Yeah, it definitely feels tough at first — there's a bit of a learning curve with the pace and timing. But once you get the hang of it, it really starts to click! My best score so far is 261, so it is doable — just takes a bit of practice.

That said, in future versions I’ll definitely slow the difficulty ramp so it builds up more gradually — that way the games can last longer and feel easier early on.

This game is visually stunning, especially for a game jam entry! I really liked the mechanic where the weapon’s range increases based on how long you hold the attack button — it adds a nice layer of strategy. It might be helpful to add a visual indicator showing how much the weapon is charged. Also, it could improve pacing if the points collected in each chamber were automatically added to your total at the end of the round, even if you don’t manually pick them up. This might help smooth out the slow start since you only have a limited number of points to upgrade early on. Overall, you’ve made a great game — congrats!

I’d love for you to check out my game as well if you are up for it. Thanks!

The game plays well, and I really like the concept of upgrading to boost level proficiency — it's a fun progression mechanic. The one thing that stood out to me, though, was how the character felt like it was gliding during movement. I think this could be improved with a proper running animation and quicker deceleration to give movement more weight and responsiveness. Overall, great job — I had fun playing!

I really enjoyed the polish and simplicity of this game. However, the window felt quite small and not being able to resize it slightly detracted from the experience. Adding that option could easily enhance the game. Great job overall!

I really liked the core concept and the idea of customizing your beads — it's creative and has a lot of potential. I'd love to see a more fleshed-out version with expanded features and mechanics. Nice job overall!

I found the game's art style quite nice and unique. Nice work!

Your game is well-polished and easy to pick up. However, the gameplay started to feel a bit repetitive over time. I was able to reach level 40 without much difficulty, and it didn’t feel like there was a significant challenge holding me back. Introducing harder obstacles and/or an additional movement mechanic — like diving underwater for a short time — could help keep the gameplay fresh and more engaging. Overall, the game looks great and you did a fantastic job!

Really enjoyed the simplicity of this game. Awesome work!

This is a unique concept. Adding sound effects and expanding the variety of movements and challenges could really help bring the game to life and make it feel more dynamic. Overall, great job!

Was the purpose of the game just to float in a slowly moving space? I couldn’t find any other gameplay elements — apologies if I missed something!

I really like the concept, and the atmosphere was well done. I agree with some of the points raised in the first comment — there's a lot of potential here. I'd love to see a more complete version in the future. Well done!

The visuals are really polished — great UI and clear instructions. However, the gameplay felt a bit tricky to grasp. The concept is quite unique as this is the first card game I’ve seen in the jam. Nice work overall!

The concept is unique, and I really enjoyed the simplicity of each puzzle. Adding sound effects could enhance the overall experience and make the gameplay more immersive. My best time was 85 seconds — great job overall!

Cool game with a solid concept and narrative. Great work overall!

The polish in this game is undeniable—especially impressive given the jam's time constraints. The difficulty scales well, and the introduction of new enemy attacks keeps the gameplay fresh and engaging. Fantastic job overall!

Your game's concept is really unique and creative! I especially enjoyed the level progression and how it ties into the theme of "loop". Great work overall!

Thanks a lot for your feedback.

Great atmosphere with simple but fun mechanics. I especially enjoyed how the difficulty gradually increased, keeping the gameplay engaging. The powerups added a nice layer of strategy, and the overall polish was impressive. Fantastic work!

The level of polish is very impressive! I like the concept although a little confusing at first. Strong work!

Cool concept and solid level design — the assets complement each other nicely. However, I was hoping to see more gameplay elements tied into the "loop" theme. Still, great work overall!

I like the thief's walking animation, it has a lot of character. It'd be nice to be able to run or move faster though. Good work overall!

The atmosphere and level design is very nice, well done!

Very nice! I really enjoyed the drift mechanic — my fastest time was 47 seconds. I think sound effects would greatly enhance the experience. It's also cool that you made your game using Python and pygame-ce; I did the same!

Nice concept! I liked the overall feel, but I wish there was a way to fight back since the enemies crowd you pretty quickly, which can feel a bit overwhelming. Still, good work overall! My best score was 406.

The character fighting animations are really well done. Overall, great work!

Nice

Is there supposed to be any gameplay past the loop platform? The art is really nice, it feels like it could work well in a cool roguelike.

Very nice, I like the simplicity and the assets go well together.

Nice concept and easy to get the hang of.
