I liked the graphics, the laser sound effects were pretty cool and the voice acting was a nice touch. I'm not sure if the dialog was supposed to overlap with other dialog, though.
I liked the idea but would've liked to have more feedback when hitting the laser or stuff like that, it felt like i was doing nothing. Good job on the entry!
Congrats for your entry it's a nice game with a well implemented concept. It wasn't very clear which button corresponds to which number, and what happens if the sequence is not respected. But i really like the setup, the 3D environment and the vibes it gives. Great job on the dialogs, it worked well for me in setting the atmosphere (except at some point where the dialogs overlaped). Special mention to the laser animation, felt great !
Well done!
Thanks for checking it out and I鈥檓 glad you liked the vibes! Definitely a few things that could鈥檝e used some more polish, totally agree on all your notes and appreciate the detailed list!
Cool game! Everything about the game felt intuitive to me in my opinion. Great job!
That鈥檚 great to hear, thank you so much!
I like the lasers and the game itself. You can't just shoot a hole into the surface of mars type gameplay. I only wish we could customize the mouse sensitivity.
If you hit 'P' you can rebind keys and adjust sensitivity! I'm glad you enjoyed the game :)
We originally bound pause to "ESC" but that has issues for browser builds, and "TAB" is used for navigating control nodes.
Ah I missed the P button somehow, I'll try it again
I had a few issues with the voicelines going on top of each other, but I restarted the game and it was fine. Really weird but cool concept, plus that laser animation is dope !!! Now I understand why you didn't like my lasers hahaha 馃槀
To be honest though, that's an impressive game for such a small amount of time. I would've love a bit more explanations about the map, but if you mess around with it a bit, you understand how it works. Very cool game !
Thank you! Definitely could've used some more polishing and clarity, glad you liked the lasers though!
Yours were dope too, the mechanic was really well implemented in your level design. Could totally see it being expanded into more levels and mechanics.
Cute map. I also feel bad for lasering multiple neighborhoods before realizing that I should follow the sound of the indicator.
It seemed some people's favourite part was lasering random neighborhoods lol! I'm glad you were able to figure out the indicator, it definitely could've used some more explanation
Are we the bad guys?
I definitely lasered an unsuspecting neighborhood by going straight to the controls and just pressing buttons until something happened. Nice game :)
The unsuspecting neighborhood was a worthy sacrifice, thank you!
Loved the game. worked great on opera browser. the only real "bug" i ran into was i accidently triggered all 3 voice lines at the same time just by walking around and exploring the ship lol
Voice lines definitely should've been handled better, gets quite noisy if you proceed too quick. I'm glad you still enjoyed it!
Really cool game. The screens dont work on safari and the outside world imagery doesnt work on firefox.
Oh that's unfortunate, thank you very much for reporting! We're very new to web builds but will make sure to check browser compatibility for next time.
No problem! Getting the builds right is tricky. Yall made a game to be proud of.
This was really impressive. I spent a few minutes once I'd done all the tasks just trying to blast random parts of the map and interacting with things in the environment to see if there was anything hidden. Also great settings/options menu and kudos for including key remapping.
Thank you, definitely aim to continue including and improving options functionality. If we do expand on this project more, consequences/effects for blasting different parts of the map will definitely be there!
Nice 3D world - that's impressive to put together for a game jam! I really enjoyed how you used the Immersive wildcard to display information to the player.
I was a bit confused by the targeting computer at first. I didn't realize that the gauge in the lower right corner indicated where to aim, and that I had to left click to put the red dot on the target location and not just move the crosshairs there.
100% the targeting computer was lacking explanation, I'm glad you were able to figure it out though despite that. We're pretty satisfied with how the world turned out in the short time we had, thanks for playing!
I probably destroyed the houses of a few innocents while figuring out how it worked, but I got there eventually and completed all objectives ;)
I like this kind of game, where the goal is to figure out the game basically. It could be really interesting if you expand on it with more variety! Nice job
Thank you! I'd love to expand on the idea more, lots to be done even just looking at collateral damage on innocents ;)
Very happy to hear you were able to complete all objectives! Great job!
