How does your game fit the theme?
a roguelite game. Everytime player will start as a new miner who just getting started without any upgrades.

Lovely little game! Only made it to boss 2 but I was surprised how much I got sucked in lol. The sound and music really sold it for me - great work!

This game looks incredible, especially the effect when hitting rocks, and the particles when you run and jump! I love the consistent pixel art style; everything meshes together super well, and no asset feels out of place. I do feel like the non-pixel art circle particles that float across the screen take away from the pixel art effect a little bit, but it's still a really cool effect that adds a ton of extra ambience.

This is a very small nitpick, but the shops feel a little awkward to use. When you hover over 2 items at once, and then move so you are only hovering over 1 item, instead of displaying that item to buy, the 'buying' menu closes. There were also a few times I tried to buy an item, with enough money, and I had to walk out of range and then walk back to be able to buy it. Shops still worked, though, and were a great mechanic!

The combat is simple, but fun; it reminds me of Stardew Valley combat. Really fun game!

even tho i'm not a fan of roguelike games you made it really fun that kept me playing for a really long time, i didn't even noticed. it's very well-polished and honestly the only feedback i could give is if you decide to make a post-jam version would be adding more bosses variations at the end of the level, ofc to the scope of a jam this is already 10/10!

Good game, liked the art style. Good enemy and boss design, they telegraphed their actions well so I could prepare for them. At one point it bugged and I went backwards from the fourth screen to the 1st screen of the level and I thought it was a good convenience, but as I played backtracking didn't do that again. You are incentivizing the player to backtrack with the upgrades that can't afford, so backtracking needs to be interesting not a slog.

A fun and well-polished game, the assets and gameplay are nice, it’s simple but effective. Well done! There’s a pretty small bug when I back-track to the cave shop then proceed again, the miner plays the idle animation even though I still move

Wow what a well polished game! Super impressive, I loved swinging my little pickaxe around and the jumping into holes kind of reminded me of pokémon somehow (There was even variation in the different hole types?!)! On level one a huge mimic spider fell on my head and I died. That was sad. Great game!

Very Polished and fun to play! the art is great as well. The only bug i encountered was the pickaxe showing up on the top layer even if i was behind something, nothing major didn't take away from the experience. Great stuff!

This game is incredibly fun and you should be really proud. Only critique is that the pickaxe texture bugged out sometimes. Over all an amazing game

Had lots of fun playing the game, a well-made Rogue-like demo game, even with bosses. The only critique would be lack of dash ability. (I know there's jump but thats different). And maybe a bit more combat mechanics. But overall a very solid game

I had fun! I love the polish of the assets and game overall.

One small change i'd make is, when backtracking to the shopkeepers of the current level, save the last cleared room and create a direct connection between the shopkeeper and that room. No big issues since the rooms themselves were already small, but this way player may return quicker to the flow.

Great game! I love the art and animations as well as the music and sounds (especially the spitting of the slimes xD). 

Really great job! 

The only thing I would've liked to see, is a better indicator when i hit/hurt an enemy. I wasn't always sure I did. But that's just a detail. You did a great job! Looking forward to where you go with this.

Super fun! Does get a bit repetitive, but if you just scale up on monster/room/rock variety then problem solved. Thes slime jump sfx was really repetitive. Perhaps if you pitch shift it the sound wouldn't be so annoying.

Incredible work for the jam! So far this is top on my list!

Really love this game and the artwork

Found a small bug where by if you jump at the right (wrong) time when going through a door, the player gets stuck in a jump state, made defeating bosses really easy…

but overall fun game
