You’ve really polished every aspect of the game, from the game page, to favicon, to in-game. For the price of free, it’s a rock solid 5-star. Good job!

I enjoyed it and I love the graphics! Add local co-op. I could genuinely see myself playing this with my GF.

Remastering an old project really throws you back. Good times!

Fun game! Love the pixel aesthetics.

Top 15 is not an easy feat, good job! Thanks for playing.

Fun experience.

If you look at it purely from a game perspective, it was a bit rough on the edges. Given that it was master thesis research, I understand the priorities.

I’m curious as to what exactly the research is about. I’d love to read the final report. Can I sign up?

Great presentation and great game. I’d choose an eternity of playing small indie games like this over any AAA games.

That’s an interesting take, continuing development slightly and making it a mobile minigore. Why not?

I’m interested. I tried signing up for the beta but your site says that my email is not valid. It’s a .solutions domain. Your email validation is too strict.

I enjoyed this game and I could see myself playing a full version on Android.

It does need one level to ease the player in and to explain the game. I understand you didn’t prioritize for a game jam though.

I never thought of it as retro, I suppose your right. Thanks for playing!

I like it! Good job.

Clever doing endless dungeons with power-ups, feels the game design accomplishes a lot with little.

Feedback:

  • I naturally wanted to move the camera up and down but the game barely responded to that.
  • After I clear a room, I would want more movement speed to get into the next room quicker.

I’m probably doing something wrong, but all I see is a screen with static noise on it. I’ve tried dragging and clicking buttons, but nothing happens.

Fun game! Haven’t played many clicker games, but I ended up staying on this game for a while.

What does “Dampness” do? What do the springs do in the game?

I got the same, can’t drag anything.

We overshot the submission deadline with 5 minutes due to a pesky bug. Oh well, the objective was to create a game in 48h and at least we did that: https://braska.itch.io/its-not-the-end-of-the-world

Hm, I’m getting this error when I try to run it:

Error
The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing:
Cross-Origin Isolation - Check that the web server configuration sends the correct headers.
SharedArrayBuffer - Check that the web server configuration sends the correct headers.

Am I doing something wrong?

It’s a great start and I like the concept.

Don’t know if I fully understand everything, would’ve been nice to add what the different coloured tiles means to the description.

Fun!

I’ll definitely enjoy all these brews together with a cold brew in my hand.

It’s me and my friends first game jam as well and we’re (trying) to do the same, although it’s easy to get carried away with scope.

Anyway, super psyched to be here. Good luck!

That’s great record, congratulations!

Thanks for playing.

It really is. I got better over time when I created this, which was awesome. It’s funny how much harder typing in reverse is. Your brain is kind of wired to understand A-Z and not the other way around.

Thanks for playing!

I second this. Handheld gaming is on the rise and better controller support would be awesome.

I like the idea of an option.

Feature request: Automatically like your own content. I mean, it’s a bit lame but let’s face it, we all do it. The system may as well do it for us.

Hehe, practice, practice, practice.

To be fair, someone pointed out that keyboards are made for typing words and not the alphabet, so this game is not really fair to begin with.

Thanks for playing!

I’d like feedback on my game A Game About Typing The Alphabet. What can I improve with regards to the game and what can I improve on the game page? Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you for this asset! I used it to create A Game About Typing The Alphabet.

Check out my game A Game About Typing The Alphabet. It’s the first game I ever publicly publish. It’s completely free and playable in the browser.

Almost two decades ago I learned programming and the first software I ever created was a game where you speed typed the alphabet. As a tribute to those times, I found it only fitting that the first game I ever publish would be a revamp of that.

How fast can you type?

Awesome man, that’s a good record. Let me know if you manage to beat your own record in the future.

Don’t forget to leave a rating. I’d love your feedback.

Thanks for playing the game!

Well deserved, it’s a great game. Good luck!
