Really good idea! However, it seems to hard to win some battles because the character does not have enough cards or energy to use it all (Changing balancing).
Neat game! Art is fantastic, and the gameplay is quite enjoyable. I had the same UI Issues but "Ctrl" + "-" worked for me. Can't go wrong with a roguelike deckbuilder these days.
I liked the chill vibes the music and background brought. The gameplay idea is pretty fun too! I initially thought the number of loop you did without changing your deck had a purpose (like giving a bonus to cards to encourage taking the risk to stay with the same configuration to rack up bonus or just change it), but the penalty of losing a loop is fine too.
I did have UI issues like the previous commenter, so some informations were hidden from me due to the screen being too zoomed in, but despite that I had fun!
I liked the art and sounds but i'm going to be honest I think the window wasn't showing everything, which is why I am not going to rate this game. I tried resizing the window and refreshing the tab, but idk it dosen't work.
Funny how our card/looping ideas were pretty similar! You have designed a much more cohesive set of cards than we did for our game, which made strategising a lot of fun. Nothing bad to say really, just a very well designed game that was fun to play!
I had a lot of fun playing your game! Simple and solid idea, well executed all around. Really cool!
Great UI and game flow! Loved the swirling background!
The visuals are really polished — great UI and clear instructions. However, the gameplay felt a bit tricky to grasp. The concept is quite unique as this is the first card game I’ve seen in the jam. Nice work overall!
The game was really hard for me haha. it took me a while to know how to play, and then I got stuck with the bat forever hahaa
I imagine it must be really tough to balance the cards and everything so that stuff like that doesn’t happen.
Great game though, and great style too :)
Nice idea, great artwork and great game but i cant play, it is really hard. Good Job!
Unfortunately, we didn't have time to properly balance the game, so it's harder than we intended. But thank you for playing and your feedback !
This has a fun game loop! Really interesting to try to plan ahead and to make choices about continuing a loop or optimizing it for a new enemy. Good UI and feedback. I appreciated the option to make it play out faster, too.
Thanks for your feedback and for playing! We’re also happy with the UI and the game’s design!
The art of the game is so great! Also a card game that loops is a great idea that this game has. And the game mechanics are really great. Also let’s not forget the music of this game! I would recommend this game to card game users!

I was a little confused, but I think I understood it after a while. The artwork and audio were really good.
Love the idea, and lots of great polish to it. Great job! Item and enemy balance is pretty rough, but that's probably the toughest part to a game jam. Thought i had the whole game figured out using just a rusty sword with the trinket that gave shield per loop for unused energy, just to soft lock on a knight that averaged 2 shield per turn XD
Yeah, we struggled a bit with balancing, which can sometimes lead to soft locks! Thanks for the feedback and for playing !
A little bit confused at first, but I think I got the hang of it after dying a couple of times; card games can be a bit tricky to teach in the short timespan of a game jam play session.
Visually, the game looks great. I love the Baltro "gameyness" of interacting with the cards. There weren't all to many SFX, but the ones that were present (the damaging a card sound) fit well within the game. Also, the music was quite nice; it set a good atmosphere for a playful card game.
Neat idea for the theme. Cool submission.
Yeah, we didn’t expect a card game to be so tricky to develop, explain, and balance! We wish we had just a little more time to finish everything we had in mind, but we're still pretty happy with the result. Thanks for playing!
The game plays good, but I have few issues.
1. you can get into infinite loop, where you get 2 shields, get hit for 2 damage and same for your opponent
2. items in shop werent free, resulting in uphill unwinneble battle
3. you have to spent 1 play, after you exit shop, even if you didnt make changes to the loop
other that that game plays well, its fun and unique and has quite a charm, good job. :)
Thanks for your feedback! Yes, we removed the free item at the last minute, but it looks like that might’ve been a bad idea, the game feels too hard now! We definitely struggled with balancing, but thanks a lot for playing!
Looks like a masterpiece and plays well
Thank you 😎
Interesting idea. The card play limits the outcomes.
Yes, that's exactly what we were going for! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to properly balance the game, so it's harder than we intended. Thank you for playing !
