I love the spooky vibes and anything with pancakes! I really struggled with the controls and couldn't make it through orders. I still went out and explored some and I'll have to come back to get some answers.

Love the art in this game! I walked around the park but based on the screenshots I feel like I missed some something, but at least I got to make some pancakes!

Pretty interesting game. I spent a few minutes mastering the art of making pancakes until I figured out what to do next. However, I didn't know what else to do after beating the boss. Regardless, well done creating such an unique game in such a short time 👍
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the pancake making challenge. The boss fight is actually the ending, but we wish we could have made the ending clearer; unfortunately, time constraints didn’t allow for that.

I sadly wasn't able to find the twist :v. I loved going through the environment and seeing all the small details tho. And I find it funny that you also got a physics store mangement game like us! Maybe you can check out ours too :)

Loved the eerie twist and the cardboard-cutout art—flipping pancakes to uncover the mystery was such a clever hook. The controls felt a bit finicky at first, but that just made solving the puzzles more satisfying. Great job!

Cooking pancakes is more than a lifestyle - it's an artform. Delivering your first pancake is like riding a bike for the first time - it's exhilarating! And in a way, this game is sort of like a dating sim - only a bit one-sided...

I love this kind of eerier investigation games! Other people have said it much better than me so in short: very nice atmosphere/vibes, and you should totally turn this into a full game.

I LOVE this idea! At first I wasn't aware of half of the controls and lifted pancakes from the pan by shaking them to the ground, which made it arguably funnier. A few of my absolute favorite games of last year were Arctic Eggs, The Crush House, and Grunn, and I need to know if you designed this game with any of these in mind? Because it just really felt like something I would buy a full release of and would annoyingly tell all of my friends about hahahaha

Oh crazy, I didn't expect that hahahaha, I think I found parts of the mystery, but I should probably return later to find out what's fully going on :D
The mystery will end a bit abruptly, keep that in mind. We didn't have the time to polish that part of the game.
I "flopped" so hard at the intro bit. I love the "trueman show" vibes and the cardboard cut out trees. We tried to add a lil "break the loop" component in our submission, but it was an after thought that I don't think anyone is even going to find it, I really like how it was findable, but not too easy to find here. Good job and great game!
We tried our best to add lots of little details hinting at the “break the loop” mystery. There are some people that don’t notice it so yeah it’s tricky to find the right balance. We’re glad you discovered and enjoyed it!

I liked how the whole thing felt eerie! After a while I finally decided to explore and discovered what was really going on! I thought the boss fight at the end was funny (I was beating up the mole guy with a pancake)! I feel like it ended very abruptly though, because nothing happened after I beat the boss. Overall, a very fun game!

Fun little pancake flipper. Very cute design! The frustration got the best of me and couldn't manage to break the cycle though haha.

Cool game. The concept of breaking out of a loop in the way you have done is difficult to do in such a short timeframe, but you managed to pull it off!

I didn't imagine there would be so many food games like mine... The game is beautiful and I like the sounds. Now I'm eager for revenge on that pan... HAHAHA, the pancake stand queue is a bit bugged, but nothing too serious. Good luck on the jam. 🔥🔥🔥

the linux version of the game has major graphical issues (which is common for 3d unity games)

well i finished a day but i don't know if that counts as finishing the game, and i accidentally stood on the dynamite and got sent with it into space where it popped out of existence.
don't worry too much about the linux issue though, the windows version can be played on linux just fine via wine/proton (which is a compatibility layer allowing windows apps and games to work under linux in some cases running the game better than the linux port of it)
Daam, the TNT launching you in the air is wild. We didn't know about that! You need to use the TNT at a place in the world. Some wires might point you to where it is.
