Ho wow! Thank you very much and congrats on reaching the end level :D    Yeah it was kind of a bummer this shadow bug (not the only one by the way ^^). We only figured out what was the problem a little later after submission (see: debug for post-jam release ). I think we overshoot the quantity of content, we may should have build less levels and try to fix bugs earlier, but that's easier said than done ^^'

Anyway thanks again you for your feedbacks and for playing :)

Very cool game, with lots of different mechanics. I liked your level designs, the levels combine well the different mechanics, and the progression feels well thought. I like the fact you don't need to explain any mechanic, and that it feels natural to try the new type of platforms. I especially like the pixelart for the orb pillars and the final orb. I'm bad at platforming so I did rage at some point, but it was accessible enough for me to finish ^^'

Great job!

Original hide and seek game ! I like the artwork and the atmospheric music, very chill and fit well wih the aesthetic :)

Congrats!

Ahah, I felt so guilty playing as a darn sneaky bloodsucker ! Poor coder, just trying to finish the game jam ^^'

It's a really nice game, and quite funny. I liked the music and the mosquito design. Although I felt it was a bit repetitive, maybe the personne could have had some more pattern or set some traps: hidding under the blanket, add anti-mosquito spray making some areas unreachable, etc... (those are examples clearly based personal experience with those darn things  xD ). But they are only suggestions, i know well game jams have a deadline and you accomplished already very much.

Well done and congrats !

Ah yes that's a smart idea using shader for animation! Although i was refering to the effect that makes other stuff visible, like markings on the floor. When we put the cape there is this bubble like zone of new visibility. And i was intrigued how it was done. Sorry for not being very clear ^^' On top of that, I feel quite stupid because you linked the video explaining the effect in the description of the game page, which i'm only noticing now  xD

But it high-lights something I didn't noticed before, the fact that you did all the 3D assets of the game, and they look great! So congrats on that too :)

Very cute game, love the art direction. Also the music is very nice. Well done :)

Cool entry! You hold a good concept here. In my opinion it needs a little more balancing as I wanted to try the death and it was quite difficulte to die as we are surrounded by food and damage are too low. A part fom that the control are smooth and i like the general design. Congrats :)

Too bad for the bug! The game is very nice, love the world shift effect. It feels dynamic and smooth. I like the music and the character is cute. The menu feels neglected though ^^"

Anyway, great job! :)

Nice entry :) Simple yet effcient, the game play is well done and have good feedback when interacting with the gosts. I'm quite fond of the design of the ghosts. Congrats ! :)

That's a very cool concept! And it's very well executed, no bug, everything is smooth, and well polished. The levels are well design, in my opinion. I really like the cape effect, I wonder how it was done, but it's a very cool idea that can be adapter in many gameplay. I also liked the music and the general atmosphere. Everything feels coherent. Well done and congrats ! :D

I really like the concept, and it's very well implemented. Everything is quite smooth, and the progression feels well calibrated. Well done :) !

Very nice concept! I liked the general aesthetic and the sound design. The game feels satisfying and dynamic. I really like this implementation of the genre. If I may ask, what's your academic background ? It seems it's your second game implementing scientific concept in your gameplay. I am very found of the idea, as myself would like to do this in the long term :)

Anyway this game is very well made and well polished, as already mentioned in the comments. Congratulation !

PS: Love the fact you put the functions that are fired

Neat puzzle game, I really like the concept. The different mechanics goes well together and the puzzles are not too difficult yet challenging. I liked the music. Congrats :)

(1 edit)

Really cool concept! I liked very much the setting and how we are challenged everytime. I am found of the graphics but espacially the choice of the music, and the dialogs are satisfying. I'm quite curious though, how to you mark the drawing? (my bad I just saw your answer in the comment below ^^') It was not as frustruating as I expected.

Great job!

Here are my "masterpieces" x)

Mice stealth game you have ! (pun intended ;) ) It's cool and well implemented, I liked the level design. I also liked the graphics and the music, which fit the overall atmosphere. I didn't get any cats for the last level, is it normal ? (i guess it's due to the deadline)  Anyway very impressive  and congrats for your first game jam submission!

Very cool puzzle game ! The game play is very intuitive and no need long explaination text to give us the mechanics, all was done by thoughtful level design, very well done. On top of that it has a satisfying end, you manage what we didn't, make it short enough for a game jam xD

I feel some level could have been using more combination of the unseen power. But it's already very good. I also really liked the graphics and the music. The aesthetic is well polished.

