Arts and sound designs are all awesome, the original filter was a bit too much for me but I'm glad it's possible to turn it off (though I was a bit confused by the menu since dark button -> selected instead of the normal bright button -> selected)

The control is and platforming is pretty tight, some cool level design and concept as well, though a lot of it is inducing quite a bit of rage, I think I die like 10 times just on level 2 alone, small traps and jump baits (not sure if intentional or not). By the time I reach the banana fruit I kinda lost it, since you need to approach the banana from the top platform, not the bottom or there's no reaching the doorway.

Brilliant game, but very frustrating experience.

Kinda confused about what needs to be done for a while, but after reading the other comments seem like the idea is trying to spot if there is any anomalies and eat the corresponding fruit. The art looks pretty clean (looks a bit The Sims-inspired) and some music/sound would definitely help.

Also the navigation in the world is kinda odd, I was stuck on Day 1 for a while since keeps going out to the kitchen to eat the fruit, without realizing I have to click the bed to proceed to the next day (since nothing is different when clicking on the bed) thus looping the first day over and over. By the time I kinda figure it out it's getting pretty frustrating already so I did not proceed further.

Pretty chill memory game though still challenging but not too difficult. Got to the end on the second try. The art, sound, and music were great at inducing a relaxing states as well. Great work for such a short time.

One thing I think may helps is to have the character having some sort of visuals on them to tell what they need, which for example in the game Monkey wants Banana, while the green shirt lady so really a telltale sign so I kinda her once or twice on the first try.

Also an ability to redo fruit in case of misclick since I misclicked a few times, would be helpful.

More addictive than I thought :D Remind me of the swiping card game Reign :D

The game is pretty cute with great animation but I was stuck like the comment below, found no way ahead and then just quit. Some parts are designed to be pretty rage-inducing as well, which I understand is part the intentional design (though the checkpoints help ameliorate that a bit).

This game is hilarious. "Gaslighting as a Service" lol. Some pretty funny lines as well, but things need to go pretty quick so it can be hard to read the entire joke.

This was more fun than I expected, playing reverse ninja fruit XD. Pretty neat little game, one thing I think would add is actually having the fruit getting sliced since it's quite hard to tell when the fruits get hit, same for bomb, some kinda explosions would definitely help with player feedbacks.

Technically an escape room that runs along with a visual novel that actually has a death timer going at the same time, pretty novel idea. The art and the music are fantastic, with a high focus on narrative. Pretty neat experience, albeit a bit frustrating at times.

On the other hand it's kinda confusing what to do, at one point it becomes randomly clicking in the environment to find what interacts with what to progress the story, I think it took me like 3 or 4 crashes before I made some progress. Also it's not clear how the timer actually work, it kinda clashes with the game being about a lot of reading imo.

Pretty fun short game with a neat concept. The blueberry was pretty tricky ngl.

One small complaints is the background sometimes blend with the platform blocks, which makes trying to see where to go a bit hard, might be change the background to some neutral color would help a bit there. Otherwise nice game.

Thank you for trying the game out. The inventory system was causing a lot of internal strife during development as well, we're just glad it actually works albeit a bit buggy. A little bit more polish and UX clean up would definitely help with the player experience.

The game looks pretty cute and sound design is neat as well. The mechanic is cool for the concept but a little bit frustrating since the body you left behind expire so quickly it's pretty hard to catch up to it, and if your movement intersect with the past lives' movement it bugs out sometimes too, which forces a reset.

The game is pretty cute. The flight and movement animation is pretty charming. Puzzles and mechanics are introduced at a good pace, some care was put into level design though the tie into the theme and special object is not very strong.

Thank you for trying the game out. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to polish the dialogue part much and it's still a bit buggy sometimes

Thanks for trying the game out :D

(1 edit)

The live action cutscene is pretty neat. Great tutorials and simple mechanics make a great puzzle games, though can be punishing if you miss one part of the sequence and have to do it from the start, especially when it gets quite complex in the later levels.

Our sound engineer/musician spent quite a lot of time tweaking the adaptive sound so it's great that someone notice it

Games look fun, reminds me of Terra Nil and it was neat watching the plants grow. The art, UI design and sounds keep it quite a soothing experience. I think I managed to fulfill one fruit but other than that not sure what is going on since the mechanic is not much explained and I am not sure what to do next.

Not really a game but rather a short experience with focus on narrative. Great use of music and sound design though the art is a bit at odds since contradicting art style.

Thank you for trying the game out: That cover art did take the most time and quite a bit of effort for me so great to see it help getting the game some attention.

Thank you for trying the game out. We've put a lot of effort into the art

Great looking game, great atmosphere also.

Gameplay is pretty straightforward and easy to understand as well. Would be neat to have some kinda challenges in the game, since it's just pretty much walking around randomly until you find the fruits at the moment. Regardless, good work.

Pretty fun short game that loops back into itself. The art looks pleasing and sound effects sound neat. Mechanic is easy to understand, though I wish the objects that you turn into would just stay in place instead in being pushed around since it makes platforming a bit frustrating

Pretty short but quite fun game. Clear mechanics make it quite easy to see what needs to be done. I still do not know what triggers the alarm sometimes?
Also would be great if there are multiple paths to the end goal, as of now it's a bit linear but it's a very short jam so it's understandable

Thank you for trying it out. We tried out best but there are still janks here and there we would want to fix.

Thank you for trying the game out and for your kind words, we did put a lot of effort into world building so it's great to have someone appreciate it.

Thank you for trying the game out, the game does open with quite a difficult choice and there's a chance the player might miss out on 80% of the content but it's part of making VN fun. Death and choices have consequenses.

