Lovely game! The mechanics are really nice! there are some tricky levels xD

Developer(+1)

Thank you! yes haha wanted to make them challenging! I posted a video of myself playing through it hopefully it helps anyone that gets stuck!

Nice mechanic. I found an exploit that when you push e.g. the blue guy with the red one he doesn't fall through red platforms.

Also, the characters are so cute :)

Developer

Oh shoot will have to look at that for a future update thanks for commenting!

Oh my god. This is basically the same idea I had for my entry but like 1000000000x better executed.  Allowing the characters to stand on each others heads is clutch. I think the fact that the two entities interact to finish the level is more impactful than just hitting a mcguffin switch to allow the other character to finish which is common in this style of game. I think this is what separates Trine and unravel from other 'Multi-character platfomers' and you nailed it.

fantastic entry, great job.

Developer

Thank you so much! I had intentions at the start of the jam to have it based on a mcguffin switch but when play testing thought about using them together to complete the levels, I felt like this also added to the theme of Solidarity working together really well! Will check out your entry!

I was surprised by this mechanics!

Nice game, reminds me of Brackey's Date Night game. Like others said, controls are a little too slippery.

Developer

Thank you! My true inspiration came from old browser game I used to play called Fire Boy and Ice Girl both very similar! Controls are definitely slippery and something to update in the future!

Cute game! I played for a while. Pretty fun design. I liked your star background. My entry was also about two players working together in a similar way.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! The star background was created with a particle system! Will check out your entry!

I like your interpretation of the theme! How its centered around working together. I took a similar approach with my entry :)

Developer

Thank you! I wanted the game to be centered around working together to achieve a greater goal! Will check out your entry :)

It's fun but the controls can be a bit annoying..

Developer

Glad it was fun at least! Definitely need to fix movement to be less slippery.

Nice game and good choice of colors! The controls were a bit slippery.   :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yea I lost track of the movement being the only one to play test and had gotten so used to the controls that after seeing other play I did not realize how slippery it was... a fix for a future update!

Submitted

Cool idea! Very nice that you can play together. Could be a bit easier at the start, though.

Developer

Thank you! yes definitely should have made it easier to start especially getting used to the controls (they are a little slippery).

Really love the art. Especially the strain face when u step on the pink square w the blue. :D  Cool level design too. I think it would be helpful if when you moved the bottom square the top one moved w it kinda like a moving platform? Right now you kinda have to do small baby steps with each.

Developer

Thank you! definitely going to add that in an update so whatever player is on the bottom will move the player on top with them!