Great job!

Great game! Well, I guess i must say great gameS x) That's a very good take to merge multiple gameplay and "simple" yet satisfaying games into one framework. It must have been some hard work to do that much ! On the games side I really liked that you went into the detail that each games has its own music and dynamic. It made it fun to switch from one to another. I also loved the play on words with the names x) I learned i am as bad at Flippy Da Bird than at Flappy Bird. Although I did discover some skills in Planet Defender, not enough to get above F :S

At first i thought playing those games for 12min would be long, but as they are well imlpemented the urge of performing got me hooked more than I expected ^^'

I found the arcade environment to be super nice and the general music too. Maybe a little too dark, though. I didn't get too see much of the unknown figure, but I guess this is also the point.

Anyway great work and congratulation!

I'm impressed by all the work done here! Have you made the graphic assets ? Because on top of the simulation it's rather time consuming so big congrats for that :) I really liked the music and the concept, a nice twist on the god game genre ! However, I fear i missed some of the features, i felts interacting too much with the human made my presence too much seen, so i ended up not doing so much. Maybe some balancing could improve the game play, allowing to reach further into the game without plainly waiting ?

On the whole I feel the core mechanic is here and I enjoyed playing with the various and several options you gave us. It seems everything worked well on my side.

So once agin well done and congrats for your entry :) !

Glad I could test the new working version :) It's a neat game, well executed. It's a good twist on the battleship classic game. I liked the music and it was cool having shop marking the progression.  Congrats for your first entry !

Very cool stealth game ! Love the aesthetics and the music. I took some time to get the control right but it felt good dashing between enemies to "clean" the area x) The smoke bombs where a good idea, making the game more puzzle like on top of the dynamic. Great job!

Congrats for your entry it's a nice game with a well implemented concept. It wasn't very clear which button corresponds to which number, and what happens if the sequence is not respected. But i really like the setup, the 3D environment and the vibes it gives. Great job on the dialogs, it worked well for me in setting the atmosphere (except at some point where the dialogs overlaped). Special mention to the laser animation, felt great !

Well done!

Thank you very much for playing !

You right for the flashing lights, it's part of a bug we are trying to fix for the post-jam release and should not be part of the game, but still we should have thought about it. Thanks' :)

I really like the concept, and the game dynamic. I found lvl 4 quite hard and was temped to just take a picture ^^'. I feel the graphics and music fit well together. Congrats !

Cool stealth game :) You did a great job for the 3D environment and the atmosphere setting. I really like the effect for the gosts, but I didn't find it very clear what triggers them (the distance+the light ?). Anyway well done !

Neat twist on the poker mechanic! I liked the music and the design. It's quite dynamic and feels good to play. Great job :)

Superb! I really liked the graphics and the general aesthetic. Special mention for the wonderful music! In addition it fits very well with the dynamic of the characters, giving it even the sensation of a dance between us and the agents. It was fun to play and beautiful to watch, great job !

Impressive work! Its a fun game with good mechanics! Indeed the platforming was quite difficult for me, I did got the first slope-jump, only after the hint on jumping right away helped me continue. But other than that I liked the music and the general aesthetics which work well altogether here. Well done :) !

Cool game! I liked the music and felt the general atmosphere was nice with the beautiful background. Lvl 7 was quite difficult for me, but I'm just so bad at platformers x)

Anyway, congrats !

Cool ! And why not CPUParticles2D ? Maybe you could have exported it in web this way. Anyway it works well and it was fun to play :)

Neat game. It works well and the music makes it dynamic. I have to agree, lvl 8 feels like pain x) Otherwise all the mechanics goes well together. Well done!

same :(

Okay I was not expecting the ending to be soooooo satisfaying x) The atmosphere is on point and the animation are well done. Did you use rotoscopy effects ? Was it you who dances ? Would be very funny ^^"

Cool implementation of the theme and fun :)

Nice entry :) The plot twist was very cool ! You have made multiple games in one game so I'm impressed! I liked the underlying story and how the music make the atmosphere shift from "ho a fun little game!" to "there is somehting more..."

Congrats!

Yeah at first it didn't work, have you tryed the calibration button at the start ?