The reason for no saving is because we were just trying out our new solution in Unity for making VN and sorts so it is missing some features that Renpy has, and jam is a perfect place to test it out. If we have time in the future we would definitely update the tools and features so you can save.

Such fascinating game, the writing is hilariously funny and the art is just fabulous. The characters are really fleshed out out as well, though still keeping a bit of mystique to themselves, going from inter-dimensional king to your entrapped gamerboy. They do get attracted to the player quite quick if you choose correctly to each of their personalities.

Not exactly scary since all the *monsters* do have their sexual appeal tuned to the max, managerial included. Great game, I can see a lot of effort was put into this one.

Is this really a Visual Novel? Hmmmmmmmmm.

Technicality aside, this is one delightful game, the writing is fabulously hilarious, the artwork really pops off as well. Everything really works together to tell a heartfelt story with a very conclusive ending (though what really happens in the end to the portal is still not so clear to me).

The characters feel fleshed out even if they have only a few lines, the character sprites really did the heavy lifting here. The way the game plays with texts and fonts are also extremely well-done. Overall a very great game.

Thank you for trying out the game and for your kind words.

We used our own system in Unity for the dialogues so there are still quite a few quirks with it that we will need to address (the sound issue you've run into is probably this). We'll try to look into the bugs and hopefully resolve them.

Despite the horror element it's quite a cozy game. I quite like the core of the game being a few friends sitting around a fire talking through the night, very charming. I did get one of the good endings after all I think, which is pretty cute, though I could guess other endings could get quite gruesome.

Also the fan service lol.

If anything this game is wild, going from lab experiment to existential crisis in less than a heartbeat, characters are introduced and discarded as soon as they show up. Feels very 90s anime somehow. Either that or Ethan's route is just very wild in general.

A bit more world building would be neat as well.

The voice acting and line writing are great and feels natural, so kudos to the voice actors. The dev log inside the game and the random log.wav files are interesting, though I was sussed by random files popping off on my desktops (hopefully still is).

Story-wise, the surface level is pretty thin I would say (if not a bit unfinished) though the meta levels provide some hints into "technological" usage for creative works so it's kinda rewarding to be mean sometimes, though I have not tried the other choices yet (I just checked the log files after quitting the game so there might be more to it).

Interesting concept nevertheless.

Pretty neat game. The forefront of the game really kept me on edge, I was surprised to find actual body remains quite early into the game as well. The sprites and voice acting really add to the experience as well, though there are plenty of white rooms without CGs, could be nice to have more of them to flesh out the locations. Overall solid game, though there are still some small typos here and there, but no big deal.

Storywise, quite an interesting set up, though Lily is a really well-adjusted girl considering how she was raised and how everything happened, considering how other character is marred by the experience. Also I didn't really catch the family drama on the how and why everything happened in the past (I did try to investigate I could, though I did not enter Lily's room), maybe other endings, as well as not respecting Lily's wishes will explore it further.

I did encounter a game crash after the three eating scene so I'm not sure which ending I got.

First word, as a fan of Junji Ito, it's very great with all the spiral imagery. The music sound design is awesome as well, which really elevates the unsettling experience. Background art and text stylings are also very well put together. Such a great experience, I also really like the many music references (though I think without the Bea(t)les there won't be much grunge or garage rock to be had)

I can see there's a theme about finding your own voice amidst the crowding noises and individualism as well, about who we are and who we will be, growth and relationship fractures as well. I really like the supernatural stuffs, connect ramens with *stuffs*, who would have thought that those can be used together. I've managed to get around 5 endings, with the best one I think that I've unlocked is the Uzumaki reference.

Some small nitpicks: 1. there are still some typos here and there but pretty minor, 2. I do wish there are more hints for which items to take but I guess it's fine since you do not want to railroad the player too much.

Thank you for trying the game, we've put a lot of effort into world building in order to keep things coherent with each other.

On the technical side, we have a custom solution for VN in Unity (which uses graph node) so there are still some functions that we are still missing (like going back, save, etc). This game is partially part of us trying it out as well, so we are building the solution along with the game at the same time.

The sound issue is pretty new, maybe it's a Unity thing (?), thank you for notifying us since we don't want people to miss the sounds since we did put a lot of effort into it. We'll probably put up a warning and try to investigate.

I admit the opening and the first 2/3rd of the game were very confusing to me, in which I was having a pretty tough time following the story due to missing context. Though after finishing the story and going through the ending, I think it kinda makes sense if you consider approaching the story from the perspective of person with mental issues (schizophrenia and PTSD in this case, I think?). Almost as tough as the first chapter of The Sound and The Fury, though not to the level of random rambling of Faulkner.

The art and music really suit the story with theme of death and guilt.

Oh I see, interesting indeed

Pretty bittersweet games with great moments, good balance between comedy and melancholy as well. The voice acting was great, it really brings out the characters. I did wish the last character you meet could get some sound as well, just something simple could work.

I quite enjoy the little easter eggs here and there with the background posters :D.

Interesting take on the biblical figures and great looking art style, when the artifacts were mentioned I was expecting the spear of Longinus at one point. Unfortunately I was not really hooked by the story. A lot of context is also  left out or assumed known by the player, as the rule for how things work in this universe is not explained very well. The concept is cool, but I wish it's a bit more fleshed out.

I also had a small problem with the texts sometimes being skipped (?) I wasn't able to read (maybe I have double clicked to proceed the dialogue?)

Great atmospheric game with the cult Church of True Peace being so interesting, and I was actually surprised by the game's time period as well. The sound effect and art really elevate the overall theme. Overall very tight game with maybe a bit potential for world building.

Though I was wondering, I got Fiona constantly questioning her faith but got the ending with her totally in the faith, is that intended, or was I not reading it correctly?
