I am soooo glad I took the time to play this game. It is very charming (I love the little cutscene at the start it's so cute!) and the main mechanic of the game is so fun. I'm so surprised it doesn't have more ratings, you definitely deserve more recognition! The music variations, the art, everything is just so well done. It really gave me kind of a celeste vibe. After a lot of tries I left at the section after the purple one, with the red laser doing kind of a windshield wiper motion, and the two alternating white ones. I kept getting killed by the double red lasers after that, not having enough momentum.

Honestly wonderful job, your game is definitely in my top 2 of this jam (I can't really decide who to put first, you might be tied honestly!). Hats off! 🔥

Thank you so much for playing Lirana!

I am so sorry for the sketchy gliding mechanic, I wish I've had more time to polish it and make it more consistent 😔. The third pet was indeed at the wizard tower, it's the one who gives you the dash ability.

I'm glad you had fun nonetheless ! <3

Thanks a lot for playing! <3

I love the artstyle of this game. The movement also feels hella smooth and it is overall very cute. I just managed to stuck myself in a house in the level with the bouncing mushroom and it took me a while to get out 😭

Overall really great stuff!

Such a cute game! The idea was also very original. I managed to make 10 deliveries with 9 damages at best. Not a very good carrier but I was still on my first day at the job 😔

I've had a lot of fun with this one! The sleigh movement felt really smooth and the music was just the cherry on top. Also the game idea is really cute and original 🤗. I didn't really care about how much children were in each town, I just wanted to deliver to all of them. That wasn't very clever but hey, atleast I don't have the guilt of being a bad santa!

I felt like it got really hard at some point though, when I get triple tornadoes in my face it does hurt quite a bit hahaha.

Really nice job!

Thank you so much for the kind words and for playing pdil! Yeah at the end I simply rotated the camera that's why the controls are inverted, the player was supposed to not be able to move afterwards but I messed up 😅

About the mac export, I've got a LOT of issues with my game in the first day of the jam. It was supposed to be a web build but I got so much issues with opengl that I ended up making just a windows and a linux version. Somehow godot didn't let me make a mac one. I really didn't have time to figure it out, because I was already very late to fix my gamebreaking bugs (I even got extra time after the original 24h provided). In the end I was so exhausted that I just wanted something that worked atleast for windows and linux so I focused on these two. Next time I'll try to keep some time for the web build testing 😔

Oh. My. God. I literally got obsessed with your game so much, that I played it for almost 2 hours. That never happened to me in a game jam before (well it's only my second one but still). I can't even believe this is your first entry! I had so much fun trying to discover the best way to navigate around the map and optimize the flight to get the best possible time.

The graphics are really good, and the notebook is just perfect as a tutorial.

Having played for wayyy too long I encountered one major issue for the game to be a bit more competitive friendly : the forest biome. It is so freaking difficult compared to the other two. At some point, I instantly restarted my run every time encountered one. The trees and trunks density is ridiculous and it honestly wasn't very fun in my opinion. Also sometimes the hitboxes in general can feel a bit weird and unfair.

Other than that, I think you made the best game I've ever played in a game jam, I am honestly an absolute fan and will be looking forward for your next games. I seriously hope that you'll win this one <3

Congratulations on making such a great game !!! 🔥🔥

PS : I managed to make 110s but I truly believe sub 100 is possible with no forest and no hit.

Thanks a lot for playing a_kimb0! I'm glad you liked it <3

Very cute and fun game! I love the idea. I struggled quite a bit with the camera but otherwise that was very nice :D

That was such an original idea! I have a lot of fun with it. The graphics were really charming and cute and the crt shader makes it even nicer imo. Very good entry, probably my favourite so far! 😎

Insane game I love it! I'm genuinely shocked at how you managed to make this game in such a short amount of time. It is very satisfying to play, and the controls are very intuitive. A bit laggy however on the web build (especially on the first hit, but it seems like it is that way for a lot of 3d games when you first do a specific action). Good job!! 🔥

The game looks really neat! The lighting and the models really make it look great. I'm also glad to know that I'm just as bad at pool games as I am in real life. I just felt like the physics were a bit weird when close to a hole? The ball starts moving side to side for some reason, maybe an "entering the hole" animation, but while staying on the table.

Very good job nonetheless!

Thanks for playing Kanosis! Glad you enjoyed the game and the cloud buddies :)

I wish I've had more time to make more challenges as you said, but with work I could only work for 2 days on my game so it is what it is 😅

Blink and you'll miss it

Very good entry, I've had a lot of fun! I'm quite impressed that this is your first submission because the quality is there. I don't know if this is intended or not, but holding the click makes you literally shoot lazers and almost one shot all the enemies. It also kind of destroys your ears but is good fun.

I've also seen a tank flying across the map 😂

I've had a difficult time at first with the camera, but after getting used to it i've had a great time! It would have definitely been more satisfying to play with some music and sfx I think. The boost mechanic is also well made!

Note to myself (I don't know if my computer is causing this or not) but DON'T LOOK BACK or your computer might explode.

