Great game! The music and platforming were great, and the difficulty was well-balanced. However, as your game description points out, I got softlocked at the first part of the level, forcing me to restart.

Thanks for the feedback! I have already rebalanced the game, though I still have to test a few things and wait until the judgment period of the game jam is over to post it. The main changes you will see if you play it again are:

  1. Unlock automation much more quickly
  2. Rebalancing of each currency (Lower upgrade requirements, less silver [grey can] income)
  3. Much less extreme upgrade requirements
  4. Automated ads (if bought, ads will be automatically closed by a different cursor). Also, ads will tend to get shorter each time you play them.

This game has become insanely popular compared to what I was expecting, so I will be focusing my efforts on it. Expect an update within the next few days :)

I’m glad your friend enjoyed it! I’ll be releasing an update very soon after the jam for some quick rebalancing, though the full version will take a lot longer.

This is a well-done puzzle game. Good difficulty balance too!

I really had fun with this one! That feeling of getting more powerful was irresistible. However, it would have been nice if the enemies (but especially the bosses) had health bars. And the player should probably also have a health bar, though I suppose you did implement special effects to indicate when the player was about to die.

Very on-point with following the theme. I enjoyed the minigames, but sometimes the leaderboard would appear randomly in the middle of a minigame, and that distracted me from some of the minigames. Other than that, good job!

Thanks for the feedback! An updated version where automation is unlocked within ~5 minutes (instead of the current ~15 minutes) is coming soon (when the Jam judgement period is over)

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll consider having special effects like that when the final game releases, though it’ll probably be a while until the release date.

This game is really on point with the “just get started” theme. Also, it was fun just walking through the level in general!

I loved your game! Upgrading all my gear was fun too. Although those bees were annoying at first, I found them much more manageable when I unlocked the air attack.

I think the most important thing would be a strong clarification regarding the controls. I still don’t fully understand how to use my abilities, so if the abilities are supposed to be used, it’d be nice to actually use them.

But as great as your game is, there is a lot of polish you’ll need to sort out. Things like certain keyboard characters not rendering properly, and bugs that caused me to get damaged by enemies despite having killed them. But again, it’s a game jam and your game has a lot of content for a one-person team, so still fairly fun.

This game has a creative concept, especially with the doodle style. I also liked seeing everyone’s scores in the leaderboard. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to tutorialize the 2 different types of lines in the game. Perhaps a simple tutorial level

I enjoyed the game. It was really fun dashing around the map. But for some reason, it didn’t register that I even could dash until my third playthrough, in which case it became a lot easier. Regardless, I eventually stabilized the universe and felt accomplished.

This game is very fun, but I think it still needs some polish. I like the “one upgrade per run” mechanic. It does a good job at ensuring you don’t get too powerful too quickly. I really enjoyed clanging the sword against the surfaces.

I was initially unsure of how to get points, but when I realized what I was supposed to do, I ended up “just getting started”. I enjoyed it.

Short and fun! Though I found level 4 difficult to navigate. But I found the first 3 levels to be of the right challenge level

A game about trying to play a game. A true classic for this game jam. Also pretty funny and random!

Thanks for the super detailed feedback! Yeah, the general slowness of the game (and the insanely large requirements for the later diamond [ad] purchases) are by far the main source of complaints. I’m glad the ad worked lol. I was going for something that makes fun of mobile ads, so I decided I might as well use a game I made. So the moment the game jam ends, I will make the quick and easy edits to rebalance the game so that (a) the first few stations go by much more quickly, (b) automation unlocks faster, and (c) the automation (esp. for copper) is more complete.

For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out level 13. But great puzzle game! I also liked that the different microbes were introduced in easier levels, so I could figure out what they do before having to struggle with them.

Great bullet hell! I think dashing could be a bit more powerful, but other than that, it’s a great challenge

I like the idea of having to fetch resources to expand your inventory, sell items, and buy upgrades, though I’m still having a hard time knowing where to click in order to sell items. But hey, I started feeling more powerful near the end, and that’s all that matters :)

It took me a while to figure out how to work all the stations, but pretty fun overall

I know one thing for sure - This platformer kept me on my toes. Sometimes, you just gotta have a bit of an adrenaline rush trying to avoid the curse

Whoops, guess I fell off the edge! But in all seriousness, you’ve got a great game concept! Especially if in the future you decide to expand on it

I like the idea of building your cart and then racing in it. I had trouble finding the pit initially, but after getting the hang of it and racing, the controls were very fun to play with!

I think my intent was to have the upgrade you’re referring to play forced ads occasionally. But you have a point. I’ll probably address this by making ads take less time (especially after the first few are played), with more variety (like different versions of the ad), more interactivity (like taking you to a fake download page if you click on the ad), etc. Also, some of the upgrades may cost slightly too many diamonds lol

I love the central theme of this game and the quirky humor

I found this game to be hilarious. The mouse cursor being the character you control is genius!

Finally, a fellow Incremental game creator! This game is a blast!

I think I’m gonna have nightmares lol. Great game!

Not sure if the fact that it only partly fit onto my screen was intentional, but I found it to be an enjoyable experience

This is an enjoyable game! How many levels are there? Or maybe it’s infinite?

Not sure how easy it is to implement, but when it tells you what to press first, you could always use a sprite and then outline all the relevant sprites when you hover your mouse over it. So if you have something like “Press Speed”, you could instead say “Press [Sprite for object that controls speed]”

This is a nice, challenging platformer

I like the WarioWare kind of vibe. Though I’m still not sure how to reliably complete the “Press in Order” successfully

You are correct. I’ll solve that issue in future versions of the game after the jam :)

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll look into fixing this. I do acknowledge that the copper upgrades tend to be more expensive than they should be

This game is way too relatable

Fun game! It’s one of those types of games where you want to rush just to see how fast you can go, but doing so is never a good idea lol.
