To save the city or to nap? That is the question...

Play game

Power Nap!'s itch.io page

How does your game incorporate the theme?
The game fits the theme in 2 ways:
- Our heroine is extremely Powerful
- She needs to take Power naps!

I wanted to find a funny way to use the theme, and the "power nap" concept was the one I focused on!

Did you use any sort of AI during the development of your submission?

No

Entertaining game! Didn't realize that the action was restricted to punching instead of timer based napping. Overall great job!

The concept of this is so funny to me.  Great pun lol

Loved the win dancing animation as well :P

Wish it was longer!

Controlled narcolepsy is my superpower

Fun game! It's silly but it works very well, I love the vibe of this game and the voice acting was great. I think the camera could be a little more flexible, as it was clipping through things. Double punching is OP and coffee was a very nice power boost.

Good stuff!

Interesting idea and amazing audio. The cost of missing a punch is huge xd

Developer

Thanks for playing!! And indeed the cost is huge lol those civilians will need to bait the aliens for a bit longer!

Really fun project and a unique idea! Good job on the sounds as well

Finally a game where it feels like I am the main character! The naps and coffee are on point ahahaha. The game is great, I would reset the level though when you die, that way there would be consequences and you couldn't win just by spamming punches. Loved the dance at the end!

[Reposting on submission page as well] This is cute as hell lol, feels like a fully put-together project for 48 hours. The game feels smooth, but what really pops is the personality you put into it - the little dancing at the end is FANTASTIC! Really good stuff!

I did feedback on discord, but pasting here as best place for feedback.

Nice job, really nice to see 3D game in Godot. From visual perspective is nice pleasing. Mechanism of napping is pretty original, that force player to strategically plan is he have enough power to take fight and do not punch "in the air", here i would add some more difficulty so player need repeat again game and learn how to move to pass it The

Final animation and devlog is nut! ♥️

The sounds are awesome. Fun game!

Hm, I’m getting this error when I try to run it:

Error
The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross-Origin Isolation - Check that the web server configuration sends the correct headers.
SharedArrayBuffer - Check that the web server configuration sends the correct headers.

Am I doing something wrong?

Developer

Hey Braska! Some users may experience this as I have turned the experimental SharedArrayBuffer option on itch.io

I believe this error shows up when the browser doesn't support this option!

Would you mind letting me know if using a different browser solves the issue?? Also, could you let me know which browser did you use? I'd like to confirm the issue!

Otherwise, if you're still interested in playing you can download one of the native versions!
