Haha yessss, I'm glad you were able to figure out the mask mechanic a little bit despite the lack of info on it. We were low on time and one of our developers had grabbed "bah" as a joke placeholder sound, but it ended up sticking :)

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it!

Glad it felt pleasant, thank you for playing and for the kind words!

Thank you for the kind words, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! We'll make sure to have something more complete for the next one, definitely a good learning experience

Oh a gag ending for the jam version would have been great without too much extra work. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely keep it in mind if we're ever in this position again. Glad you enjoyed it otherwise, and thank you for playing! :D

I ran into the mis-alignment issue as well, enabling fullscreen seemed to fix it

That was quite fun, the character animations were super unique and I loved the overall style! The different character abilities made for interesting changes in playstyle. Overall good job and congrats on your first GWJ submission!

Nice creative take on the theme, the puzzle mechanics were implemented well and it was all very intuitive. I would love to see this expanded on, adding a couple levels for each new mechanic being shown off!

Cute platform, definitely challenging but mechanics were all very clear and straightforward. The option to adjust the number of lives was definitely nice to have, and it was neat seeing the number of deaths in the credits. Good work!

This is a super unique take on the theme, awesome job! I wish I was a better artist so I could do more with it, it's a really neat idea though and seeing your screenshots are super inspiring. Your loading screen/intro was also really neat, I might have to try something like that in the future. Good job on the submission!

Cool idea, the challenges weren't too difficult but the masks each felt nice and unique in their play styles. It was really nice trying out the different masks against the other challenges, godo work!

Nice unique concept, the game was quite fun! Is there any end, or does it go on forever? I really liked the saturated colours, and the gameplay loop felt was enjoyable. Congrats on your first GWJ submission!

Cool turn based combat and huge congrats on your first game jam submission! Submitting anything at all is a huge achievement and definitely something to be proud of. I would love to see more in the future!

Looks like that fixed it, I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue and congrats on your first game submission!

Enjoyable puzzler, would love to see more levels! I thought the visuals on the player sprite were quite cool, the flipping effect when turning left/right was a nice touch. Congrats on your first GWJ submission!

Super unique and original entry, that was nice! The art was quite cool and overall a neat vibe. Great job, and congrats on your first GWJ submission!

When trying to load the game, I get a "memory access out of bounds" error. The game looks interesting otherwise and I'm intrigued by your description of it. Great work pivoting and getting something submitted even though your first idea wasn't working out, and congrats on your first GWJ submission!

Great submission, the game loop was quite fun and it all felt really intuitive so easy to get the hang of. Super satisfying getting everything to max level. Congrats on your first GWJ entry! It's awesome to hear you're planning to continue working on this, I'm excited to see how you build on it!

Agreed, our mask mechanics were trimmed down significantly and the tutorial level doesn't offer scenarios to make the mechanic really necessary. Thanks anyways for playing!

We definitely hoped we could have got more in passed the tutorial level. I'm glad it felt nice, thank you for the kind words!

I would've liked it longer too 😅
Thank you for the kind words and for playing!

Thank you so much! We had a few mechanics for masks planned out, but at submission time we had to cut it down to what was most complete and left us with only a simple "armor" type mechanic by applying herbs in the inventory. Super exciting to hear you were hooked and would like to see more, that's the biggest compliment we could hope for!

Thank you for your kind words! We definitely wanted to build on it more, a lesson in time management I guess. Still exciting to hear you hoped for more of it!

Haha thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed my sliders 😅

Absolutely, we had a bunch planned and the time limit hit us hard. Thanks for playing!

I would have liked to fade out the geometry around the camera to prevent collisions, hopefully for next time. I'm glad you liked the main mechanic, it definitely killed us not having time to create more levels and expand on it. Thanks for playing!

This game is so gorgeous! I thought the player controller felt quite good, and the final boss was challenging but I definitely felt myself getting better over time. The end screen and credits were really beautiful. Amazing work, and congrats on your first submission to GWJ!

Very original and good implementation of the theme. I really like the ghosts visuals, super cute and satisfying. The puzzles you have are nice, I would love to see how you might expand on the mechanic!

This is a really unique entry! Cool way to try out multiplayer. I tried joining with my sister and we weren't able to find each other, but either way cool experience for a game jam.

This does unfortunately seem to be broken, your cover art looks really good though. Possibly you can re-upload it or add it as another project on your account? Would still love to try it if you're able to work out the issue!

This was super fun! It was really challenging the first couple plays, had to strategize to make it all the way through. All of the directions were very handy and your upgrade system felt really nice. Loved the final boss, great work and congrats on your first GWJ submission!

Hey, I couldn't seem to get passed the elevator sort of area near the start if there's anything after that. Visually this looks like it could have been quite interesting, and the player in particular looks like it could've been quite cool. Good work on your first GWJ, submitting anything is a great achievement!

I loved the art and sound in this. The mechanics were pretty straightfoward and the levels felt good, the characters were sweet too. I had some issues with controls and the skill tree was a little confusing, otherwise really nice though. Glad your team is trying out new things!

Unique game, I really liked the style and the animations were perfect, made everything feel really nice. The mask designer was a really unique touch. Good work!

This looks like it had good potential, sorry to hear scope got to you. Super sweet you guys were able to produce your own art, I like the style and am excited to see any future work!

We definitely had a ton more planned but sadly had to cut it down due to time constraints. Glad you enjoyed it anyways, thanks for playing!

Thanks for checking it out and I’m glad you liked the vibes! Definitely a few things that could’ve used some more polish, totally agree on all your notes and appreciate the detailed list!

That’s great to hear, thank you so much!

Hey, congrats on your first ever game and this is especially impressive given you only started godot the day before the jam!
Your mechanic was implemented well and levels stayed interesting, game felt pretty polished. With some more visual and graphical updates, this would be great. Don't be too hard on yourself, this is very impressive!
Would be cool to see the intended ending in an update after the jam.

Hey, this was really nice! Even though you weren't able to submit on time I'm glad you were able to get out of tutorial hell and make this in such a short time frame, the visual effects are really nice and I could definitely see this idea being expanded on!
