This is so fun. I said no when it asked me to start a new loop because I am so invested! What a great game, reminds me of really good deckbuilders! I think you have something here honestly haha. Maybe add a storyline or dungeon crawling to this, add a town, and you'll be set! Great job!

Very cool game! Art and music are good. Was a bit unclear for me that character will move on its own at the end of the turn, and how much energy each card consumes when its played.
Looks very promising, would be nice to see updates on it later, maybe more types of cards and events
Oh I like this, alwasy a big fan of deckbuilders! It really gave me Loop Hero vibes.
I love the mechanic of being able to interact/avoid depending on the cards you have. My only feedback would be that at the beginning I didn't fully understand why I should one option or the other, or what they would do. But I figured it out after a few turns!
We also created a deckbuilder for the jam, so would love to hear your feedback if you wanted to give ours a try too!
I wish I had the courage to make a card game for a jam! This one is pretty good and very intuitive. I love sounds, art style, and a cute fighting animation. Music is very pleasant, reminiscent of flash games of my youth. :)
I didn’t find any way to increase my power and it didn’t stop me from succeeding. Almost like I was meant to tank through enemies and jump over them. I also find it funny that money serve as health points.
Great job! Here’s the video of my playthrough: https://youtu.be/GrOO4QhdfN4
All-round, it's a solid game! (And yes there's sound, I had no issues with the SFX or background music.)
THere wasn't any sound right? Otherwise I loved the game! well done! fun concept! I'd love to see it fleshed out with more mechanics.
Interesting idea and the hidden tasks really kept me going on. Very smart move! :D
Very polished and juicy card game. I didn't read the instructions before playing, and surprisingly, everything was very intuitive (kudos for waving "End turn" button when out of energy and for displaying enemy encounters).
Had a few rewarding moments to discover myself, and I'm really grateful for that. I can see this easily becoming something greater given even more time to extend & polish. Had a lot of fun playing! Thank you!
Really fun to play. Very clear instructions except that the tax is no. of loops x3. Polished art style. I am lucky enough to collect all stones in the beginning of my 3rd loop without understanding what the clues are. I keep playing until the attack power of enemies reset in 12th loop. Jumping across tax payer is so useful and there are too few chances to upgrade my power. Even with fullscreen I have difficulty in recognizing some of the really tiny texts, but that is explained in the diagram.

This was a fun little game with a nice art style! I wound up getting all the stones and then doing another run! The tile markers are a little hard to see so it made figuring out whether or not I'd jump over an enemy difficult.

Fun game! I liked the card elements to decide what types of actions i can take on the loop to avoid gold damage or advance more quickly. The permanent boost to attack power was super useful and definitely saved/earned me a lot of gold so I could easily pay off the tax collector each time around the loop.
Well made and complete experience! Nice work.
Really enjoyable game! The toll collector whooped me and I was only able to raise my attack power once. It worked out though cuz I was still able to find all the stone. Great job.
This is a very cool game! I do wish it was a bit easier to gain attack power, since the tax collector absolutely power crept me... but the fact that it wasn't easy forced me to strategize, which is good!
