I almost finished the game without understand that you could hover on the missions to see what you had to do.

I ended up only having the headbanger remaining and then discovered it.

Otherwise that was such a cool experience! I had so much fun and the fact that you play as a rat is so goofy, bonus points for that :D

Really great submission! <3

Very cute game! Loved the laser pointer controls. <3

The fact that you have to use the box to turn on the lights was very clever. I'm guessing that the achievement with the moon was to finish that last room without turning the lights on, that's a cool touch!

Overall really good submission, loved it! :D

Fun little game that i'm not very good at 😶

The characters animations were top notch and overall the atmosphere was really charming! Loved the confettis aswell.

Good job on your submission! <3

Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :D

Don't blame your setup, it has it's charm! Everyone is free to do what they want that's the whole point hahaha

Thank you so much for playing and for the kind words! <3

Very cute game, that was a lot of fun! I started out terribly but managed to get better in the last days 😎

The art is very charming and the amount of effort you put in putting descriptions for every animal at every job with a full description is insane. Also, don't ever give work to the panda. Anywhere. Really.

Really great entry! <3

Oh my bad lmao! Then I guess you were Tyler? I saw you just changed your name hahaha

Thanks again so much for the infos you gave about that issue! <3

Also the auto shooting mode could defo be really fun as well! Maybe too easy though?🤔

Very fun game! I honestly love how it feels to play, it's so satisfying.

One little thing, I'm the kind of person that likes to test how spamming stuff is handled in games. And well, in your case, it might just sliiiightly overpowered hahaha. Maybe adding something like a bullet count would help with that?

Other than that, it is very solid, I had a blast! Interesting window sizing as well. As someone already stated, it had that "doodle jump" feel, that was very nice.

Great entry, and congratulations for your first jam! 🔥

Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback DefectiveDev! <3

Glad you liked the sfx and music. It was my first time working with Sfxr to make sound effects, it's definitely a great tool! Also I'm very sorry about the looping. I've just had a discussion about it and it should be fixed now :D

I feel like a lot of people are having the same idea about the potion mixing (which definitely makes sense!). I actually plan to make a cauldron, that lets you mix potions together to create something new (maybe bi/tricolor potions?? :o). I guess I'll see when developping it!

Thank you so much for playing Bazitor! <3

Good job on making it to the last one. I agree the game is pretty (really) empty right now, in terms of content. I'd say it's almost out of theme because of that... but I'm gonna work on it after the jam, since I've had a blast making it! :D

Cute game! I didn't really understand the second mechanic (the stopping one) at first, so I ended up trying to pick up flower for 2 good minutes lmao

The art and sound design are really nice! The game is a bit unforgiving though, I feel like a bit more checkpoints could help that.

Really good entry overall! <3

Very cute game with very simple controls yet some complexity! I really had a great time. Loved the chaos that could happen if you don't manage to make the little ones fit in a house!

The style and music reminded me a lot of pico park, which is a game I really enjoy playing, so bonus points for that as well.

Good job on the entry! :D

I had to look up what Tingus Goose was to actually understand what the game was about, it could have helped to have a little description! However, you seem to have the basic mechanic already done!

I don't know if you plan on continuing this project, but if you do please let me know. Also you're the first game that I see interpreting the theme this way, even though I remember seeing a few people mentionning that idea. That's sad you didn't have time to finish it! I would've loved to see more.

Cheers!

I wasn't expecting you to come back on my older games (my first one even!)

Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :D

The idea of the game is pretty nice. I've stumbled open a similar game a few days ago, but I liked the visuals of yours much more. Also it feels satisfying to play! As you said, it is not finished, but it's a really great start! I'd love to see more.

Also congratulations for your first submission! 🔥

This is such an original idea, great interpretation of the theme!

The hp rings felt a bit op, and I found myself liking to go full archer and full archer damage. Became literally invicible hahaha.

Honestly congratulations, this is a very good entry (especially for a first jam)!

This is such a cute game! I really loved the graphics.

The fishing mini game is also very satisfying, one of the best I've ever played (and I played quite a lot!). It really is just that good.

I did have quite a lot of freezes when playing in browser though. I also managed to (kind of?) break the game by spamming the fishing rod, and it was spamming me with the "caught something" exclamation mark, but I couldn't reel it in.

Really great entry overall! 🔥

Thank you so much for playing and for all the awesome feedback Songbird!

The overlapping was intentional, however some people managed to exploit it... a LOT. They managed to place chests all around a single generator, that was really funny to watch haha

There is a music slider because there actually is music in the game. However I noticed that the web export broke the looping part (so the music only plays once and then it's just infinite potions and selling sounds going brrr)

Glad you liked the sfx!

The "error" messages were actually made in a rush in the last minute, because I felt like the game was lacking feedback for the player (it was just playing the "error" sound and nothing else). But as you stated, white on a very light color clearly doesn't help! I added that to my todo list :D

I actually really like your idea of mixing colors between eachother! I'm going to have to decide between this or removing the overlapping... though decision!

Thank you so much for playing Pebble! Glad you enjoyed it 😁

I'm very happy that so many people appreciate the sound effects ❤️

Thank you so much for playing! I really enjoyed watching the replay of your livestream.

About the theme, I really made this game thinking about the theme, but overscoped so much that I had to find some way to make it fit with what it currently has lol

There was supposed to be a lot of ways to reuse the potions and other resources together to create new stuff and all that, but I was wayy too ambitious.

I really loved how you took the time to screenshot the game to do a colorblind test. That is honestly a very good point that I need to work on! Adding that to my list.

Also, the fact that you've tried to let it run in the background really made me smile, as this is kind of the essence of idle game 😁

Thanks again a lot for all the feedback you gave and for playing! ❤️

Wow... that was truly an amazing experience. I honestly was a bit scared at first because it kind of looked like an horror game, but it ended up being fine haha.

