Aw dang, sorry about the codes! Maybe after the judging and such is done I can see about uploading another version to fix the code cracking. Amazing what simple and obvious things we can miss sometimes 😅

Glad you liked it otherwise! Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for playing!

It's his magic power! Or something like that! LOL

Sorry the code revealing didn't work, I hadn't experienced that in my testing but could've easily missed something. To see the code you have to click the "lock" symbol on the right in the "MISSIONS" view. Didn't quite have enough time to improve the UX there so it may also just be unnecessarily hidden 😅

Lovely little game! Only made it to boss 2 but I was surprised how much I got sucked in lol. The sound and music really sold it for me - great work!

Nice work! Even if it's short its got style and I can feel the love poured in. It takes time to build the skills to even get this much done and it looks great! Art is wonderful btw - be proud!

Great game! I don't know how it took me until level 4 to realize I could zoom and pan the camera /facepalm

But it was great fun! Very engaging concept with enough systems and room to expand it. Even just this short version was very compelling. Awesome work!

Oh that's a good idea actually. A little touch-to-aim system and a single on-screen button would probably be enough to make it work.

Thanks for playing!

Nice job! Great first game. Decent amount of varying elements with platforms, holes, bouncers, etc. Just enough depth on the movement between a jump and dash to give the player that sense of control. Solid work!

Really creative! Awesome idea with good execution, and it looks wonderful! I could only get through about 5 or 6 levels before my RSI was acting up and had to call it quits. An accessibility option to help with the act of clicking the "start" signs would be nice. Maybe an alternative option where it gives you a random button to press that shows on the sign?

In any case, great work for a jam game!

Solid work for a first game! Handful of simple ideas that meshed together well, enjoyed the twists as it went on! Fantastic work!

(PS. Thanks for the "no scares" option. No idea if that actually would have changed anything but it made me feel a lot better :D )

Very enjoyable! Found a handful of bugs but none negatively impacted my experience so I had fun just messing around with them a little (eg. spawning lots of plants, generating tons of "grab" particle effects). I dropped a TON of seeds on my way down at the end and I was pleasantly surprised to see them slowly start planting themselves on the END screen lol.

Great job! Beautiful little platformer!

Thanks for the compliment! That would have been fun too! Sort of like the power of a shot in golf to mimic the pull of the plunger in a pinball machine.

Really loved this! With some extra polish this would be an immensely fun way to spend some time. Very well done!

Simple, straight forward. High scores are always fun! Nice job!

Big Chameleon Twist vibes for me, which was pretty awesome. The sheer amount of cutscenes and dialogue is quite impressive as well! I also discovered how to grapple on top of the wall and walk off the level, but you caught me and warped me back to the starting point - GGs!

Yeah those were both bugs we were aware of but didn't have time to fix. Figured it was fine enough to let folks find those themselves. It's a game jam game after all - enjoy the jank :D

Thanks for playing! And thank you for the feedback! There is actually Coyote Time built in, but if you were having issues with it then that tells me it could probably afford to be a bit more generous 😅 (or there's a separate bug, in which case *shocked pikachu face*)

I kinda figured out the lying after the first screen. I may have just been too worn out to think lol. I felt like I tried everything available to me with the one energy, so I may just be lacking in brain capacity 😛

REALLY liked the concept of this game. Big highlight of what I've played thus far. However the controls are extremely awkward and I think some other stuff is getting in the way of the fun. The game doesn't respect the controller input with the right stick and always shoots towards the mouse. Not sure if that's because of the web export, but something is funky there. Also, when firing the wave there is a stutter that I assume is due to re-instantiating the wave every time it gets shot. If that's the case, it could be pooled to save on resources, then just move the object around without having to reallocate memory for it every usage.

If the controls were refined and the stutter issue was resolved, I might legitimately play this game for hours. This is extremely cool.

Really liked the idea on this one, but I think I'm too dumb as I couldn't get past the second screen with the bow and arrow. Super fun though, would definitely revisit with more time.

Simple and satisfying. Feels good to learn the patterns of the enemies. Except those square jerks lol, they always confused me. Art is amazing, sounds are jammin'.

PS. I was grabbing only the middle upgrade (more power) and after 2-3 I basically never ran out of power and never saw any upgrade screens. Not that balance is critical here or anything, but I was wanting that visual upgrade and couldn't get the screen to do so lol.
