This was extremely well done! I'm genuinely impressed on how much game/mechanics you got into a jam game. Had a lot of fun playing. I was cracking up when I had to drive the car into the boulder to get into the shed. That was clever :D. Driving felt and looked great too. Puzzles were cool. Loved looking at the mirror to get the code.

I did get stuck at the spotlight part where the cop car drives up to you. I would get pushed halfway to the rock and then would clip through the car and get spotted. However I saw a youtube playthrough of the rest so I still got to see the endings.

Congrats on putting together a great game though! This game is practically Steam ready. It's a full experience. Great job!

I wasn't able to go past the door (will keep on trying), but wanted to leave a comment saying it it awesome already! I just found it difficult to discern when the items are highlighted for you to interact.

Thanks for taking the time to play! Ya, if you lag, you can glitch past the collider for the portal (I made it too small). You might have to go back and forth a few times if your PC lags a lot. The Windows build is a lot less laggy btw. If you were referring to the puzzle, the solutions are on the itch pages. Thanks for trying our game anyhow!

Submitted(+2)

Oh, I found one solution within the game, might as well look for the other ones there haha

This was really really good! The Story was great, the jumpscares actually got me, and the music you used were very good I wonder if they were custom-made, the atmosphere is fantastic, I got stuck on some puzzles but managed to do them all, I didn't understand what happened in the end though? why did I have to sacrifice Nathan? maybe I just wasn't paying attention, but overall Fantastic horror game :)

Developer(+1)

The Music was produced by Woodenk specifically for this game, Thank you for playing our game!

Thank you for taking the time to play our game! Unfortunately, we ran out of time to properly finish the ending, so we put it together at the last minute. The concept was that there was a doomsday event, and the only way to save the Moon was to sacrifice Nathan. Officer Graves was caught in a sort of time loop until he decided that the cult was right and that Nathan had to die. Anyways, it didn’t end up working as we didn’t have time to flesh it out.

aha that makes much more sense, great game, would love to see more from you :)

Awesome game, I loved the story and the fact we had interactable items! I encountered a bug after using the car (when attaching the rope)—once I got out, the camera got stuck close to the ground, and I had to restart the game. But overall very nicely done, good puzzles and mechanics!

Developer

Thanks for trying our game and providing feedback! You know, I encountered that bug once and I kind of forgot about it.

I really liked the vibe and atmosphere of this game!! And the story that accompanies it is very interesting! The puzzles were quite entertaining, my only complain is that the maze portion was a bit frustrating to finish, but overall this is a very well made game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for taking the time to play and provide feedback on our game! Ya, that maze portion was way too hard. We didn’t have time to properly playtest that section and the spotlight part as well.

This was awesome to play, I loved the retro style. You did a really good job on that. And adding all the interactive items and things to pick up was so awesome!

Good Job, very well done!

This game has a graphical style that I think makes it a bit harder to convey a true sense of horror.
But that’s just how it feels to me personally — others might experience it differently.
Aside from that, it’s a large and creative game with lots of variety, and I really enjoy playing it!

This had such a chilling vibe throughout. The moonlit roads, the whispers on the radio, that cult presence creeping in quietly, it all felt unnervingly real. The GPS and rope puzzle was surprisingly clever, and the stealth section had me properly on edge.

I got caught once or twice, but escaping made it feel even more intense. The way everything tied together made the whole experience feel like more than just a jam game.

Amazing work with whatever retro dithering shaders you used, I'm kinda jealous lol. Great story and gameplay mechanics, puzzles were the most fun part for me personally however, the first stealth section's difficulty caught me by surprise a little but the second one with multiple enemies and a maze leaned a bit more twards frustration. Maybe if the enemies had a some sort of terror radius and were a bit slower on turning around, maybe theyre projected light should be a bit bigger than the hitbox where they insta kill the player... In general some counterplay for the player. Those are my thoughts and I hope you continue working on the game, its geat! Just needs a little more polish

Developer(+2)

Thanks for trying our game and taking the time to provide feedback and suggestions. I like your idea about the light radius being bigger than the trigger radius.

Great visual aesthetic and horror elements, good game overall. I loved the driving, and liked all the puzzles in the first part. I managed to beat the first part of the stealth section but was locked out of the second part somehow after falling off the map (lol)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for trying our game! Sorry about the bug, I shouldn’t have had that door lock after entering that building.

Just wow! I really emerged into it. Very good mechanics, from walking to driving a car. It has beautiful graphics which reminded me of ps1 era when I was a kid. Very good!

Seriously impressive mechanics, from the rope puzzle to driving with that spline-drawing GPS, it all blew my mind. The moon cult story felt genuinely creepy.

Holy hell, there is so much in there in terms of mechanics, the rope puzzle, the goddamn car driving with a goddamn GPS that draws splines where to drive, this is so technically impressive to me!
I thoroughly enjoyed the narrative, the whole moon cult businesss feels relly foreboding. I really liked that particular puzzle with the house number. And the one where you had to remember your locker code - in a narrative sense, it was very neat, even if it's just you remembering the code.
For the life of me I couldn't beat the stealth section with the hedge maze and cultists. I assume it's close to the end of the game? Tried a whole bunch of times, but couldn't find a route that would work. Might be a skill issue.
The game is great, the writing is fantastic, I dig this so much!

Thank you so much for taking the time to play and provide detailed feedback!

I apologize that the maze section was too difficult. I find it’s so easy to lose perspective on how challenging something actually is as the developer. Your feedback is extremely helpful!

That maze section was very close to the end. After that, there’s a short trail with statues placed along the path, showcasing Nathan’s story, and a portal to the final act where you try to save Nathan.

I’ll be sure to check out your entry as well!