Honestly, the camera flash really is an incredible feature, and I am really impressed that you managed to do that, along with all of the other stuff, within the duration of the jam. Amazing work!

Also a little thing, at the beginning of the game, I tried to jump but couldn't, so I assumed there was no jump in the game. Which made me struggle a bit at the end when I needed to get the vinyl, I walked around the whole thing before figuring out I could jump and grab it lmao. Maybe I missed a dialogue that explained it?

Nevertheless, that is an amazing entry, I love it! 🔥🔥

Thank you so much for playing! Glad you liked the art ❤️

Most of the main sprites were made by heyitswidmo, big props to him for the amazing work!

Thanks for playing! ❤️

Glad you had fun hehe

Hi there,

Thanks a lot for playing the game and for the report ❤️

I'm aware of this issue and I'm currently working on a fix. Unfortunately, I can’t update the build during the game jam voting period, but I’ll publish a devlog afterward with bug fixes and new content (fixes will be the top priority).

Hope to see you again!

Thank you so much for playing SlightlyMadman! I'm glad you liked it ❤️

Yeah my original intent was to have much more generator types and some generators that would fuel other ones.  I even thought of generators that would require material from recycled resources to be placed... or smelters to transform the empty bottles into glass to create new generators... well... I definitely overscoped hahaha.

I will definitely continue working on it. Thanks for your feedback, interest, and for the kind words! 🙏

The difficulty curve is always a really hard thing to get in a game jam imo, because you just don't have enough time to test it enough haha. I still believe you managed to do well! Having other characters joining really helps and it doesn't feel unfair 🙏

Thanks for playing and for the rating!
If you have any specific feedback, I’d love to hear it, it really helps a lot.
This version was made for a game jam, so it’s more like a prototype, but I plan to keep improving it.
Appreciate you taking the time to try it!

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback! I was aware of the overlapping being a thing but I felt like it could make the player able to make some kind of generator clusters. However I was not expecting the chests being placed that way lol. I will patch it after the jam to fix all overlapping, that would make more sense. I'll had that to my todo list. Cheers!

Thank you very much for playing Wyatt! ❤️

That was kind of the plan in the beginning, I've been working on some mining generators that would mine powder, that could then fuel the potion generators. There also was supposed to be glass bottle generators, and melters to melt the empty glass bottles after selling the potions, and much much more... This is the first time I've overscoped in a game jam, and I overscoped A LOT lmao.

Woooooooooooooooooow what a factory!! I'm actually very surprised someone even went that far! I'm really sorry for the crash, I didn't have that much time at all to playtest, let alone make such a big factory lmao.

I am so glad you liked it, this is the first time someone gives me such feedback on one of my gamejam games ❤️

About the difficulty, it is 100% too easy as you stated, I didn't have time to adjust the numbers. There was also supposed to be some interaction between machines : potions were supposed to be created with powder, glass bottles and water... let's say I definitely didn't have time to do that, so I cut it down a lot to atleast have a working game hahaha.

I also wanted to make either a timer to make the most money possible, or a "earn x amount" as you mentionned, but didn't have time for that either. I do plan on continuing the development as this is the first game jam game I make that I feel like could go further :D

In the end, thank you sooo much for playing and I'm glad you had fun! Your comment really made my day ❤️

Thanks a lot for playing! I'm glad you liked it, cool factory too! :D

The price of each potion is actually written under each generator in edit mode, right after the price of the generator. Now that you mention it, it's true that it's not very clear, I'll have to improve that. Thanks for the feedback! ❤️

The main mechanic of your game did remind me a lot of 2048 (as you stated in the description, saw it as I'm writing this lmao).

That was such an original game! The art and music are very charming as well. I had a blast :D

I managed to get my best run starting as a rogue, and died in wave 3.

Really good entry! 🔥

Thanks a lot for playing! Cool factory 🔥

I was not expecting that you were actually going to draw stuff using the generators lmao

Well yeah... there was supposed to be some drills producing powders to fuel the potions factory and much more, but I overscoped so much hahaha 😅

Thanks for playing!

I was drawn by the ridiculously long isekai like title... and I'm gonna say I'm really happy I played this game! This was so much fun.

Just like in isekais, I was so op that I basically oneshotted the final boss and all the enemies around it. Zooming around with like 6 bullets ricocheting 4 times each with ridiculous attack speed was the funniest shit ever!🥳

Honestly really great entry. Even though it's the second one I play, I'm pretty sure this is gonna stay up there in my most liked games list. Great job! 🔥🔥

In the beginning I went all in on a single spawn point, let's say I didn't survive long! 😅

Although a bit short, the main mechanic really is fun, and the game is charming. It took me 3 tries to win!

The menu is also terrifying to me 😭

Great entry! 🥳

I am soooo glad I took the time to play this game. It is very charming (I love the little cutscene at the start it's so cute!) and the main mechanic of the game is so fun. I'm so surprised it doesn't have more ratings, you definitely deserve more recognition! The music variations, the art, everything is just so well done. It really gave me kind of a celeste vibe. After a lot of tries I left at the section after the purple one, with the red laser doing kind of a windshield wiper motion, and the two alternating white ones. I kept getting killed by the double red lasers after that, not having enough momentum.

Honestly wonderful job, your game is definitely in my top 2 of this jam (I can't really decide who to put first, you might be tied honestly!). Hats off! 🔥

Thank you so much for playing Lirana!

I am so sorry for the sketchy gliding mechanic, I wish I've had more time to polish it and make it more consistent 😔. The third pet was indeed at the wizard tower, it's the one who gives you the dash ability.

I'm glad you had fun nonetheless ! <3

Thanks a lot for playing! <3
