Game Description
Like golf but not even really...

How does your game tie into the theme?
You're in control of striking the circle to score and it is very chaotic.

Great job! One of the most fun of the jam and I enjoyed the chill music. Look and feel of the game was well done! Some feedback:

1. Playing with a mouse I could only pick up the square for a like a second before it got automatically dropped. Not sure if intentional but it doesn't feel great when that drop happens.

2. I think making the circle hit the things with +1 is bad? like higher is worse in golf. I think the big green +1s could potentially be confusing because big and green = good.

Great take on the theme. Very fun, reminiscent of geometry dash.

Thank you. I watched some of your stream as well and it's really rewarding seeing some one play my little game live! I appreciate the feedback.

Had a great time on stream with this one. I'm reading your comments now about the touchpad vs mouse, and yeah I was demolishing the courses with a mouse, but still had a fantastic time.

This was a cool game! Mixing golf with just playing around with a physics system was quite enjoyable! One of the thing I noticed, though, was that the game didn’t seem to handle especially fast moving objects well. I felt I was able to glitch the system by just whacking the ball ridiculously fast to the point the ball started just traveling through objects (happens when a physics object travels faster per-frame than a collision object is thick). Beyond that, though (or maybe including it), I enjoyed this game quite a bit.

I played this on one of my recent streams. Here’s a link to my playing your game!

Thanks for playing. I made it with touch screens in mind (most of my testing) and I didn't realize that using a mouse would allow a player to break the physics collisions. I now know there's a different way to handle that with code so I consider myself winning with just the increase of knowledge.

Thank you!

The music is very relaxing and it felt really good to fling the square full power and watch it go ham.
The physics didnt break even at very high velocities. very cool :D

Fun game. Good job :)

I got par 12 on hard

The "you did your best" after I rly messed up the round made me laugh haha. Really satisfying when i time things right, and matches the chaos theme well ~ also appreciate the preview-windows/tutorial cuz I felt it communicated how to play/what to expect well!

Loved the chill music contrasting with the physics chaos!

The thing I liked most about this game was that there was so much chaos I could just fling the ball as hard as I wanted and let the game do it’s thing :)

Was able to beat most levels by just smacking the ball so hard it would bounce of the walls  400 times and hit the flag in one swing but overall a really fun experience, good job!

This was fun. Plenty of chaos.

"You did your best" hits me right in the gut 😭

Cool concept! The lofi music felt a little out of place considering everything was flying around but it didn't detract from the experience! :D

Developer

Thanks. I agree on the lofi main menu music and for levels. I changed it in the time challenge mode, but I didn't have time to come up with any more music due to my lack of skill. I never thought a lil hobbie like this would lead to so many new skills!

I got par 11 on hard 😏

I like the simple concept which makes it easy to learn quickly. I was able to go through walls on some of the levels if I smacked the ball hard enough though (web version). Good job!

Developer

Nice! Thanks for playing.

Definitely very chaotic.  I liked the simplistic look and audio aesthetic.  The particles at the end of each hole were a nice touch.  Nice work!