To be completely honest though I had fun and this is was a good one. Great job! <3

Your grapple feels so incredibly good. You can get crazy amount of momentum and zoom through the levels. Although a bit short, the game is so fun! Maybe a bit too zoomed out as JMC said. Overall really good entry <3

Thanks a lot for playing and for the kind words spoon! As I only had time during the last week-end to develop the game, I cheated a bit for the physics 😅.

The grapple is taken from an addon (DestroHook, made by Lord Destro), and the dash is a revamp from the one I made for GWJ82 aswell! I'm happy of how it turned out :D

Thanks a lot for giving it another go after the fix and for recruiting your friend! I originally had some checkpoints for the bubble /  bridges part but because it was mid air it was a bit glitchy and I had to fix it in a rush so I just removed it. Even I feel like this makes the part a bit unfair 😅

Glad you enjoyed it anyways! <3

Thanks for playing Vivid! Yeah the gliding pet is definitely a bit hard to use, it needs a little rework haha. It was my first time making a game more about graphics and not mechanics, so I'm glad you liked them <3

Thanks a lot for playing Partheas! Glad you liked it :D

Thanks a lot for playing! Yeah the controls definitely need a bit of work (especially for the gliding pet), but that's the best I could do in two days 😔. I had a lot of fun watching you play it live. Glad you enjoyed it <3

Aaaaah what a cute game! I was a bit shocked when I saw the blood and gore option so I decided to activate it after finishing the game. I thought it would be a bloodbath but in the end it turned down to still being cute <3

The movement feels really good and you can (I don't think it's intended) get crazy amount of speed when you manage to glitch yourself in an animal (a rabbit in my case). The only downside I'd say is that my hyperactive self couldn't stand to wait for every animal to get saved when they were already in the rescue zone.

Very good entry, great job!🔥

As the others said, I feel like the enemies were very difficult to kill. However after a few runs, you get used to the yoyo mechanics and it becomes very fun! The magnet kind of felt like a debuff to me though, because I couldn't spin the yoyo as much with it since it was slowing down to hit enemies.

Very good concept and good execution nonetheless!

This felt so satisfying to play! The dopamine when playing your game was insane. The mechanics fit perfectly together and the sound cut while being invicible is something I found amazing. Personal preference but I didn't really like the auto aiming (I don't know if you made an option to disable it but I didn't see it), because I would've prefered going in the direction I wanted and missing the target instead of going a different direction and hitting the target.

Still an insane amount of fun, and one of my favourites so far! Good job 😎

This game is so much fun. I really got some agar.io vibes from it, with a bit more chaos (the bubbles you shoot are sooo weird to control). I feel like staying on the sponge is a bit overpowered though hahaha.

Great entry! :D

I loved playing this game. At first I didn't read about the jump mechanic so I was wondering how to do level 4, I tried to shoot as fast as I could and then knew I missed something. And there was the jump, which by the way felt soooo incredibly good. I had a blast! Really good entry 🔥

I really liked this one! The graphics are very charming, and the car physics is well made to add some challenge. Great entry! <3

Very cool game concept! It feels very satisfying to play, and the special attack is just so cool. As cookie jar said, activating upon releasing right click would've been more intuitive. Also, a cool bug (feature ? probably feature), when you die while using the ability, you die in slow-mo. Great entry!

I finally figured it out... took me the whole day basically. It was an issue with the shaders when running in compatibility mode. Note to myself, i'll make my own shaders now (or atleast try to). If you wanna give it another go, feel free! :D

Thanks for the feedback! I'll post it on discord when the downloadable version is up. I kind of wish I could stop people from playing the game in its current state, but it is what it is 😔

Thanks a lot for playing ab_plus! I'm glad you liked the humour 😎

Thanks a lot for playing and for the kind words!

Glad you've had the web build working... seems like some people are crashing when entering the house (which is very weird, there is no event at all when the player enters the house 😔)

(1 edit)

Thanks a lot for playing and for the kind words Annikat.

You're not the only one that crashed entering the house, i'm very sorry about that... it never happened to me and I can't seem to reproduce it. Was there a specific area where this occured? Because to be honest, entering the house isn't supposed to trigger anything, which is why this crash makes no sense to me... I think it's maybe shaders or texture related but I don't really know :(

(1 edit)

Hi, thanks a lot for playing! I honestly have no idea about what can cause that web crash (I've never encountered it myself) and I see you're not the only one that ran into it, i'm so sorry. Was there a specific area where this occured (like is it just in front of the house, when you step inside, ...)? Because the house is at the beginning of the game so it's kind of... gamebreaking :(

Definitely on the harder side, but a very cute game! The slipping mechanic makes it very hard. I struggled quite a lot on level 3 but I figured it out :D

Great entry!

I love the atmosphere of your game. The art is insanely good! The SFX and music are also on point. Really good entry, I enjoyed it a lot!

Very original idea. As VividEnigma said, the controls take a little bit of time to get used to. And sometimes it feels a bit unfair when you get 20 astroids in your face with only 15 tons to send.

Cool game nonetheless!

Very nice looking game! It also feels really smooth to play. One thing I wasn't expecting was the boost pads... they face forwards but if you take them from the size it's instant death! Poor seal.

All jokes aside, very good entry, loved it!
