The interpretation of the theme is great. The art style is so cute and polished (the graphics reminds me of Patrick's Parabox :D). Exploring how to use and collect different actions is fun. Love how randomness is controlled by the seed to allow strategic plays. A very solid game overall. Might be better to show the effect of the actions while hovering over them.

First of all very cute bunny and overall art work! I loved the look and feel of the game! This is surprisingly challenging game I had a great time playing! And more importantly this is such a unique game ! well done!

really amazing concept love it!

I would die for Maby

This one is mostly a win. The gameplay and art are all good but the rng feels a bit too challenging.

Cute Classic game! Goona set a record for today.

Very cool puzzle game! Some of the actions took a bit to get used to but overall very impressive!

The art and sound is perfect! REALLY interesting mechanic, felt somewhat rng but never really unfair. It's kinda hard to think too far ahead with wolf and tile placement, but its manageable  once you loop back. The  tile effects are a bit unintuitive for the later tiles (was there an option for seeing what they do?), but once you use them once or twice it starts to make sense.

Developer(+1)

hello ! thank you for the feedback we appreciate it,
is it because the icons are unintuitive (couldn't guess the colors means things ) or just not knowing the effects of it before placing it?
Do you think there was too many tiles effects to start ?

Submitted(+2)

It definitely felt a bit overwhelming at the start, and other than the rotation and swap effects (which have really intuitive visual indicators) the others I had to figure out by trial and error.

Really fun and addictive puzzle game! I really like the mechanics and how you can use the wolves to actually help you by opening up a path. I also really like the art (especially the bunny), and the game is overall really polished! I also like the little detail that if there's a wall between you and a wolf, it takes an extra turn to jump over the wall.

I think maybe you could make the wolves also be able to loop vertically, to make it a bit more challenging. Right now if you stick to one edge, and place the wolves on the other edge but one tile ahead, they kind of serve as an extra carrot tile, because their pattern does loop vertically. Like that you can progress pretty easily, and stay safe from the wolves, since they can't loop themselves. Now this also has it's downsides, like a naturally spawned wolf for example, but I just thought it was worth pointing out, since there wasn't really anything else :)

One of the most addictive games I've played this jam :D

Developer(+1)

hmm yep we saw a lot of people bypassing wolves by putting it to the left side but I never heard of this mechanic xD, ty for this precious feedback, how did you lost ? by the time, by being softlock ? wolves spikes ?

Submitted(+1)

Most of the time it's by naturally spawned wolves, or me just not paying attention :D

Cute little puzzle game! Really solid art! I liked it a lot!

dudes be dropping masterpieces like that and than asking for "honest reviews, bad also". There are like nothing to critique. Everything on it's place. A job well done

Developer

I MEAN you can say that it's too difficult, didn't understand what the wolves does, the actions etc

Submitted(+3)

That was pretty cool. One of the few games I played more than a couple of rounds of.

The wolves don't seem to obey the movement restrictions of the tiles, which prevents players from playing defensively.  I was also able to place the wolves that I drew well behind me, so those ones weren't a problem.

Developer

Hmm was there frustration for the wolves movement restriction ?

Crazy good polish, unique and creative idea!! Loved this! :D

Super solid entry, as always! I love that you can take your time, but not too much 👌 if Polish was a rating category, I'd rate it 6/5.

The "seed of the day" is a perfect fit for the game too, awesome feature!

Hello! I enjoyed your game Maby. The different seasons zones does a lot for the visuals and looping around the screen was a  nice gameplay touch. mechanic, great job!
