I love the art, super well done!
Also I think its such a great idea that you have to create your spells yourself by combining runes. Thats such a cool idea! I think you can make a great game with that. Keep going!
I finally got to play your game too, it's been sitting on my to-play-list for a while. Already the fuzzy stego intro is super cool. Might just be the dev intro, but it just gives such a professional, and at the same time, fun feeling! And the thumbnail, absolutely great job!
I think the game has a lot of potential! I really like the idea of fixing up the broken space ship combined with a platformer. I would love to see a full game made of this!
I really love the fact that this game doesnt need to show any kind of action. It just show the daily life of a man and with the little amount of text, it tells a the whole story about the whole life of the man! And a very emotional, amazing story too!
Only thing I have is, I think the text might be a little easier to read if you reduce the font size a little.
Beautiful art! The mood and all the particles are super pretty!
I personally prefer my jump on Spacebar, so I had to get used to using W, but I got used to it fast. This game is so hard though. I love myself a challenge thought.
I think either the spike or player hitbox is a little too big, so when I slide down a wall which has spikes on the ceiling, i die to them if i go straight down, which is a little frustrating.
But amazing game, very well done!
This game is so well polished. Despite the rather simple artstyle it mustve been an incredible amount of work to create animations for every single sprite. This is crazy!
I just love how clean and fluent it feels. The music and SFX are amazing aswell. It just feels perfect to play this! And the idea of having to wake up the bots aswell as collecting battery is such a good idea! Well done!
I did like all the mistakes you can do. First i closed the restaurant after thinking there were no customers, because I didnt realize there was a left side to the restaurant, then on the next day i immediately spent all my money on veggies and then the first customer wanted a fish...
After that I had a lot of fun though! Amazing job!
Thank you so much for the compliment!
Yeah the original plan was to have even more for more stages of life, but obviously there was no time for that. Also I wanted to make a level selection screen, but since time was lacking, skip level was the easiest solution :)
Thats certainly a good explanation! :) Certainly makes more sense than suddenly being grown up
This is great! Love the puzzle aspect of it and the fact that you have to use the respawn mechanic to be able to do it, is such a nice idea! It really gives the game a lot more depth and since its like the center room it also doesnt make you have to go crazy distances so I think this is really well done! Good job!
I think the only thing missing for me is a bit of music in the background. Unless you want to have kind of an intense and mysterious atmosphere, which I had the feeling it had. Then its perfect!
I love the interpretation of the theme. Just taking a leap of faith and hoping for the best!
I dont think i ever played a game in which i just had to fall. It turned out to not bad as easy as expected. Specially after the green cloud started appearing. I didnt realize at first i could press space, but if i did I had another problem. It took some getting used to but it was really fun! Also poor birds! Getting hit by a rocket person. Also the birds look super nice, well done!
Very nice game. It felt very smooth and polished. I was only a bit sad then the music stopped at some point and didnt loop. Also I was a bit unsure if i hit the end when i landed on the floor.
It was great fun! Great work!
This game is incredibly cute! I love that they all put on these little hats! Adorable! I'd love to see what happens later and what happens with evil and good with those cute little creatures. Keep up the good work!
The only thing missing is some background music. Also I think it would be nice if there was a description for each item.
I think I also found a bug, where I bought the radio for 20 coins in the store, but instead got the shovel (which is 100 coins). When I then later bought the shovel, I didn't receive anything new.
I couldn't figure out what to do at first. Even when i created the word start I didnt realize all i had to do is click it!
But man my poor little heart sure did some overtime there. That's for sure a great way to get started on a heartattack! I really like how it started totally chill, then you started feeling the stress with the maze and then absolute terror at the end! Great scaling right there! I really enjoyed it, great work!
Incredible game! I love the climbing mechanic and additionally with the shovel. It's quite hard at the start, but it gets really fun once you've got used to the controls.
I had to play it a second time because I realized the first time I couldnt pay attention to the game itself at all. I had to use all my brainpower on the moving xD But I love the dark, moody, mysterious look, and the dust particles flying through the cave. You've done a great job!
Thank you so much for the feeback!
You did great then! Ive been told (and I've seen it myself) that the games are on the harder side. Hence why I added a skip button. Although I hoped the difficulty would be okay. Well obviously you have to eat your daily rate of 50 unhealthy foods.
Yeah I was a bit worried that the minigames are just too far off of eachother, there is just no mechanic connecting them, but well. I'm happy with it so far.
Sadly I didn't make the music myself, but I do like it very much aswell! Thank you
Yeah not sure what went wrong there but atleast the Arrow keys work, so thats something.
Yeah most people mentioned its too fast. Thats my first fix for sure!
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I appreciate it!
This game is adorbable. The little dude remoinds me of BMO from adventure time! Super cute. Also feels really nice to play, super clean and very well polished! Good job!
I only with the boss wouldnt shoot right to the spawn passage where you have to get out immediately xD Also I didnt seem to be able to hurt the boss. I bounced on his head for a while. Maybe you can help me out there, so I can try again.
Also WASD would be greatly appreciated.
The aviary is stunning! I love the art in this game! It has something so magical about it! (well its a game about magic, duh, but you really hit the mark).
I really like the peacefulness of the game, and im a sucker for any kind of magical game! I love it. I hope to see this one grow!
I feel like the thing causeing the magic not to work might be some invisible clouds maybe? Because in the places i couldnt shoot, the shit got damaged aswell. So i guess there is some invisible entity there? I think it was also pretty much always directly under the ship.
Also it seems that if you restart the game, that the ship has only like 1 hp (reloading the page works fine though)
What i realized too, is that sometimes you get close to 10 items in the first round and other times you get only about 3. To be fair the spell damage is always in a somewhat similar area, so I think thats fine. Its just something i realized.
Anyway, ive said enough. I really liked it. Job well done!
The art is great, it has this mysterious vibe. I really like it.
Sadly I didn't quite understand the game. What's this with "now", "later" and "never"? I cannot with a good conscience give a rating without understanding it. So if you could elaborate a bit on that maybe, ill try it again later!
But either way I think this game has a lot of potential. Even though I dont totally understand it yet, I see the appeal of decision making and the thought of when best to add a score whether thats now, later or forever(?).
Well, for now keep going and continue the great work! I'll keep an eye on this for sure!
I like the idea and its impressive what you were able to do in this short time!
In my person experience with shooters, I think your bullets are not fast enough so when the target are moving you have to aim quite a bit in front of them. On top of that you can not see where the bullet goes, so you have no indication on where the shot went and in which way to improve.
At the same time I do like the difficulty of having to aim ahead though, it makes you feel like you are sniping a moving target from a great distance!
I also encountered a bug in the third level. I couldn't click on try again, it would just play the "game over" sound.
But great work! Keep it up!
