know whats going on. I didn't expect to search my soul in a game dev. Great Audio, Art, Sound, Story Telling!
A very interesting game narrative wise! Controls are kinda clunky, I keep getting stuck between ledges and such, but it is a very cool artistic experience!
Cool game, I got stuck falling into the water but it was a cool experience. Great job!
Thank you for trying out the game, in which area were you stuck in the water?
I think it's the second or third area. I wasn't sure what to do next. I loved the environment and atmosphere though!
A game with a promising idea behind it, if u are going to develope it more, it could be a treasure. The sound design is also beautiful! Two small things: the graphic palette is perfect, and if the tiles used were a little more refined, it would be great. Also, the physics and collision shapes need optimizing :) I liked it anyway, it has a unique atmosphere. gg
Thank you for playing the game
Loved the vibe and the aesthetic! This was great, the narrative, the audio, the song, the visuals, wow!
I really liked the controls at the beginning, it felt right for the ambiance of the game, but towards the end it was getting frustrating and repetitive to be honest! That would be the only downside, the experience was really unique!
