Very impressive game and definatly interesting way to integrate the theme. Reminds me of old CS and R6 games. The game is definatly a bit too hars for the avarage player though I guess it depends what youre really going for. I still recommend lowering the difficulty to reach the widest range of players possible. Maybe make it so theres a way for the player to heal (unless I mist it somewhere), add some checkpoints. I hope some fetures get added to ease the difficulty because I still want to actually beat it. This seems like a very fun game to speedrun.

Thank you for playtesting my game! And for pointing out unique issues with the game. The logic behind why the player is only allowed to use one security measure is currently pretty dull and therefore ruins the immersion so I'll definatly try to come up with something better. However the ability for unique enemies to stand out from each other on the camera feed is extreamly important so I'll be adding that to the top of my list to fix right now. My main recurring issue as a game developer has always been underexplaining the most important game mechanics, so I'm very curious to see if you managed to beat the game or at least counter an attack or two. The video you linked below (which I assume is a gameplay video of my game) is currently set to private, so I can't watch it. If you could make it public or grant me access, it would really help me identify and fix as many issues as possible.
Interesting implementation of the theme and pretty neat sound effects. Gameplay is not too ambitious so pretty decent submision. There are some bugs that definatly needs fixing like the image that shows up when stabbing an enemy bugs out and stays on the screen forever. Also I don't want to be prejudice but you should really avoid using AI generated art. It gives you an inconsistent art and in most cases scare a lot of players away. I want to encourage you to try and cook something yourself even if at first it looks kinda bad. With every attempt it will get better and better.
Thank you! I'm happy you liked the voice acting and im glad that you provided some constructed critisism. You find the gameplay to be too boring which is what I'll be aiming to fix but considering that I have no video source of anyone playing I must ask, did you manage to beat the game or atleast counter an attack? If so that means that the game was too easy for you and thats why its boring and I could add some enemy for player to interact with in the background. If you did not than the game might be boring because I failed to explain the game and adding more enemies would ruin it further. Your answer would help so much but either way thanks for playing!
Amazing work with whatever retro dithering shaders you used, I'm kinda jealous lol. Great story and gameplay mechanics, puzzles were the most fun part for me personally however, the first stealth section's difficulty caught me by surprise a little but the second one with multiple enemies and a maze leaned a bit more twards frustration. Maybe if the enemies had a some sort of terror radius and were a bit slower on turning around, maybe theyre projected light should be a bit bigger than the hitbox where they insta kill the player... In general some counterplay for the player. Those are my thoughts and I hope you continue working on the game, its geat! Just needs a little more polish
One of the more ambitious but polished games I played yet! Cant tell you how hyped I was when I realised some one made a SCP game for this jam and I was definatly not dissapointed. Things you did really well: You matched classic SCP/Slenderman vibe extreamly well, actuall voice acting instead of some AI slop which adds so much to the asthetic (in my opinion underated af), added a lot of depth to one of the more basic SCP (although I might be wrong, havent done really any research for this one). All this is really missing is maybe a bit more content..? But thats just the usuall extra polish things which I hope after the jam ends you do. Good job, Inspired me to do an SCP game as well now that you hyped me up whith this.
I really hate to do this but could you help a brother out and maybe try out my game as well + tell me what you liked or disliked? Really struggling out here..
Edit: Oh yeah, consider moving the poster to the begining of the game for those who dont know the SCP. Also the poster was just placed in the air, could be a bug or something.
Lol love this. The movemnt is so clean I feel like this is 100 percent going to be a speedrun game. Really awesome monster design feels like they came right out of some Silent Hill game. Was a bit confused what I had to do but with a little bit of polish, maybe some subtle yellow paint *wink* *wink*. Like I didnt really understand why did I have to do the fuse box or collect these items or do the suitcase puzzle cause I feel like I could've just ran twards the exit and thats it. All of that said its short and sweet. Definatly one of the more fun ones!
Could you help a brother out and try out my game + tell me your opinion on it? Really struggling out here :D
Bro im so bad got only 6780 Anyway really good job and I love that you actually implemented a leaderboard im always sucker for those. Only issue is that the controls are something else really.. Unless they are costimizible and im just an idiot lol. Could you help a brother out and try mine out and tell me what you liked or disliked?
Love the retro asthetic and a pretty neat player interaction system like how player uses both hands and theres an actuall animation pressing buttons and opening doors. Though the game desperatly needs to avoid using invisible paths and maybe some subtle form of yellow paint wouldnt hurt. With a little bit of polish you could have a really great game! If you find the time you could try out mine ant tell me whats wrong or good!
I really dig the 3d models (that are custom made I assume) and animations you made! Reminds me of Fears To Fathom. Theme is integrated wonderfuly, though it seems like its missing some sound effects. With a little bit of polish you could have a succesful game. If you find time please try out my game!
"However one "X" card actually added 10 to my score which was kind of confusing." Oh damn, I'm so sorry that happened I must have messed something up big time lol. Thank you for such a detailed feedback for the game and I'm glad you enjoyed it even with all the bugs... Had a blast watching the video, you and you'r editor did a really good job!
