I just discovered that I didn't cap framerate in my export, so if your browser is running faster than 60fps, weird things happen (very fast death and capture doesn't work). idk if that'll help, thanks for letting me know!

Enjoyable, though it would greatly benefit from some QoL features, namely a way to reset only the current loop, and a way to "finish" a loop early rather than being forced to wait for the timer standing still

Thanks, I appreciate it! It does get harder every 5 times a light is lit (every loop, if you will), but it is pretty subtle.

This is absolutely stellar - great use of the theme, well executed gameplay. The drawing detection is finicky, but it still worked well enough that the game was enjoyable, and that's fantastic for a Jam/prototype. Really glad i came across this!

Honestly, that's a great idea - thanks! With the lack of a tutorial that would have made it much easier to learn the game by trying stuff.

Love the idea, and lots of great polish to it. Great job! Item and enemy balance is pretty rough, but that's probably the toughest part to a game jam. Thought i had the whole game figured out using just a rusty sword with the trinket that gave shield per loop for unused energy, just to soft lock on a knight that averaged 2 shield per turn XD

While i'm not much of a deck-builder player, i enjoyed this a decent bit! FYI it, uh, might have bugged and defaulted me to first place the whole time when I was definitely not first, but i'm afraid i don't know how i managed that.

hmm - were you trying at the top of the post? While that would make complete sense, you'll need to be next to the base of the lightpost to light it instead.

Right click to "capture" the yellow flame-looking things that spawn to get a yellow charge (you can have 4). The capture zone shows just for a few frames.

Then press spacebar to use that when you're next to a light post to light it up.

Then standing in the light recharges the blue bar, which keeps you alive, but stops yellow sparks from spawning at that post while it's on.

Sorry for the confusion!

good, simple concept, executed pretty well. thumbs up!

Nicely done! Current high score is 55 :D

A good idea executed very well, well done!

haaa - definitely a feature. ;)

Lol you can go back to where the player spawns to find a pop-up where you can click retry XD
